God's Truth Not Smooth Words

His Correction Rod

His Correction Rod

Christ’s sheep are warriors on a spiritual battlefield,

where cannot be seen are the weapons we wield.

On Power’s side we exchange blows with Principality,

whose missiles are felt in pained reality;

for Satan strikes body and heart to form a deadly deal,

determined to impress upon us death’s seal.

Christ’s soldiers do comprehend the power of words spoken;

understanding Truth is God’s mighty token

while Lucifer’s lies are his power of vile destruction;

thus, we bear only Word’s sword for construction,

praying for the wicked and filthy to be awoken,

that they be not crushed: rather for Christ broken.

Send not away messengers of Truth from God,

for by their words they bear His correction rod

to turn you back from forever ash and sod.

In frantic rage, that chthonic Devil will knock you down;

hoping to twist your mind and spin you around,

attempting to fill you up with his deceitful mind game:

be warned, he does it all in Jesus’ good name

while singing a song to harps strumming a heavenly sound.

Beware, lest he hammers you into the ground.

His beautiful side does mimic the Light he hopes you buy;

though if you turn to follow it, flawed you cry.

God then will take away the power of His words from you,

putting upon you all the things of fear, too.

Be not deceived by Satan’s illusive light on the fly,

for it brings on God’s fire and you will twice die.

Turn not away messengers of Truth from God,

for by their words they bear His correction rod

to turn you back from forever ash and sod.

The Beautiful Side of Evil

The Beautiful Side of Evil

excerpt Truth Gathering Vol. II (not yet available)

The beautiful side of evil: now that must seem a very contradictory statement to most Christians. After all, we think of evil as ugly, horrible, vile; such as murder, rape, pedophilia and lying and all other sins cited in God’s Statutes of Life. Yet several times, Christ pointed to the seemingly beautiful side of evil, as did His Apostles. We must compare God’s Word to the world and people around us to understand of what He spoke.

Matthew 23:27 quotes Jesus having said, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.”

Scribes and Pharisees were the Hebrew religious leaders of Christ’s day; today, religious leaders are called pastors, preachers and priests. Sepulchres are tombs, graves of the dead. Looking at myriad corporate Christendom’s denominations, we find their buildings are beautiful manmade temples, of a sort, and their leaders appear to be godly men and women; but, the inside of their monuments are ugly with lies taught in Christ’s name, thus the adamant followers of those lies are deemed twice dead: UNLESS, those same adherents come out of those houses and repent of the lies to follow only God’s Word.

In this last church age of Laodicea, Revelation 18:4 finds God instruction, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” To receive Revelation’s last plagues is to receive a death sentence: twice dead. The term her refers directly to Revelation’s great whore and her harlot daughters; the apostate synagogues. A prophetic righteous woman is a metaphor describing Christ’s true church/people; a fallen woman is an analogy for a corrupt church/people: they commit spiritual adultery against God, thus are His enemies.

Therefore, we know to look at what appears to be Christian but is a lie: wolves in sheep’s clothing, their followers being goats in sheep’s clothing. Revelation 17:1-7 finds John amazed at what the angel had shown him; for what he saw appeared to be Christ’s church persecuting Christ’s church. Indeed, that had to be a stunning sight and certainly beyond John’s or our experience of how the church should behave.

Therefore, all this hoopla about Islamic and Muslim radicals and terrorists persecuting so-called Christians has nothing to do with Christ’s and John’s declarations of Christ’s sheep being persecuted. The only relevance these have in prophecy is to identify the ending of the Philadelphia age and the beginning of the Laodicea age, which began in 1991.

As Jesus and John indicated, so-called Christians today are persecuting God’s Truth speakers, calling them the same things Christ was called: blasphemers, false prophets, and doing the Devil’s work. Alas, the day soon comes when those same professed Christians will even kill some of God’s Truth speakers— Matthew 10:17, Revelation 11. It is written!

Paul revealed the mastermind behind these apostate denominations/religions in II Corinthians 11:12-15, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And, no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” Satan is a master of disguise and lies. Of course, their end will be utter destruction.

The Light is beautiful in Truth; therefore, when Satan and his ministers appear as light, they seem beautiful on the surface and, because they sparingly use the Word of God— albeit, twisted— they seem right to man’s way of thinking. However, when their teachings in Christ’s name are compared to the whole of God’s Word, ugly lies are revealed. II Timothy 3:5 describes them as “having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” To deny the power of God is to do things man’s way instead of God’s way. Here again God directs His people to “come out of her.”

In Luke 13:24-27 Jesus states that He does not know those false ministers of light, despite their claims to have eaten and drank in His presence while He taught in their streets. And, He does not know their followers in Matthew 25:1-12, referring to them as foolish virgins. In John 8:19, He states why He doesn’t know them: because they don’t know Him or His Father. If they had, they would have obeyed God instead of man.

Christ further describes those unknown to Him in Matthew 7:21-23, when they declare to Him that they have prophesied in His name, cast out devils and done many wonderful works in His name. Again, we are directed to see what only seems to be the Christian church, they that will never enter the Kingdom.

To not know Christ and the Father is to live by man’s teachings instead of God’s; to follow man’s commandments instead of Jehovah’s: yet, in all ways except the most important, these appear to be Christians. To be unknown to Christ is to be unknown to God, therefore marked for slaughter.

How many times have we heard someone say, “Well, yeah, the denominations are corrupt and some of their teachings aren’t in agreement with the Bible; but they do a lot of good in Christ’s name! Doesn’t that count with God?” Most Christian sects do a lot of things man deems good and so do their followers; however, if they don’t obey God instead of man, all the good they do does not count. As God said in the Old Testament, “It’s as if they slit the throat of a dog and offered it as a sacrifice to Me.” Wholly unacceptable! Christ made this clear both by His teachings and how He lived: He obeyed God’s Law, which is God’s Doctrine, all Twelve of the Laws, and told us to do the same.

The traditions of this Christian appearing, beautiful side of evil include Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving; all pagan festivals incorporated into Christ’s church, defiling it. Ah, yes, how beautiful the Christmas tree decorated in gold and silver with merrily twinkling lights, surrounded by gaily wrapped gifts. How fun Easter with its fairytale of bunnies bringing colorfully sweet Easter eggs and little fuzzy chicks piled in pretty baskets for the hunt. Oh, and the delicious delicacies and desserts served up on Thanksgiving.

It has been said by many, “Well, we know those holidays originated in pagan pomp and ceremony, but we are celebrating Christ’s birth on December 25th for lack of knowing when He was really born; and, we give gifts to each other because the three kings gave gifts to Jesus. We celebrate His resurrection and being thankful to the Lord!” Really? Then, why are fables incorporated into Easter’s theme and why is the tradition of Thanksgiving centered on food; both of which are directly related to pagan fertility and harvest gods, respectively?

If the intent is to celebrate Jesus, why not observe Passover as instructed, instead of paganistic rituals? All the commercial to do and billions of dollars spent in purchasing gifts called for a specific holiday frequently puts many people in financially dire straits. Give a gift any time of the year for absolutely no reason!

Why bother to go to your denominational building on those holidays when, perhaps, you go no other time of the year? Hypocrisy, all of it is hypocrisy; just as Jesus called it. Even if you go to church every Sunday, it remains hypocrisy in that Sunday is not God’s and Christ’s seventh day Sabbath: never has been and never will be, for it’s a counterfeit representative of Satan and was established by his ministers seemingly of Light and from which God is calling out His people, so as to not get caught in Satan’s web of deceit.

Beware of pastors and preachers and kings, for they speak not with the mouth of God but from the lusts of their hearts. They are like dogs who turn to eat their own vomit, which is to say they believe and live their own lies— paraphrased Matthew 16:6,11-12; Mark 8:15; 12:38-40; Luke 12:1-2; 20:46; Philippians 3:2; Colossians 2:8; II Peter 2:18-22; 3:17.

It is all about money, thus this is why they are preaching prosperity, that you must help them to prosper so you can prosper; it’s about getting you in and of the world, which prepares you for slaughter at earth’s end. As Psalm 144:8,11 points out, their mouths speak vanity and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood. Proverbs 11:9 warns that the hypocritical mouth destroys all who hear and abide by their words. Christ declared His sheep as “in the world but not of the world.”

Jeremiah 23:16 even warns us about their prophets, “Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.”

Consider the Left Behind series, a very vain, worldly interpretation of The Revelation. Yeah, it sounds great, every human being ultimately will be saved because Christ kills the beast— which they claim is the battle of Armageddon— then He reigns here for 1000 years to personally teach the wicked and filthy that did not repent before His return: it is all a lie and anyone who embraces their interpretations will be left behind quite dead.

Oh, but there is more to the beautiful side of evil that, as importantly, impacts our young. There is the glitz and glamour of television and Hollywood’s movies, the models’ catwalk swaying in elegant designer clothes, and the music industry’s evil rhythm; all beguiling our young to look upon their beautiful celebrities as idols while encouraging bias based on looks and size, therefore promoting anorexia and bulimia and, at the same time, promising love and wealth beyond imagination.

They encourage sin to the max: homosexuality, fornication, adultery, divorce, immodest apparel AND idolatry. They promote the illusion that fun must include alcohol and drugs. As long as you love, then it doesn’t matter how much you sin: you are forgiven automatically. Not true, and this beautiful side of evil prepares the young for slaughter, because parents and corporate Christendom are allowing it. Idolatry, plain and simple. Anytime a person or entity goes against God’s Word, that person or entity has set up self as a god thus become guilty of idolatry.

Worse, those so-called Christian religions are promoting all of it, too. They preach worldly riches sanctioned by Christ, even saying that the poor among us do not have Jesus. Going a step farther into the world, they now have their own blockbuster movies starring some of Hollywood’s elite with others promoting those films. But, even worse, they declare those movies right with God’s Word. And, they have gold winning musicians with award events mimicking those of the world’s wicked entertainment industry. And, some of their singing goats have crossed over to the pop industry because there is more money and fame to be had.

Consider television’s Extreme Makeover, Home addition. In the name of doing good, they replace a family’s 900-square foot house with a 5,000 square foot house. Did anyone think to ask if they could afford the increase in property taxes such a change would cause? Did they think to ask if they could afford the utilities to heat and cool another 4,100 square feet of living space? Did anyone think to consider whether or not the family could even afford to maintain such a large home?

Worse, did they ever think about how unfair it is to help one family each week for six months out of each year when there are tens of thousands of needy families who are watching the show with hope that someone will help them? And, Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Network is no better. Not only is her help selective but her lifestyle promotes fornication and living together without benefit of marriage. Yet, she claims to be a Christian.

Also, consider television’s Extreme Makeover offering a complete body makeover to qualified candidates. What qualifies a candidate? Being ugly by man’s estimation. Face lifts, breast and buttock augmentations, lip enhancement, nose jobs, tummy tucks, fat suctioned off, complete dental work for a bright white, perfect smile. All in the name of helping someone with low self-esteem about his or her looks.

Again, Oprah Winfrey is no better, for she promotes sexual beauty with clothes and makeup as well as hair design. Once again, the promotion of what is beautiful and sexy and what is not, according to mankind. They never consider the impact on children and certainly do not consider the inner person. Why, teens today are getting breast implants, the perfect smile, nose jobs and demand designer clothes: and, parents are allowing it. Yet, their self-esteem is not improved by all that money spent achieving the perfect look.

People wonder why so many teens are depressed, suicidal and/or killing other teens, their parents and even strangers: because none of these things build self-esteem. In order to be loved, one is conned into believing that one must be beautiful and wealthy as well as famous. It is all vanity and covetousness, which according to Colossians 3:5 is idolatry. Well, there just went the first four of God’s Precepts right along with the tenth one.

Another beautiful side of evil is man’s modern medicine and many miracles they do claim. In truth, doctors really do not know preventive medicine; so, the response to any health issues is to over medicate or cut it out or both: in any case weakening or outright destroying the immune system. A magic pill to stop pain, another magic pill to kill infections, another to bring sleep, one to treat mental disorders . . . Well, the list goes on.

Despite claims to the contrary, all pharmaceuticals cause side effects, meaning they are poison to the human body: some acting faster than others. There is not one drug that cures anything. It’s more like putting gauze over a mortal wound and calling it healed, yet the patient is still bleeding internally: sooner or later the patient will die.

The most glaring fact that modern medicine really is not a miracle provided by God is found in the first line of the Hippocratic Oath taken by doctors when they are ready to practice their craft: “I swear by Apollo, the physician, and Asclepius and Heal and All-Heal and all the gods and goddesses that, according to my ability and judgment, I will keep this oath and stipulation . . .” to do no harm. As readily can be discerned, this oath is to every false Greek god there is or ever was; therefore, by this we should understand who is the father of modern medicine. It’s NOT God. God gives herbs for our dis-ease.

What about that beautiful side of modern medicine helping childless couples have a baby by either test tubes or infetro-fertilization? Oh, how happy are the couples when they bear a child by one of those procedures OR contract with a surrogate mother, who may or may not give them the baby when it arrives; yet, they give no thought to the fact that they have side-stepped God and paid no heed to Abraham and Sarah’s story. Nothing good ever comes from turning from God’s way and God’s timing and walking according to His plan. Sooner or later, something will go awry when we function by man’s terms.

This is not to say there is no need for doctors. We do need them to stitch up terrible wounds and to set broken bones or to assist in an emergency. We don’t need their drugs nor do we need their surgeries. The writer hereof learned these facts the hard way. To quote a holistic practitioner, “Doctors tend to bury their mistakes.” This pen’s son said, “Doctors are population controllers.” Well, they continually do perform scientific experiments on us: how much can we inflict upon the human body before it dies.

Yes, all the things discussed hereinabove, at first glance, appear beautiful and good and wonderful and surely provided by or spoken by God; but, they all are an abomination to Him and His vengeance is about to be exacted upon this wicked world. It is a world about to die.

Remember II Peter 3:11-12 for what our focus should be, “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of person ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot and blameless.”

What part of the beautiful side of evil still remains in your life? Are you willing to give it up for everlasting life in paradise?

Christ’s Birth, Death and Resurrection

TRUTH GATHERING, an exhaustive AKJV Topical Bible of all critical-to-salvation subjects, ©copyright 1998 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C. excerpt Chapter 10: Christ’s Birth, Death and Resurrection

Well over two hundred years after Christ ascended to heaven, the then world of Christendom arbitrarily established December 25th as a day to celebrate our Lord and Saviour’s birth: His resurrection celebrated on Easter, a floating holiday having occurred April 23rd in the year 2000. Where did these traditions come from? Are they true? More importantly, are they acceptable to Yeshua? Scrutinizing God’s Holy Word sheds a completely contrary light on corporate Christendom’s festivals and should cause every serious Christian, who is determined to please our One True God, to question the denominational pulpits they have relied upon for Biblical truths.

More importantly, Christians need to be aware that condemnation will pour out upon all entities guilty of instituting into Christ’s church such paganistic idolatrous festivals. This applies equally to those Christians who gain the truth, yet continue to observe manmade commandments, traditions and festivals—regardless of their claim to do so in Jesus’ honor. In His opinion, such professed Christians are rendering lip service and He does not know them. See TRUTH GATHERING chapter: “Fatal Lip Service.”

However, as the title of this chapter implies, the identity of the perpetrator or perpetrators will not be discussed here. Thus, we begin with the conception and ultimate birth of Messiah, Jesus Christ our Saviour. Apostle Luke renders a very concise record for examination and it is logical to base dates on the Jewish calendar, which is the first calendar. Therefore, it is prudent to note that the first month of our year is January, as opposed to the Hebrew first month of the year being September. With that in mind, we begin Luke’s testimony. Please note for the purposes of this reprint, scripture quotes will be contained between * * * * * asterisks while comments will be unbound.

* * * * * Luke 1:26-27,30-31,35-37, 38-42—And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused [betrothed, engaged] to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; and entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was fill with the Holy Ghost: and she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. * * * * *

Luke conveys that Mary conceived Jesus in the sixth month (Adar) of the Jewish calendar, which equates to a Gregorian February. Luke further enlightens of Mary’s pregnancy having extended full-term, placing Christ’s birth around early to late (Cheshvan of the Jewish calendar) October of the same Gregorian calendar. The first year of AD was intended to be the year of Christ’s birth but, due to error, purportedly missed it by 2-1/2 to 3 years. Jesus was 33 and 7 months at His death in April of 31AD, thus it is proper to place His birth on or about October in the year between 4-1/2 to 3BC (calendar matching is provided herein).

* * * * * Luke 2:6-11—And so it was, that, while they were there [in Bethlehem], the days were accomplished that she [Mary] should be delivered [give birth]. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. * * * * *

Luke additionally chronicles that tax assessing was what prompted Joseph to take his pregnant wife to Bethlehem, further confirming an October birth inasmuch as tax collection following the first harvest of any given year. October is the second month of harvest time as well as the second month of the Hebrew new year. Add to this the fact that shepherds still were in the fields with their flocks when Gabriel appeared to them. This too would be normal since October is autumn in Israel (not winter, December [Tebet] or January [Shebat]). History reveals that their sheep would not have been in the fields during winter months.

Further, it was Joseph and Mary’s custom to travel with their family to Jerusalem every year for the two-day Passover festival, which begins March 31st (Nisan). Christ was twelve at the time His parents discovered Jesus missing three days into their return home from just such a trip. Remember that Jesus was later found in the Temple, wherein He told Mary and Joseph that He was about my Father’s work. This, then, occurred on about April (Iyar) 6th, 9AD —remember the calendar discrepancy regarding the AD year of His birth, thus this incident would not have been in 12AD.

Luke 3:23 reveals that Jesus was about to turn 30 when he was baptized by John and then spirited away by Satan for 40 days of temptation. It was following this event that Christ’s ministry began. Thus, we may conclude: His ministry began either with His baptism—about Sept. of 27AD—or following the 40 days—approximately late Oct. 27AD.

The Bible reveals that Christ’s ministry was 3-1/2 years to the point of His death—see Daniel c.9 regarding the 70-prophetic weeks, 490-literal years— allowing for restoration of the road to and the city of Jerusalem as well as the temple: then the Messiah’s ministry would begin at the onset of the 70th week—or last 7 years of the 490—and ending in the midst of the 70th week or 3-1/2 literal years.

Christ’s death occurred exactly 486-1/2 years following the onset of road and city construction. Therefore, it is appropriate to place Jesus’ death in April 31AD—from point of baptism and just prior to His thirty-fourth birthday. This is in harmony with the fact Jesus and His Disciples shared Passover.

Luke 24:52-56 further confirms April (Iyar) of 31AD, informing us that Christ was placed in a tomb just as Sabbath came on, which is sunset Friday, following several events having begun with Passover—March (Nisan) 31st through April (Iyar) 1st. On Wednesday, April 1st, the last day of Passover, Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Late on Thursday night (the 4th watch), April 3rd, Judas arrived with soldiers and Jesus was taken prisoner. By the next morning, Friday April 4th, Christ had been condemned to death, sent to Pilate, who released Barnabas, and then Jesus was hung on a cross.

Luke 23:44-46 tells us Jesus died at about the ninth hour. God’s time remains reckoned as a night being from sunset to sunrise and daytime being from sunrise to sunset, with a 24-hour day determined as sunset-even to sunset-even. Therefore, if we assume the sun rose at about 6AM, then Christ’s death would have been on Friday afternoon at approximately 3PM. Luke additionally advises that Jesus was placed in the tomb just minutes before sunset, or at the onset of Sabbath, April 5th. This is reasonable considering that criminals were allowed to hang until almost sunset but not beyond: because it was against the law for anyone to hang overnight. Additionally, while Christ died at about 3PM, more time transpired while counsellor Joseph went to obtain permission to retrieve Christ’s body.

With this data, comprehend that Christ obeyed the Sabbath even in death, for He remained in His grave until dawn of the first day of the week: Sunday, April 6th of 31AD.  Jesus then arose and was seen by at least 500 people over the next 40 days, after which He ascended to heaven. His ascension would have occurred on or about May (Sivan) 15th, 31AD. In each case of date citation, a Hebrew calendar is used specifically: it is the only calendar to agree Biblically. For instance: the Gregorian fifth month is May, which equates to the Hebrew ninth month of Sivan.

Now compare the two calendars set out below. Note: only religious holidays are included with each month appropriate to each calendar. One reflects God’s specific holidays for His people while the Gregorian reflects specific holidays pagan yet adopted by Christian professing denominations:

1) Mary conceived Jesus sometime in February 4BC;

2) Jesus was born approximately early to late October 3BC (based on typical days of gestation)

3) Christ began His ministry on or about His 30th birthday, or October 27AD;

4) Jesus was crucified on Friday, April 3rd, 31AD, pronounced dead at approximately 3PM at the age of 33 years and 7 months;

5) At sunset April 4th, 31AD Jesus was placed in a tomb where He remained through Saturday Sabbath, April 5th, 31AD;

6) At dawn on Sunday, April 6th, 31AD Christ arose from the grave and was seen by many people for 40 days;

7) On the 40th day, about May 15th of 31AD Jesus ascended to heaven.

Since the whole Bible is about God, the Hebrews— Judah and Israel— Christ, and adopted Hebrews— pagan Gentiles— then it is most appropriate to discern these dates in accordance with ancient Hebrew calendars. After all, that is the time in which these records were written and events occurred. Biblically, there would have been no other calendar. Realistically? Yes, there were pagan calendars even then, but to use one of those would be to discern God’s Word by the world: instead of spiritually.

Note: Hebrew calendars still are in use today among Orthodox and Christian Jews observing Jewish festivals. It remains the same as it was from the beginning of Creation. Therefore, the Hebrew September is the same September we recognize. It just happens to be the Hebrew’s first month of the year, whereas a Gregorian calendar begins the year with January.

Using a Gregorian calendar to decipher God’s word causes interpretative error and no harmony will be found between scripture and appropriate historical data. For instance, Mary would have conceived in June 4BC, based on a Gregorian calendar, therefore placing Christ’s birth sometime February 3BC. Unfortunately, this would skew all other dates set out above.

After all, Passover is March 30-April 1, according to ancient and modern practices. In using a Gregorian calendar, Jesus never could be placed at the Passover festival leading to His demise. At 31 years and 7 months old at death, it would mean Christ died September 5th of 33AD. The only Jewish festival in September is the Feast of Weeks. The gospels state clearly: Christ and His Apostles shared the Passover meal, then Jesus was arrested early next morning. As El might say: to use a Gregorian calendar is to corrupt clues He provided.

As Christians, adopted into the Jewish family of God, we are subject to the same obedience. This means avoiding anything even slightly resembling evil. Thus, we can eliminate all holidays shown in a Gregorian or other non-Hebrew calendar. As adopted children, we may also eliminate most Jewish ordinance holidays shown in an Hebrew calendar. In fact, the only ordinances Christ commands of Gentiles and Jews are:  1) confession of sins; 2) baptism by water; 3) faith of and belief in Jesus as our Redeemer; 4) obedience to the Father’s Doctrine, the Ten Commandments to include the two Royal Laws of love; 5) baptism of the Holy Ghost— to those who obey. Additionally, 6) work good works as well as use gifts of the Spirit to benefit the brethren; and, 7) perform, as often as we choose, the Lord’s Supper— communion, Passover— to include washing our brethren’s feet as a symbol of service, as opposed to being served: in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice for us. Again, God’s perfect number: SEVEN.

To observe any other holidays, including human birthdays, as well as establishing a counterfeit birthday for Christ, is a wicked example of vanity, idolatry and pagan worship. Whatever excuse we use to justify such behavior is exactly why Jesus said, “You do me lip service and I never knew you.” For example, pagan artifacts used for decoration— i.e. Christmas tree— or observing a pagan holiday— i.e. Christmas and Easter— and dedicating it to the Lord. It is an abomination to Yeshua and is counted as “lip service” heavily couched in pagan idolatry.

One other note, Bethlehem is located in the hilly or mountainous region of Israel. In winter months, beginning in December, temperatures get as low as 42 degrees at night. This is not so for previous months, especially concerning October, which remains very warm. Additionally, the Gospels do not indicate freezing winter with snow on the ground at Christ’s birth—a familiar Christmas scene with which we’ve all grown up. All these little subtleties grouped together cause the world to believe lies and walk after Satan unaware, guilty by virtue of not checking out the facts for self.

Also, consider portraits of Christ rendered by various artists over the centuries. They paint quite a beautiful being and tout Him as quite tall and slender and blue-eyed: which might seem in keeping with the Shroud of Turin. Might such artistic beauty be a contributor to society’s obsession with beauty? Scriptures describe Jesus otherwise. Long before Christ’s birth, He was described as “marred (deformed, ugly) more than any man, small of stature, his body without form; nothing beautiful about him to cause people to follow him; people turned away from looking at his marred, deformed black body and disfigured face; a man of sorrows and grief and pain. Pick up a copy of  TODAY, JESUS SAID by the commentator hereof. One might be quite surprised by what the Bible really reveals compared to what preachers and theologians teach.

The irony of the facts presented hereinabove: Theologians throughout the ages always have maintained that Christ was born sometime in October. Christians need to ask themselves: Why, then, are we taught that no one knows when Jesus was born? Remember: Yeshua said, One lie renders the whole a lie. If Satan can convince the world of just one lie, he has succeeded in achieving our damnation— IF we ourselves do not investigate God’s Word personally. Would you obey the laws of man or the laws of God? Surely, we ought to obey God.

Before we leave this chapter, however, let us read what Christmas and Easter really are and why they insult the Lord and are an abomination to Him. Please note: directly above text body of the following page is information indicating from where its data was retrieved. It is cited separate from this page in order to avoid any appearance of agreeing with its contents: rather, pointing out that pagan rituals are alive and well and they rejoice that professing Christians share their blasphemous festivals. * * * * *

The Witches Voice presents. . . THE HOLIDAYS OF WITCHCRAFT: OSTARA and YULE, by Peg Aloi

OSTARA – (around March 21st) also know as: Vernal Equinox, Ostara, Alban Eiler, Esther

YOU CALL IT EASTER, WE CALL IT OSTARA – YULE (Winter Solstice, around December 22nd) also known as: Yuletide, Alban Arthan. WINTER SOLSTICE/YULE: (on or about December 22) Yule is the time of greatest darkness and the longest night of the year. The Winter Solstice had been associated with the birth of a “Divine King” long before the rise of Christianity. Since the Sun is considered to represent the Male Divinity in many Pagan Traditions, this time is celebrated as the “return of the Sun God” where he is reborn of the Goddess.

YOU CALL IT CHRISTMAS, WE CALL IT YULE – Christ’s Birthday? or Winter Solstice? The Holly and the Ivy, Did Someone Say “Tree Worship?”

* * * * * How can true Christians observe these or any holidays while claiming honor to God and Jesus Christ? It is an abomination to our Father Creator. In His mind it is unacceptable to place our ONE TRUE GOD within the framework of false gods. This is exactly what Jesus meant by flattering lips and creating images of God after corruptible men: this and much more. Warning! He declared of those who do such things, “I do not know you.” Even the Christmas tree is of pagan origin and well described in:

* * * * *  Jeremiah 10:2-4,~5,8—Thus saith the Lord, learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne [carried], because they cannot go [by themselves]. But they [the heathen] are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities [idolatry]. * * * * *

Several years ago, the youth minister of a Sabbath keeping church spoke of a personal experience on his job. It was nearing Christmas and one employee— most verbal about her Wiccan membership and Druid ties and very much aware of the youth minister’s Christian beliefs— asked him: “If you believe in God and in Christ, then why do you celebrate our festivals?”

Now, she assumed he did so because, like all the other employees, he did not work on those days. Of course, hers was an erroneous assumption. How could he work if the company was closed and locked up for the holidays? Fortunately, our youth minister was able to reply, “I don’t celebrate any pagan festivals: including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter or personal birthdays, nor do I honor any man.”

Thanksgiving? Yes, its origins are Celtic: originally an eight-day festival in honor of their harvest gods and brought to the United States by the first settlers. Nevertheless, our youth minister was ONE witness in God’s favour. Sadly, many of us might work with Wiccan and Druid followers unaware. Thus, it is by what we say and/or do that we witness for or against God to those practicing witchcraft.

Also several years ago, a well-known actress serving a short stint as a talk show host presented a program for Halloween: her guests a man and woman, both of whom were proud Wiccan members. Near the show’s conclusion, the hostess asked, “What do you think about Christians observing your festivals?” She referenced not only Halloween but Christmas and Easter as well.

The woman responded quickly, “It just proves to me that I’ve chosen the right religion because it’s obviously the world’s oldest religion. Otherwise, Christians would not share our rituals.”

This Wiccan witch revealed a multitude of Christians unwittingly witnessing against God. Alas, unwittingly or wittingly, each are found just as guilty before our Creator Father. As for witchcraft being the oldest religion: I beg to differ. After all, worship of God the Creator began with Adam and Eve. However, the most important question to ask self: “What kind of witness for God and Christ am I, both in word and deed? And, what am I going to do about it?”

A Glorious Invitation ~~ poetic testimony

 A Glorious Invitation

©copyright 2004 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.

I was six at first memory of mother,

although I clearly remember my brother

and, of course, I do recall my loving dad,

a motorcycle cop: a tall, handsome lad.

Oh, but mother was not absent from day one:

family said, she was mentally undone.

Perhaps, being taken to church caused recall;

for it was there I found love reigned without fall,

as they taught us that Jesus loves me and you.

Me! Just a little girl not seen, it was true.

He gives peace, freedom and even more to gain:

in the end, no illness, misery or pain.

He invited me to join Him— at the time,

I think I was just barely the age of nine.

I was excited, my heart even appeased,

as I started for the isle, mother not pleased.

She tried to prevent me, “Too young,” she had said.

Still, I struggled away and rushed on ahead.

Oh, I had many things from Jesus to learn,

to assure that I never, never would burn;

but, I was very young and, many times, fell.

Yet, His Spirit was there for me, quick to tell;

Then, He’d pick me up and say, “Now, do you see?”

Though, never cruelly nor scoffing at me.

I’ve known our Lord, now, almost fifty-six years,

through many ups and downs, joys and floods of tears;

in some way broke every law He gave us.

Still, Jesus stood by, all without a big fuss.

Ah but, He corrected me, yes He sure did!

Until finally, I learned to do His bid.

There was one time I felt so very alone;

He gently cradled me, His voice soothing tones.

Another time, I overdosed on pain pills:

I was tired and wanted free of earth’s ills.

He was fierce, when in the hospital I woke.

“YOU’VE THINGS YET TO DO!” His voice boomed when He spoke.

Finally, I pray, I learned His lessons well;

then, our Lord gave me gifts, I am here to tell!

Now each day in my mission jobs I labour,

gladly doing for my beloved Saviour.

He said, “Seek me early and ye shall find me.”

If you haven’t sought Him, He’s calling to thee.

Armageddon ~~ God’s Truth

excerpt Bind Up the Testimony, Seal the Law

TSaS QUESTION: The final battle between good and evil will be fought where and when?

Theologians and pastors purport the “where” as being at Armageddon, a Canaan plains area of the ancient city Megiddo, about 60-70 miles north of Jerusalem on the banks of Kishon River near Mt. Tabor and the Sea of Galilee: the former domain of the Hebrew tribe Issachar. These so called Biblical experts further and rather vaguely claim that it will occur “when” Christ returns. Their answers are based solely on one scripture found in Revelation and believed by most Christians: mainly because this erroneous interpretation is offered by the “tutored.” Remember: Jesus said, “Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings (untutored) is praise (truth) perfected.”

Having cited man’s elucidation, and without including extensively researched historical data or paraphrasing scriptures, this rendering offers Almighty God’s definitive answer regarding both man’s view as well as Ishi’s own absolutes. FYI: Ishi is the name by which God will be called in the restored earth. It is Hebrew for husband. Please bear in mind that, contrary to the above version, many books of the entire Bible actually interpret this particular prophecy, thus not all references are provided below.

Truth Seekers and Speakers is all about allowing the Bible to interpret itself, TSaS often providing applicable historical data only as required for clarity. Note: neither Revelation nor any other book of the Bible is necessarily written chronologically, as Theologians and pastors tout. This tidbit as well as studying the Bible according to God’s prescribed manner are vitally important in allowing God to interpret His own Word, to-wit: Bible interpreting the Bible. Members might want to take another look at the response to “How, Why and Who to Trust” recently posted. Two helpful hints: 1) rightly divide the Word; and 2) “What was in the beginning is today, what is today will be tomorrow, and what is tomorrow was in the beginning.”~~ the great preacher of Ecclesiastes

While Rev. c16 is factual, it does not remedy our question but rather refers to time of redemption, which is twice different from the final battle— the utter destruction of evil and cleansing of the earth with purging fire. It should be noted that in no way does this passage or any book of the Bible state that the battle WILL occur at the time and place of the Rev. c16 gathering, to-wit: Armageddon. It merely shows us that the assembling takes place at Armageddon for the battle of “that great day of the Lord.” This day refers only to Christ’s return.

FYI: “As it is on earth, so it is in heaven:” In earthly murder trials, following a preponderance of evidence, a judgment then is rendered of either innocent or guilty, at which time the innocent immediately are set free. Yet, another hearing is conducted to determine actual penalty sentencing on guilty verdicts— for our purposes, death. However, death sentences never are executed simultaneous to sentencing or even shortly thereafter. And, so it is with God’s court of law.

Mankind’s trial began in 1844, when God’s hidden truths were revealed to the world, the evidence noting obedience or disobedience, during which time all people were given opportunity to accept Elohim’s truths by demonstration of obedience or to remain in disobedience, each generation judged accordingly. Final judgment was reached in 1991, which also opened the last church age of Laodecia— an era Jesus said will be remarkably short in comparison to the previous six church periods.

Christ’s return metaphorically represents the second hearing for sentencing, thus he arrives with the announcement: whether it be life eternal as evidenced by meeting Him in the air, or whether it be death as evidenced by being left behind dead of a first death— which sentence is of a second death for all those not found in the Book of Life, to be carried out at a later date. There is an incredible volume of scripture to validate this premise, thus it begs a question: What really happens the day and hour Christ comes in the clouds? Perhaps a TSaS member would like to post the inquiry? In the interim, an explanation of the answer follows:

Revelation 16:12-14,16 ~~ These 4 verses are disrupted by v.15. Nevertheless, the 4 go together to reveal Lucifer gathering his angels and human minions for what he teaches is the coming final battle with God over the dominion of mankind, earth and heavens. And, it is Lucifer who has determined that the battle will be waged at Armageddon, which timing of the assembling may be recognized in Luke 21:20 (consider Feb. 1991 Desert Storm— the Holy Lands remain surrounded by the worlds armies to this day). It behooves us to avoid a perception of God calling them either to battle or to this specific location: Holy Lands in general. Other scripture will disprove such a premise. V.14 refers to “that great day of God Almighty”, DAY being an announcement clue for Christ’s living flocks hoping for His quick arrival. Other verses will show that the “spirits of devils” gather together untimely and in error. (Isaiah 9:5; 54:15-16)

Revelation 16:15,17-21— Continuing from above, v.15 is inserted amidst Lucifer’s assembling merely as an announcement advising Christ’s children that by this marshalling of kings (world’s armies) they are to understand Jesus is about to “come in the clouds to take up His flock to meet Him in the air”.  (see also: Matthew 24:30-31,36; Luke 21:20)— Revelation v.17,20-21 pick back up with events that will occur at Christ’s coming and the devastation following in His wake as He takes up his sheep. This reveals that of the last seven plagues, the seventh vial is poured out behind Jesus as He moves across the skies reaping His harvest. (Genesis 1:2; Isaiah 24:1-5,20-22; 34:2-3; Jeremiah 26:32-33; Matthew 13:41-42,49-50; Psalm 37:10,38; 110:5-6; II Thessalonians 1:7-10)

Special note should be made on v.19: Babylon (the great mother whore) was divided into 3 false prophet divisions centuries ago, so the first line of v.19 serves to identify Great Babylon— her divisions being pagan, papal, protestant. Here, God simply wants us to know that He has not forgotten their abominations and the affect they have had on His sheep, for which the three are now being rewarded with suffering and later will be re-rewarded with utter destruction! The passage then flashes back to a scene of destruction falling upon old earth as up ahead Christ’s sheep are being redeemed from both grave and among the living: the elect.

God’s interpretation to our question, Revelation 20:1-9,12-15

The entire chapter speaks exclusively of Christ taking up His sheep followed by the metaphorical chaining/imprisoning of Lucifer: the literal, in this case, being that he is left alive on a desolate earth populated with dead humans and from which he cannot escape for the duration of our gift received of a 1000 years in heaven. Fitting first retribution for Satan having persecuted humans for 6000 years.

The chain symbolizes Beelzebub’s inability to ever enter heaven again, which originally was established in Rev. 12:8-9 and which occurred in about 538BC. Here we simply are reminded that Lucifer does not have the power to leave earth. Genesis 1:2, and other passages, clarify that “bottomless pit” means an earth void of life. Only the first part of Rev. 20:10 applies to this time frame, whereas the remainder is a flashback to events having occurred at redemption; thus, “tormented day and night for ever and ever” relates to the 1000 years seemingly like forever to those so tormented.

Then we are shown what happens at the close of the 1000 years we’ve spent in heaven with Christ. The wicked dead are resurrected— see also Rev. 14:17-18, grapes represent the wicked— and Lucifer immediately deceives them for three months— a season— into believing God still can be defeated. Really stupid, isn’t he? Satan then gathers them around old Jerusalem, because that’s where Christ and His saintly warriors are camped upon their return from heaven. So, in effect God now has called the time and place for that final battle; which will be no battle at all, according to Isaiah’s citations regarding this event. But, of the location God is even more specific, which should lend clarity.

Joel 3:11-15— The valley of Jehoshaphat, valley of decision/judgment, to-wit: where sentencing of old was carried out— today called Kidron Valley. Interestingly, the valley of Jehoshaphat (Kidron) lies east of Mt. Zion and west of Jerusalem. The valley is directly outside Jerusalem’s east portal called Dung Gate, the only gate through which garbage and human waste were to be removed from the ancient city. And, it is that same valley in which God historically executed first death sentencing upon those persistent in disobeying Him and/or for having harmed His chosen people.

Joel confirms this location for the final destruction of all that is evil, filthy and wicked, inasmuch as v.17-18 follow the sentencing execution with a description of new Jerusalem as set out in Revelation 21:1-6. It is only after the complete purging of evil that a New Jerusalem (Psalm 37:20), wherein God and Jesus ARE the temple, comes down out of heaven and Christ’s saints at last inherit a newly restored earth. (Isaiah 26:14)

So now we have God’s opinion. Where~~ Valley of Jehoshaphat; When: following the sheep’s’ 1000 years reign in heaven with Christ. Of course, that 1000 years just might foster another question: “Why a 1000 years? Why not just do it all when Christ returns?” The answer also is given in God’s Holy Word: that 1000 years is earth’s Sabbath rest, during which time she shall lie fallow— unable to support life— because mankind “did not give earth her Sabbath rests of every seven years,” as God had ordered. For each day of a week, earth was given 1000 years. Thus, she was to labor for 6000 years, then have her Sabbath rest the seventh 1000 years. 6000 years has essentially expired.

Nonetheless, an incredible logic and absolute justice is found in God’s Word unblemished by mankind, undeniably better than any penalty humans could devise. What better punishment than to have Satan left on a dead world littered with rotting, stinking bodies from one end of earth to the other as well as the unopened graves of his previously deceased followers: all for 1000 years of “weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.” No one to torment, no one to tempt, no one to torture, no one to follow him, no one to do his biding… no one at all, not even his fallen angelic army. How awful that will have to be for Beelzebub, who has been so busy for 6000 years. (Obadiah v.3-4; Amos 4:10)

Our courts should do as well by eliminating death sentences, for how much better than that a murderer should have to live in confinement all his/her natural years while living with why they are there. In the end, what better place to destroy all evil garbage than outside Jerusalem’s Dung Gate in the valley of judgment: where God roars out of Mt. Zion utterly purging evil by all consuming fire. Then, and only then, does He restore earth as Eden: where we dwell forever in the Lord’s magnificent light! Praise the Lord!

What Defiles the Flesh Temple

 What Defiles the Flesh Temple

excerpt Truth Gathering, Vol. II ©copyright 2003, not yet available

In Matthew 15:16-20 AKJV, Jesus said, “Are ye also yet without understanding? Do not ye yet understand that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: these are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.”

Defile: v.t. [Defiled, Defiling], [ME. defoulen; Ofr. defouler, to tread underfoot, insult; influenced by ME. filen, to foul < AS. fylan, to make foul <ful, foul], 1. to make filthy; dirty; pollute. 2. to make ceremonially unclean. 3. to corrupt. 4. to profane; sully, as a person’s name. 5. [Archaic], to violate the chastity of; deflower. —SYN. see contaminate. —Webster’s New World Dictionary, College Edition ©1962

Based on the above scripture, an alcoholic might think it acceptable to God to be a drunkard; however, I Corinthians 5:11 and 6:10 state clearly that a drunkard will not enter heaven’s gates. Why? After all, a drunkard drinks alcohol and later it leaves the body, as Jesus seems to say and as man’s modern medicine assumes.

Alcohol, and drugs for that matter, taken in excess alter a consumer’s mind and behaviour, which gives Satan free reign to ultimately cause him or her to say and do things they might not otherwise do and/or say; abominable behaviours to our Father. One case in fact, a drunk uncle molested his five-year old niece and remembered doing it. He was so devastated by his actions that he neither drank nor did such a thing again.

Therefore, a drunkard is not defiled by the alcohol he or she consumes; rather, he or she is defiled by what alcohol or drugs can cause him or her to do and/or say while under excessive influence: whether the drinker remembers such things or not, he or she is nonetheless defiled. Albeit, heard is the term “dry drunk,” which refers to a person’s behaviour when sober. This means that, although sober, the person’s behaviour still mimics someone still drinking. This is due to the fact alcohol and drugs accumulate in the body’s system, as opposed to actually leaving the body. Couple this with emotional deficiencies that led to a person’s excessive drinking in the first place, which obviously were not addressed and resolved after the person stopped drinking.

The only way to truly eliminate alcohol and drugs from the body’s system is to go through a colon cleanse program designed to draw these toxins from the body in a safe manner. Then, follow up with counseling to address and resolve emotional issues that led to drinking and/or doing drugs in the first place: Christian counseling, for total healing does not come without God being part of the healing equation. He is the great physician and great psychiatrist.

I Samuel 16:7 tells us what God sees, “But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”

A former alcoholic wisely observed, “As Jesus explained in Matthew, it is what comes out of our hearts that shows whether or not we have defiled our flesh temples. For example, the alcoholic’s heart has submitted its life to the god of alcohol. Nothing is more important to him or her than where, when, and how he or she is going to get that next drink. The temple is defiled but the heart was defiled first. That is why alcoholism is in truth a sin, not a disease.” ~quoted by permission

Of Christ’s list of things that defile our flesh temples, the only one unforgivable is blasphemy; which sin has been fully covered in a previous Sabbath lesson (see What is Blasphemy): still, we need to be aware that Jesus did not cite everything that defiles our flesh temples, having used only a few examples to make His point; those examples point directly to God’s Precepts cited as standing perpetual, forever. Revelation 9:20-21 adds worshiping devils, having idols of wealth and things, as well as sorceries to the list; the latter is the adding pagan rituals to those of God’s and claiming He allows it.

Revelation 21:8 also adds to this defiling list those with fears, unbelievers, abominable acts, whoremongers and liars. Verse 27 goes on to say that anyone who has committed any of these defiling acts and has not repented of them, save unforgivable blasphemy, will never enter heaven’s gates. Rather, unrepentant defilers are reserved for the second resurrection followed by utter destruction.

The above list of defiling behaviours literally covers all twelve of God’s Precept Law, which includes the two laws of Love and the first four Commandments— the four concerning our relationship with God— and the final six regarding our relationship with mankind. Obviously, if a person is disobedient in even one of God’s Statutes of Life, and it does not matter which one, he or she remains defiled thus will not be redeemed when Christ returns. If we truly love God and mankind, we cannot violate the Ten: we haven’t the heart to break any one of the Ten depending on love to obey. After all, true love for God and our neighbors comes from having “the mind of Christ:” He loved and obeyed.

Throughout the Bible, we are given many examples of how the Jewish people defiled both themselves and God’s Word as well as His Law. We’ve been shown that they defiled the temple building in both the Old and New Testaments, defiled God’s Sabbath, defiled God’s Law, defiled themselves with unbelievers, and so forth. We even find where God said that spilling blood defiles the land; therefore, the one who spills blood is defiled.

I Corinthians 6:18-19 clearly states, “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is [outside] the body; but he that committeth fornication [defiles] his own body. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” The acts of fornication and adultery are essentially the same sin: both are sexual acts outside the sanctity of marriage; fornication is a sexual act without benefit of marriage, while adultery is a sexual act with a person to whom one is not married yet one or both parties are married to others.

All of these Jewish examples were given that the Gentiles, when offered salvation, might not commit the same abominations; yet, in every Christian denomination, which represent religion instead of Christianity, the same evidences of defiling in one or more ways are found: teaching lies in God’s name; observing pagan holidays and rituals; observing a day that God did not sanctify as His and Christ’s Sabbath or, if they do observe God’s true Sabbath, many violate it in various ways; as well as the use of idolatrous icons; and, promoting worldly prosperity.

Additionally, they fail to make sure their flocks are equal in all things; fail to feed the hungry and clothe the naked and house the homeless; approve divorce by twisting God’s Word and some approve multiple wives and/or multiple husbands (polygamy) thereby approving adultery and fornication: these latter are compared to the Nicolaitans in Revelation 2:6, whom history reveals were known for their claim to Christianity yet allowed men and women to have multiple spouses and taught that sex outside marriage was a normal bodily function: in other words, they allowed adultery and fornication in God’s name. Sounds like today’s “I Society”©, Mormonism and some pagan religions.

The list of abominations goes on. One has only to read the Bible to learn what defiles us versus what purifies, that we may enter heaven’s gates. We are clearly shown in Revelation 22:14 who will enter heaven, and New Jerusalem later, with Christ: “Blessed are they that do [God’s] Commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates of the City.” Obedience purifies.

The above is just one of many scriptures belying the teaching that we are dead to God’s Law, those teachers having twisted one or two scriptures actually referring to sacrificial and oblation ordinances— temporary laws representing the shadow of better to come— as opposed to the Statutes of Life. By obedience to the Precepts, we are dead only to the condemnation of the Law, to-wit: the penalty for violation being twice dead, which is to be utterly destroyed.

Many will say that all it takes is love then refer to the two Laws of Love recited by Jesus: the key word being recited. Unfortunately, denominational leaders fail to teach that God first spoke those two laws in the Old Testament: several times, in fact. Therefore, couple the above verse with I John 5:2-3— “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we obey His Commandments: and His Commandments are not grievous [burdensome].”

II John v.6, 9 declares, “And this is love, that we walk after His Commandments. This is the Commandment, as ye have heard from the beginning (Exodus c.20), That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. Whosoever transgresseth (sins), and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” This is logic, for Christ came teaching nothing new; rather, He lived and taught His Father’s original Doctrine as given in the beginning and expects us to do the same: IF, in fact, we choose to follow in Christ’s steps.

To violate any one of God’s Statutes is to defile the flesh temple. To commit sin also proves to the Holy Spirit that such person does not “fear God:” respect, honor, love thus obey God. And, in so doing, the person fails to receive anointing of the Holy Spirit. According to John 14:26, the Holy Spirit will teach and guide in the beginning one who has been called.

What a person does with those teachings determines whether or not he or she receives anointing; which explains Christ’s statement in Matthew 20:16 and 22:14, “Many are called, few are chosen;” confirms the small numbers of sheep in comparison to the great numbers of goats. Acts 5:32 confirms when chosen status is achieved, “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.” Obedience must occur before Holy Spirit baptism will happen.

It is the spiritual anointing with gifts of the Spirit that declares us chosen, therefore redemption assured and irreversible (see lesson Grace: Times Seven). Prior to anointing, salvation is not assured and the Call might be withdrawn: based wholly on our choice between obeying God or obeying man (Acts 5:29). Without anointing, one is in danger of falling from grace; which is to lose the call to salvation, therefore never being chosen.

As III John v.11 states, “Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.” Transgressing God’s Doctrine deems a person “wicked, evil, filthy;” and it is these things for which each person must repent, then “go and sin no more.” To sin again, knowing it is a sin in God’s eyes, puts a person in the position of Hebrews 10:26-27, “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the Truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries [God haters].”

Hebrews 10, above, is supported by Romans 3:25, “[Christ] whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are PAST, through the forbearance of God.” Future sins that will be forgiven are those we commit in ignorance, not yet having learned the “weightier matters of the Law.” As those are learned, a called one is expected to confess and repent and sin no more. If the called does not confess and repent, the Call will be withdrawn.

Jude v.10 reveals what the above list does to one’s behaviour, whether they claim to be Christian or not, “But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.” They are recognized as persecuting and falsely accusing those who do speak God’s Truth, and they teach man’s smooth words while claiming it is God’s Truth; which is to speak evil of God’s Truth. All the lies spewed from pulpits would more than fill a book.

Anyone teaching and/or living those lies are acts of obedience to man thus defiled and causing others to defile their flesh temple. God first stated, and Jesus reiterated, how to recognize Truth teachers and speakers in Isaiah 8:16,20 and Matthew 5:18-19, both paraphrased: “Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. To the Law and the testimony they speak, because there is light in them . . . Whosoever shall do and teach the Law shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

As Revelation pointed out, anything that defiles will not enter the Kingdom gates when the time comes. Sadly, the time comes quickly and few heed the warnings. Rather, they argue God’s Word and make issue over a play of words, clearly not understanding the very formation of God’s statements rightly divided with all of His relative verses from throughout the Bible.

As II Timothy 3:1-7 states, “They are ever learning but never coming to the Truth.” Yes, they are ever looking for at least one or two verses to validate their continuance of sins as being acceptable to God, instead of the evil and filth God calls sins noted in verses 1-6; neither do they acknowledge nor teach that to continue in sin is a death sentence. Satan prepares his own for the day of great slaughter in the end (Psalm 34:21; Isaiah 30:25). These change God into what they want: a god catering to fleshy lusts and riches. They revel in the flesh and adamantly refuse to “die to the flesh.”

In Luke 6:43-45 Jesus defines behaviour from the heart, “For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” The fruits of righteousness, which has nothing to do with numbers.

There are so many more scriptures defining defilement that space does not permit them all. Regardless of this treatise, it is the responsibility of each person to seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance into God’s Word; for without Him, Satan can mislead by way of the scriptures. It is each individual’s responsibility to seek God’s Truth and to allow God to deny or confirm this writing. If a person truly accepts God and Christ, he or she is changed from the inside out: change begins with the heart.

While our All-knowing God needs proof of nothing, we cannot discern our own hearts therefore must prove our hearts to self and the Holy Spirit, who discerns hearts by our behaviour rather than from infinite knowledge; this latter evidenced in Abraham’s experience of being commanded to sacrifice his only legitimate son in Genesis 22:11-12. The angel of the Lord is the Holy Spirit. Proof of “fearing God” was evidenced by Abraham’s obedience to the Spirit’s command to sacrifice Isaac.

Do not be defiled by living lies, thereby continuing to live in sin. Do not be defiled by refusing to die to the flesh. Man’s smooth words lead to a pit of fire and brimstone. Each person must choose either to obey God or obey man, the former rewarded with everlasting life and the latter rewarded with utter destruction.

There are no gray areas acceptable to either God or Christ. The choice is black or white; it is yes or no; it is life or death. “I put before you life and death; choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19).

Understand why God’s Ten Commandments also are called Law of Righteousness, Statutes of Life and Law of Liberty; understand why scripture further states that, if you obey God’s Law, you will live in them: which statement is made in both the Old and New Testaments (Leviticus 18:5 and Galatians 3:12). A heart loving God and faith in Christ motivates obedience, thus frees us from being rendered twice dead and rewards us with eternal life.

Again This Dawn ~~ spiritual poem

Again This Dawn

©copyright 2005 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.

Another glorious Friday You’ve made, Father,

this Sabbath eve; skies clear and sun warm.

I remembered Your words giving understanding

when again this dawn I woke in tears:

“Thou grieveth, like a mourning dove on the mountain,

for those left in cities filled with fears.

They refused to obey My Word; and, they should have

when ye spoke them to prevent their harm.”

Oh, thank you so much, Lord, for sharing that wisdom,

and more, the one who sought to find me:

she whom I’ve just met though I have never seen her.

She said, “I spoke to God about you;

and, He said to me, ‘She is favored of the Lord.'”

Oh, how merciful to hear this, too;

a soothing balm healing each of my battle wounds;

for soon, Jesus lifts me up to Thee.

Father, this handmaiden is humbled by Your Love,

that You would choose this unworthy Eve,

then bless me with such great responsibility:

to reveal Your mysteries so true,

as well as to teach all Your Law, that some might live.

Oh, how I weep, for there are so few.

Alas, most turn away; others argue Your Word,

contrarily claiming to believe.

In all things, good and bad, I praise my loving God;

praise and give all the glory to You:

for I’m nothing without You, merely pitiful;

yet with You, I am all things and more.

Praise you, Father; Amen in Christ’s name: You are God!

You love me, just for keeping Your score!

And I know I love God, for His Law I obey.

It’s vile to break even one or two.

Blessings in Tithing

Washington, Truth Gathering, Volume II (not yet available) chapter: Blessings In Tithing ©copyright 2003 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C. in response to Truth Seekers and Speakers (TSaS) query: “Is tithing one’s time and/or spending time with the Lord equal to a financial tithe, if a person does not have enough money for tithing?”

The TSaS member question regarding tithes is all too familiar and has been for hundreds of years. Today, it is most common for people to resent paying 10% tithes to various quasi-Christian denominations to which they might belong, and resent being asked for contributions of additional financial gifts to the following funds: building, missionary, school, entertainment, choir, recreation— the list goes on and on.

In this list of funds, however, rarely is found a sufficient account to care for their own followers: if it’s even on the list. Sadly, not one of those endowments fulfills Christ’s church requirements: not one feeds the hungry, clothes the naked or houses the homeless or sees to it that all members are equally financially. Denominations and evangelists are all about show: showing off wealth as an example of truth— despite teaching lies— living in and teaching of the world thus bringing in flocks of goats as an example of fruit— despite fruit being of righteousness, not of numbers. Alas, though they teach of God and Christ, God’s power is not with them.

This is especially daunting to those with low incomes forced to survive in an economy where even basic living expenses are more than they can afford. Why? Because when he or she does need help, these same denominations and/or evangelists are not coming through for their own members and followers; yet, they build mega-million dollar buildings expensively furnished, and their leaders live well. Evangelists live in mansions behind guarded gates, drive expensive cars, wear designer clothes, hobnob with celebrities, and take expensive vacations. Don’t look to them for help: they stuck their hand out first and expect you to fill it with greenbacks.

Most even go so far as to teach that, in order to gain wealth, we MUST pay them more than tithes: they speak the adage that it takes money to make money. Frequently, we hear leaders promise, “Pledge $1,000 today! The Lord gave me a revelation! He promises to make you millionaires within 90 days, if you send in $1,000 now.” Then, they read letters from people they claim sent in the money and are now millionaires— as proof of their revelation’s validity.

The only god known to man, and Yeshua, who promises gold in the here and now is Lucifer; and, temporarily, the riches of this world are his to give as he pleases: except, he’s no god at all, merely a fallen angel. Worse, his coin bears a mint nobody should want in their hand: muchless impressed upon their forehead. We should keep in mind the scripture, “It is no surprise that Satan can manifest himself as an angel of light, and so can his ministers.”

Even worse, these so-called Christian leaders consistently accuse a person’s lack of financial success as being the failure of the very poor upon whom they prey. And, to add insult to injury, if he or she rendered a $1,000 in desperation— and a belief that a man of God wouldn’t lie about such things— but didn’t become a millionaire as promised: why, then it’s because he or she didn’t believe God! It’s never about those lying con-men of a con-god. A catch twenty-two if ever there were one.

The saddest thing of all is that those same leaders will shout a codicil to their plea for these hundreds to 1,000-dollar requests: “Everybody says we’re just here to take your money. That we’ve always got our hand out. Well, let me tell you, WE—aren’t—taking—your—money. We are trying to GIVE you money…from God!” Are there truly that many gullible, desperate people in the world today? Are there really that many who don’t know the Bible well enough to recognize false prophets? Obviously. After all, these evangelists and denominations wax richer and richer while most of their followers barely scrape by.

Is it any wonder people are looking for ways to justify not paying tithes? God and His requirements have been so maligned. In reality, everything we have and every penny we bring in and/or receive by whatsoever manner belongs to God; however, He asks for only 10% of our take-home income in return. Although, it is seriously doubted that He really wants it to line the pockets of those swindlers just mentioned. And, it’s a whole lot better deal than our own government gives us at tax time: 25 to 50% taxation.

Still, the question: does our time given to others and time spent with God count toward tithe, if we don’t have the financial resources to pay tithes? The short answer is N—O, no. There is no doubt we should use our time to assist others with whatever help he or she might need; and, we should spend some time with the Lord every day as well as devote His Sabbath exclusively to Him. Doing these things is required of Christ’s sheep; but, it does not negate our financial responsibility to Yeshua’s church (the sheep): to fulfill our responsibility to Him. As Christ said, “To do these things for the least among you, is to do it unto me.” It is a matter of trusting God and Christ.

If Adonai provides a job at which a person earns a wage, then ten per cent of his or her net pay— that is, take home pay— plus any other monies made, or received by whatsoever means, belong to Elohim. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Thus, if a person takes home $250 per week after taxes and receives another $50 as a gift or for doing odd jobs here and there, then $30 belongs to El Elyon.

If we believe the $270 left over isn’t enough, then we don’t believe God will take care of our basic needs: which is to imply that God is a liar. The key word is: BELIEVE. If our expenses exceed basic needs, then we screwed up financially and were not good stewards of what God has given us: it is not the fault of Ishi.

Nevertheless, it still belongs to El and promptly should be paid. Besides, it gives Him an opportunity to prove His Word to the one who faithfully tithes and gives gifts of cash. We must remind ourselves of the widow’s penny: it was all she had and that penny meant more to God than the tithes others easily paid with a lot of cash left over. They should have been helping her, but they weren’t.

Most people are surprised to learn that this writer pays tithe plus more in cash gifts, yet lives on a small social security disability income considered 65% below poverty level. There are two excuses in their minds as to why I shouldn’t be paying tithes and gifts: 1) income below poverty level; and, 2) it is social security into which I paid over the years from out of my earned wages.

In response to the latter and my financial background perspective: Yes, I paid into Social Security, which reaps the benefits I receive today; however, at the time those benefits were deducted from my salary, I did not pay tithes on that amount: because, it was not in my take-home pay. I receive it back today, therefore tithe is due today on the monthly amount I receive.

With regard to argument #1, no scripture exists that says tithes are due ONLY if we earn over a certain amount of money: in this case, over poverty level. What the Lord blesses me with is the amount on which I owe tithes.

As God promised, I never go without and never run out of money. I might have only a few coins at the end of any month, but I’m not out of money! I made it a point to have no debts, other than normal living expenses of rent, utilities, food, gas, car insurance. I drive a 1977 Pontiac. Old Maggie doesn’t look real great but she runs like a dream and gets me from point A to B and back again: short distance or long distance, doesn’t matter to her. This is to live within one’s means and to be satisfied with only the basics. And, any time Maggie has needed repairs of some sort or tires or simple service, God has seen to it I had the money to maintain this ancient car with only a little over 102,000 actual miles on it.

But, to whom do I pay tithe and gifts? This presents a dilemma for most. To whom do we pay tithe? We must not give it to denominations or evangelists who don’t fulfill Christ’s requirements for His true church and do not teach ALL of God’s Truth. So, where does it go? In a bank to earn interest until Christ returns? Like God really needs the interest. He owns everything in the universe!

Not long ago a scriptural response describing Christ’s church was provided, wherein it states that every member should be equal in all things. Therefore he who has much will have nothing left over and he who has little will lack nothing. Everyone pools his or her resources, then distributes the money as each member has need: “Bring all that you have into My storehouse.” This isn’t happening anywhere! Alas, there is not such a denomination to which to pay our tithes.

Not so! WE—THE PEOPLE—ARE THE CHURCH. I took literally Christ’s command: feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and house the homeless. I’ve made it a practice to provide God’s money to individuals with genuine needs: a person or persons who are doing everything they can but still can’t make it through no fault of their own. This tithe and extra gifts— or anything I have, for that matter— are not mine to begin with, so each comes out of my account first thing: I never miss it, because I don’t count on it.

In my mind, I have 10% plus cash gifts less coming in each month. But, my tithes plus cash gifts will put food on someone’s table or a warm coat on their back or shoes on their child or pay a portion of rent or, perhaps, a utility. WE are to care for one another: our brothers and sisters in Christ. This won’t happen if we look to organized religions.

Now that righteous anger over today’s so-called Christendom has been expressed, let’s take a look at Webster’s New World Dictionary, Collegiate Edition, on the word TITHE, followed by God’s Word relative to the tithe issue:

TITHE: n. 1. one tenth of the annual produce of one’s land, etc., or its equivalent in money, paid as a tax to support the church (people) or the clergy. 2. one tenth part or any small part. TITHING: n. 1. a levying or paying of tithes

As most US citizens are aware, if we fail to pay income taxes timely, our government will add exorbitant penalty fees PLUS late charges. And, if that doesn’t motivate us to pay Uncle Sam, then imprisonment follows. As we enter into God’s Holy Word, it will be discovered that He, too, adds a penalty fee if a person fails to pay their tithe timely: albeit, He does not add late charges or threaten imprisonment. Although, He does render a curse upon the debtor. This is another example of how mankind’s government resembles God’s government: the remarkable difference being that God is not greedy and requires considerably less of us than do earth’s ruling bodies.

Yeshua never wanted earthly kings and worldly governments; but, the people insisted on having both. He allowed it so we might learn that His ways are far more just and easier to follow than mankind’s, more rewarding in the here and now and through eternity: but, not before telling us just what kind of kings these men would be, as noted in Samuel below. Text in BOLD CAPS denotes the core message for this lesson on tithing. AKJV Bible:

(Genesis 28:22) And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of ALL THAT THOU SHALT GIVE ME I will surely GIVE THE TENTH UNTO THEE.

(Exodus 20:8-11) Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days THE LORD MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH, THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IN THEM IS, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it [made it holy]. {God’s reason for requiring what He requires of us}

(Leviticus 27:30-32) And ALL TITHE of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the Fruit of the tree, IS THE LORD’S: IT IS HOLY UNTO THE LORD. And IF A MAN will at all redeem [PAYS] aught [ZERO] of his TITHES, HE SHALL ADD THERETO THE FIFTH PART THEREOF [add 5% to that which he owes the Lord].

(Numbers 18:26) Thus speak unto the Levites [PRIESTS, PASTORS, PREACHERS, EVANGELISTS], and say unto them, WHEN YE TAKE of THE CHILDREN of Israel the TITHES WHICH I HAVE GIVEN YOU FROM THEM for your inheritance, then YE SHALL OFFER up an heave offering of it for the Lord, even A TENTH part OF THE TITHE. {How many religious leaders pay tithes on the tithes paid to them?}

(Deuteronomy 14:22) Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase [net] of thy seed [income], that the field bringeth forth year by year [so you will continue to earn year by year].

(I Samuel 8:10-18) And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king. And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear [plow] his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.

And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.

And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; that we also may be like all the [heathen] nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.

{Isn’t this interesting? The Lord warned us that worldly rulers would have only their own best interests at heart. And, is it not true that government leaders around the world never do without, live exceedingly well? Indeed, they do far better than the people over whom they reign. What God told us here is that worldly governments will take the best we have, leaving only crumbs for us to get by on. “Power corrupts.” And, look at these kings’ judgments. Ack! With enough money, the guilty go free and, for lack of funds, the innocent are imprisoned. And, finally, our young die at the whims of war initiated by world powers. Is not this nation, even the world, crying out for financial relief? This cry will not be heard; but, our cry for salvation and redemption will be heard.}

(Malachi 3:8-9) Will a man rob God? Yet YE HAVE ROBBED ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? IN TITHES AND OFFERINGS. YE ARE CURSED with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. BRING YE all THE TITHES into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, AND prove me [TEST MY WORD] now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I WILL not open you the windows of heaven, and POUR YOU OUT A BLESSING, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

{And, now we see that paying our tithes not only validates our trust and faith in God but also is our test of His promise to bless us in paying those tithes. However, to pay tithes simply to test Yeshua is wicked. The tithes must be given: 1) because we love Adonai; 2) because He said to do it; 3) because we believe everything He says; and, 4) because everything is His in the first place; therefore, 5) we owe it to Him; 6) because we trust His Word; and finally, 7) to test His Word. This is the only circumstance in the Bible where we are invited to test God’s Word: thus, this is not to tempt Him, as other requests might be considered.}

(Matthew 19:21,23-24; Mark 10:21) Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and GIVE TO THE POOR, AND thou shalt HAVE TREASURE IN HEAVEN: and come and follow me. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

(Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin [tithes paid to them by the people], and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and NOT TO LEAVE the other [PAYING TITHE] UNDONE.

(Luke 6:30-31,35-36) GIVE TO EVERY MAN THAT ASKETH OF THEE; and of him that taketh away thy goods [because you cannot pay] ask them not again [for help]. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. Love ye your enemies, and do good, and LEND, HOPING FOR NOTHING again [IN RETURN]; AND YOUR REWARD SHALL BE GREAT, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

(Luke 20:25) And he said unto them, RENDER therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and UNTO GOD THE THINGS WHICH BE GOD’S.

(Acts 2:41-42,44-47; 4:34) excerpted phrases denoting Christ’s true church)

They that gladly received God’s word were baptized. And they continued stedfastly in the doctrine and fellowship, and shared meals and prayers. And ALL THAT BELIEVED WERE TOGETHER, AND HAD ALL THINGS EQUAL; and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and eating together from house to house, did eat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. NEITHER WAS THERE ANY AMONG THEM THAT LACKED: for possessors of excess lands or houses sold them, and distribution was made to every man according as he had need.

(Acts 20:35) I have shewed YOU all things, how that so labouring [WORKING] ye OUGHT TO SUPPORT THE WEAK, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE than to receive.

(Romans 12:20-21) Therefore IF THINE ENEMY HUNGER, FEED HIM; IF HE THIRST, GIVE HIM DRINK: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

(Romans 13:8) OWE NO MAN ANY THING, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

(II Corinthians 8:13-15) For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: but by an EQUALITY, THAT NOW AT THIS TIME YOUR ABUNDANCE MAY BE A SUPPLY FOR THEIR WANT, THAT THEIR ABUNDANCE ALSO MAY BE A SUPPLY FOR YOUR WANT: THAT THERE MAY BE EQUALITY: as it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

(Hebrews 7:1-3) For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all [he had taken from defeated kings]; [Melchisedec] first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; without father, without mother, without descent [genealogical history], having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

{Hebrews enlightens us to pay tithes to Christ’s clergy as Abraham had paid tithes of all his increase to Melchisedec: first, the King of righteousness, then King of Salem— like the Son of God. Today, Christ’s clergy ARE NOT leaders of Christian appearing denominations or non-denominational evangelists, as noted in Matthew and Luke: rather, Christ’s leaders are only those who “speak only God’s testimony and teach only His laws, because there is light in them.” These have been “taught by no man,” to-wit: in man’s seminaries. Denominational Christianity does not do these things, for they teach man’s smooth yet forbidden doctrine and traditions: rather, they take and never give freely. They simply hold out their hand for more and more.}

SUMMARY— TITHE TIMES SEVEN: God’s perfect number, praise the Lord!

 1. TITHE is HOLY to the Lord (Leviticus 27:30-32)

2. LAYMEN PAY 10% tithe on all God gives them (Deuteronomy 14:22)

3. CLERGYMEN PAY 10% tithe of all God gives them (Numbers 18:26)

4. FAILURE TO PAY all or if paying only partial, ADD 5% PENALTY fee (Leviticus 27:30-32)

5. FAILURE TO PAY TITHE IS A SIN reaping a curse: it is to rob God (Malachi 3:8-9)

6. PAY TITHE, FOR EVERYTHING IS GOD’S in the first place (Exodus 20:8-11)

7. PAY TO TEST GOD’S PROMISE and receiving blessings (Malachi 3:8-9)

Neither our time nor any gift given to us of the Spirit eliminates our obligation to pay tithes on all monies we receive: whether in wages and/or gifts, all is considered an increase of which 10% belongs to El Shaddai. Additionally, our time and gifts also are required us. It’s not a matter of one or the other.

If we use the excuse of not being able to afford to pay tithe, then we demonstrate a lack of belief, a lack of trust, and in so doing commit a sin vowed to bring a curse down upon us. God promises He will see that our basic needs are met; so, paying tithe also gives Him opportunity to demonstrate the strength of His Word.

El also promises blessings to those who do pay their tithes and which is another opportunity for Him to prove His Word. Contrary to popular teachings that the more you give financially the more you will reap financially, El’s blessings are not necessarily in the form of earthly wealth. As Jesus said, the poor always will be among us: which explains why, despite paying tithes, a person might not increase financially. Everything is as it should be.

The other important aspect of paying tithes is that we are NOT to pay them to those outside Christ’s true church; in other words, we do not render tithes to unbelievers or to those not teaching ALL God’s Truth in accordance with Isaiah 8:16,20, paraphrased— “Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples: who speak only my testimony and teach my law; for there is light in them.” We must remember: God’s Word was not written to the world-at-large: it is written to His people and only His people.

In conclusion and as an act of faith, pay tithes and reap blessings— or not, and reap the curse of twice dead. To whom should tithes be paid? If God’s Truth is understood and obeyed, it will be recognized in others: those to whom tithes cheerfully should be given as well as to the poor believers; for they always are with us as a test our faith and theirs.

Is the Bible Boring, Untrue and Irrelevant?

Lighted Bible

 Is Christianity boring, untrue and irrelevant? This is a loaded question. Does it refer to denominational Christianity or individual Christianity? It seems the more definitive query should be, “Is the Bible boring, untrue and irrelevant? This, because Christianity is based on the Bible— separate and apart from religious denominations preaching smooth words and teaching that the Bible is difficult to understand, thus a seminary-trained person is required to teach it to us: lies on both counts.

Many people state three things about the Bible: 1) It is boring to read; 2) It was written by men, so it can’t be relied on for absolute truth; and, 3) It is irrelevant to these modern times, things have changed.

Regarding common statement 1— experience dictates that when someone says the Bible is boring, what they really mean is one of two things: 1) they cannot understand its many convoluted meanings when they have attempted to read it on rare occasions; or, 2) they might claim belief but truly have no interest in God or His ways, which speaks of unbelief. Deadly pride— which God says is the same as idolatry—prevents them from stating the truth behind their refusal to read the Bible, either due to not wishing to appear stupid or because they wish to be found acceptable to society in general thus hiding their lack of belief.

In the early years of my study in the Bible, I might have said it was hard to understand: except, I persevered, hung in there as it were. By having done so, the Holy Spirit stepped in and began to guide and teach me— “Ye who are anointed have no need to be taught by any man.” This verse belies denominational teachings that we cannot gain God’s Truths, Secrets and Mysteries without a trained professional. As Jesus said, “Out of the mouths of babes,” by these untutored will praise be perfected and truth gained. There will be more on this concept of ‘boring’ later in this article.

Common statement 2, the Bible is untrue; or, more commonly stated, the Bible contains inconsistencies thus cannot be wholly relied upon. Once again, I draw on over 30 years of research and study in the Bible— taught by no man— which revealed no inconsistencies whatsoever. Even pastors, evangelists and theologians have been heard to say that it contains conflicting recounts therefore unreliable. Yet, when God’s Word is studied in the manner He prescribed— and no other— the Bible shines in its perfect harmony, without so much as one conflicting statement nor anything ‘new’ having been presented in the Gospels: another fallacy being taught amidst corporate Christendom.

Indeed, the Bible was penned by 46 different men— all with no formal Biblical schooling— over a period of 1500 years, as well as translated into other languages by many since 1600 A.D.; but, to place the burden of accuracy upon these mere men is to do injustice to God: for He said that their pens were/are His mouth and His Bible scribed by divine inspiration, the truth of which He has “preserved” throughout the ages.

The Bible has more corroborating evidence than any book of fact in the world or even any criminal trial ever conducted. There are over 5000 pieces of historical documentation validating just the Bible itself: each piece an exact copy of its original. Virtually all historical documentation for non-related events or material require only 4 or 5 copies to determine an original valid for accuracy. Additionally, history itself bears out not only the Bible’s validity but also testifies to the truthfulness of its prophecies. Even man’s science got on the bandwagon in an attempt to nullify the Bible. Instead, all they succeeded in doing was to validate it. Further, God’s Holy Word is the only book in existence to remain in reprint and on the best sellers’ list: being ancient is no guarantee that a book will survive thousands of years, especially one as convoluted as the Holy Bible. Only God is capable of “preserving” His Truths.

In fact, making the Bible available in all known languages of this earth was part of Yeshua’s greater plan: in order to “preach again His Truths” in the age of Revelation’s Philadelphia, 1844 to 1991 A.D.— the preparations for which began with the King’s James’ translations in the 1600’s amidst the Thyatira era, 538 to 1798 A.D. Studying and researching for this ‘preaching again’ then began in the Sardis age, 1798 to 1844 AD: the ‘preaching again’ beginning in 1844. This could not have been achieved without translations. To so much as imply that man created a Bible full of errors is to deny God’s absolute power and control over everything, most especially His Written Word.

The above then begs the question: If the Bible is God’s Word unchanged, why then would it be necessary to ‘preach again? This is where diligent study and research pays off: the apostate church, or Satan’s synagogues were allotted 1810 years during which to deceive the world concerning God’s Word, the Gospel and His prophecies, to-wit: to establish a church that only appears to be light but darkness/lies within: “a white sepulchre full of dead men’s bones.” During most of this period between 34 A.D. to 1844, Bibles were not available to the common person: only church leaders and a few selected wealthy even were allowed to possess a copy.

It was during these first 5 church ages in which it was easy for God’s Word to be distorted, for the people had only the pulpit’s spoken word to rely upon for God’s Truth. Lucifer successfully defiled and twisted God’s Truths; thus of necessity, El’s book had to become available to the general populace, for it would be those untutored who ultimately would ‘preach again.’ As readily noted above, this ‘preaching again’ ended in 1991.

The only thing left remaining is for Christ to come take us up: which occurs at some non-cited time in this Laodicea age; according to Jesus, an era He will cut short for the sake of His suffering elect. Therefore, we may conclude rightly that it will be the shortest church age. Currently, the shortest era among the first six was Sardis, comprised of 46 years. The 1810 years, Biblically referred to as “time of the Gentiles,” spanned the entirety of the first 5 church timeframes: Ephesus beginning in 34 A.D., 66yrs; Smyrna, 223yrs; Pergamos, 215yrs; Thyatira, 1260yrs; and, Sardis, 46yrs.

Sardis being the shortest age to date can mean only that Laodicea will be even fewer years: because at no time did Jesus say any other age would be cut short. Additionally, the Bible reveals that earth, from its beginning of life, would have a life span of 6000 years followed by a 1000-years Sabbath rest, during which it will lie fallow and desolate, unable to support life of any kind: for a total of 7000 years. 2008 years have expired since Christ’s birth. Almost 4000 years preceded His birth, revealing only a few years allotted to Laodicea before His return.

The “time of the Gentiles” perfectly coincides with several events in 34 A.D., precisely 3-1/2 years following Christ’s crucifixion: 1) Stephen’s stoning death; 2) Saul’s call by Jesus to replace Stephen, Paul’s specific assignment being the Gentiles; and 3) the birth and infancy of an apostate church offering a distorted version of God’s Word, warned of in several of the epistles. Both the Bible and voluminous historical records confirm each of these facts.

Determining 1810 years, which number does not appear in the prophecies— as do the 1260, 2300 years prophecies and others— is gained by establishing 34 A.D. as the beginning of ‘time of the Gentiles,’ based on the 3 facts presented above, then establishing the beginning of the Philadelphia age by prophetic signs marking each era, at which time the truth was to be preached again to the world: 1844 A.D.

Philadelphia ran for 147 years, bringing mankind to the year 1991 and entry into the last church age of Laodicea: according to appropriate signs. Obviously then, God’s Truth was ‘preached again’ for 147 years! This being 2004, it still is being taught; so, now it’s been 160 years! Historical records bear out that this preaching, contrary to what organized religions were, and still are teaching, circled the globe like wildfire; yet, very few rose to the occasion and accepted those truths brought by men and women neither standing in pulpits nor seminary trained.

This abject denial by the masses also validates the Bible’s premise that only about 10% of the population, in any given generation, would accept the truth… even preached again. Nevertheless, it still is being taught today by the untutored, of which I am merely one. The world now is in its 13th year of Laodicea. Signs and Biblical detail indicate this era about to end: any day, any hour now.

This brings us back to the first part of the question: “Is the Bible boring?” Yes it is, and has been since its inception, BO—RING! But, boring ONLY to the “wicked and filthy,” those blatantly wicked as well as those willing to listen to only smooth words spewing from global pulpits: these latter being the filthy. Just the information imparted above should give a hint as to how fascinating is the Bible to those who love and serve the Lord.

The Gospels allude to God’s secrets and mysteries. If one fully immerses self into the Bible, he or she soon would find all those secrets and mysteries cleverly hidden within its volume of words: so well written that the wicked and filthy never will find them, for the Spirit will not guide them… ever! So well written, that no group of authors, since or to date, over such a long span of time could compete against such accuracy, endurance, and perfect harmony… ever!

Now, as to whether or not the Bible is IRRELEVANT. Again, yes, it is irrelevant! It has been irrelevant in every church age: yet, irrelevant to ONLY the wicked and filthy. To the righteous, this Holy book always has been and always will be exceedingly relevant and of priceless value to his or her life while suffering this ailing world and their persecutors while patiently awaiting our Messiah’s return to get us out of here.

Indeed, times have changed, just as the Bible prophesied they would: and, sadly, changed not for the better but for the worse; therefore, confirming absolutely the validity of the Bible’s prophecies. It is the only book in the world, since earth’s beginning, that has prophesied the end from the literal beginning: each prophecy fulfilled exactly as portended and right on schedule. What hasn’t changed, however, is God and His requirements of us: He is “the same yesterday, today, and forever;” which means we “ought to obey every word of God, for it is the whole duty of mankind: His Law will stand forever and ever; even in the new earth.”

A true Christian finds neither his or her faith nor God’s Word boring, untrue or irrelevant. On the contrary, he or she finds within both PEACE and a sense of FREEDOM “such as the world cannot know” or even begin to understand; for it is not peace and freedom such as the world thinks of peace and freedom. Faith and God’s Word mean everlasting life to Christ’s sheep. And, with or without their Bible, they will not depart from His Truths or let go their unfailing faith: even in the face of death. The first death, death of this flesh garment we temporarily wear, means nothing to us; and, it is the second death, that of the spirit giving this body life, we adamantly avoid through faith and obedience: we die daily to the flesh, refusing to give it reign.

In the end, we will be given new bodies incapable of corruption and an earth restored to like Eden: where there will be no evil, no pain, no illnesses, no hunger, no homelessness.

Friendship Mirror

Friendship Mirror

MS Musings, theme, Jan. 2006 issue

One might wonder why some friends seem to stick around through thick and thin, yet others come and go; never to be seen or heard from again or, perhaps, only on rare occasions. It might appear to happen more so during some adversity self is going through at the time: illness, disease, divorce, or a lost job.

Such behaviour tells us something about the friend who walks away, but it also tells us something about self and should cause us to self-analyze; making sure we have not indulged in pity parties and/or overdosed on pity pills. Being ill is no excuse for being pessimistic, whiney, complaining, crying out with “Oh, woe is me,” abusive to those lending aid, or being negative in any way. Such behaviours definitely drive people away.

In truth, our friends mirror who we are on the inside and what kind of friend we are to others. Thus, we cannot attract true friends unless, first, we give bona fide friendship. In short, this relates to the old adage that we cannot give what we first do not have within; as well as the ancient proverb, “Treat others as you would want them to treat you.”

What is a true friend? Well, they love God first and foremost therefore love self. In loving self, they naturally love others without expectation: simply giving of self in myriad ways and on the scene when needed— without complaint. They tend to suffer in silence, making light of their own ailments yet knowing when to apply the brakes for rest.

Optimistic people prefer laughter to tears. This kind of friend also is very honest and always will say what we need to hear as opposed to what we think we want to hear. At the same time, such buddies offer sane solutions to problems, lift us up when we are down, encourage us when discouraged, cry with us when we grieve or hurt, laugh with us when we are joyous, and rapidly jump to care for us when ill: truly sharing every aspect of our lives in accordance with Christ’s instructions to His church, His people as it were.

There is no getting around the fact we draw to us people of the same ilk: if we are negative, the majority entering our circle will be negative; if positive, we attract predominantly positive people. Negative is to be absent from God; whereas positive people walk with God and in His loving ways. After all, God is pure love and optimism; although, He does hate with a perfect, this is to say, a justified hate for all that is evil.

This is not to say negative people never will enter a positive person’s circle; for they will, from time to time, with a desire to have and/or be like the positive or to see if they can gain control over positive. If negative is not willing to learn from and adopt positive’s behaviour, negative will move on while blaming positive for some imagined insult.

On the other hand, if positive steps into negative’s circle and does all the things an optimistic friend does yet pessimism persists in his or her negativity, then positive ultimately will move on rather than be pulled down into negative’s dark abyss: exactly as God instructs His sheep to do.

A true friend does not turn away from a friend for reasons over which one has no control, such as injuries or illness or diseases like Multiple Sclerosis and cancer or divorce or losing a job or even moving far from one another. They turn away from only that which is destructive, but not before offering help and solutions as well as forgiveness.

This writer has been blessed with friends ranging from 2 years to 20 years to as long as 52 years, albeit for the last 20 years she has lived 2300 miles from the longest of them; yet, each of these precious friends have been there for her during various hours of adversity over all these years; in the throes of divorce, death of children and other family members, illnesses, surgeries, diseases of MS, Lupus and, more recently, some flew 2300 miles to care for her following brain aneurysm surgery; despite the fact her daughter was there to help her mother.

By the grace and mercy of God, I am so blessed when I look into the mirror of my lifelong and even new friends, for I comprehend that they reflect the friend I am to them. Most important, however, is that they also reflect my walk with God and His Christ. I have incredibly loving friends who intensely love our Father and His Christ first!

What do you see when you gaze into your friendship mirror? Is the reflection full of darkness and pain or filled with laughter and love and Light?

The reality of this particular mirror is that each individual has the power to alter what it reflects by changing only one thing: SELF. This is just one of many choices we make every day while attending earth’s university known as Life; this particular course, amidst its vast curriculum, is Self-improvement. There are no magic drugs or drinks or people. Oh, mankind does tout a few things as magic cures, but sooner or later each kills due to accumulating side effects. God’s way is life eternal with no down sides.

One hard fact: we cannot change anyone except self; the winning combination being only God, by looking into His mirror first— that is, His Written Word reflecting who and what we truly are within— plus intense work on self’s part coupled with solid determination: refusing to waver, refusing to give in to weaknesses. We all have them, for pity sake!

If we had no weaknesses, Satan would have nothing to attack and Jesus would have not one single reason to grow stronger on our behalf while causing Lucifer to grow weaker against us. If Beelzebub grows stronger against our weaknesses, it is only because we gave him the control over us instead of holding on tightly to our dominion over him! Choice. It’s all about making wise choices. “Be ye not deceived.”
