News 10/21-10/23: 2.5 days in the world
Yep, there was a lot going on in the last 2.5 days; but, TSaS has elected to not report any global news in this issue about upcoming annual holidays. News has been more of the same, events escalating as usual: earthquakes, typhoons, hurricanes, flooding rains, tornados, child abductions/murder, numerous deaths in aircraft/trains, wars/riots, etc.

CRITICAL: this issue reveals Truth that affects our relationship with God and Christ, as well as how a person commits unaware or aware acts of unforgivable blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. This will bring the reader to awareness, at which time he or she must make a choice for God or for the world. “How long halt ye between two opinions? Either you are for God or you are not.” Time is short.

TRUTH GATHERING, an exhaustive AKJV Topical Bible of all critical-to-salvation subjects, ©annotation copyright 1998 Bonita M Quesinberry, excerpt Chapter 10: Christ’s Birth, Death and Resurrection

Well over two hundred years after Christ ascended to heaven, what appeared to be His church arbitrarily established December 25th as the day to celebrate our Saviour’s birth: His resurrection celebrated on Easter, a floating holiday having occurred April 23rd in the year 2000. Where did these traditions come from? Are they Christian? More importantly, are they acceptable to God? Dissecting God’s Word sheds a contrary light on corporate Christendom’s festivals and should cause every serious Christian, determined to please God and Christ, to question denominational pulpits they have relied on for Biblical truths.

Most notably, Christians need to be aware that condemnation will pour out upon all entities guilty of instituting into Christ’s church such paganistic, idolatrous festivals. This applies equally to those Christians who gain the truth, yet continue to observe manmade commandments, traditions and festivals—regardless of their claim in Jesus’ honor. In His opinion, such professed Christians render lip service, “flattering lips” as it were: He does not know them. See TRUTH GATHERING chapter: “Fatal Lip Service.”

Still, as the title of this chapter implies, the identity of the perpetrator Papal Rome, and her daughters’ participation, will not be discussed here. We begin with the conception and ultimate birth of Messiah, Jesus Christ our Saviour. Apostle Luke renders a very concise record for examination and it is logical to base dates on the ancient Jewish calendar, which is the first calendar. Therefore, it is prudent to note that the first month of the Gregorian year is January, as opposed to the Hebrew first month of the year September. With this in mind, we begin Luke’s testimony. Please note for the purposes of this reprint, scripture quotes are contained between * * * * * asterisks, writer notes unbound.

* * * * * Luke 1:26-27,30-31,35-37, 38-42—And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused [betrothed, engaged] to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; and entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was fill with the Holy Ghost: and she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. * * * * *

Luke reveals that Mary conceived Jesus in the sixth month (Adar) of the Jewish calendar, the Gregorian February. Luke further enlightens of Mary’s pregnancy having extended full-term without incident, placing Christ’s birth sometime in (Cheshvan of the Jewish calendar) October of the Gregorian calendar. The first year AD was meant to be the year of Christ’s birth but, due to error, missed it by 2-1/2 to 3 years. Jesus was 33 and 7 months at His death in April AD 31, thus it is proper to place His birth on or about October in the year between BC 4-1/2 to 3 (calendar matching provided herein).

* * * * * Luke 2:6-11—And so it was, that, while they were there [in Bethlehem], the days were accomplished that she [Mary] should be delivered [give birth]. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. * * * * *

Luke also chronicles that tax assessing was what prompted Joseph to take his pregnant wife to Bethlehem, further confirming an October birth inasmuch as tax collection followed the second harvest of any given year. October is the second month of harvest time and the second month of the Hebrew new year. Also, shepherds still were in the fields with their flocks when Gabriel appeared to them. This too would be normal since October is autumn in Israel (not winter, December [Tebet] or January [Shebat]). History reveals sheep would not have been in the fields during winter months.

It was Joseph and Mary’s custom to travel with their family to Jerusalem every year for the two-day Passover festival, which begins March 31st (Nisan). Christ was twelve at the time His parents discovered Jesus missing three days into their return home from such a trip. Remember, Jesus was later found in the Temple. He told Mary and Joseph that He “was about my Father’s work.” This occurred about April (Iyar) 6th, AD 9 —recall the calendar discrepancy in the AD year of birth, thus this event was not in AD 12.

Luke 3:23 reveals that Jesus was about to turn 30 when he was baptized by John then spirited away by Satan for 40 days of temptation. It was following this event that Christ’s ministry began. We may conclude: His ministry began either with baptism—about Sept. AD 27—or following the 40 days—approximately late Oct. AD 27.

Bible timeline shows Christ’s ministry as 3-1/2 years to the point of death—see Daniel c.9 regarding 70-prophetic weeks, 490-literal years— allowing for restoration of the road to and the city of Jerusalem and building the temple: then the Messiah’s ministry would begin at the onset of the 70th week—or last 7 years of the 490—and ind in the midst of the 70th week or 3-1/2 literal years.

Christ’s death occurred exactly 486-1/2 years following the onset of road, city and temple construction. It is appropriate to place Jesus’ death in April AD 31—from point of baptism and just prior to His thirty-fourth birthday. This is in harmony with the fact Jesus and His Disciples shared Passover before His arrest.

Luke 24:52-56 confirms April (Iyar) AD 31, informing us that Christ was placed in a tomb before Sabbath came on, which is sunset Friday, following several events having begun with Passover—March (Nisan) 31st through April (Iyar) 1st. On Wednesday, April 1st, the last day of Passover, Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Late on Thursday night (the 4th watch), April 3rd, Judas arrived with soldiers and Jesus was taken prisoner. By the next morning, Friday April 4th, Christ had been condemned to death, sent to Pilate, who released Barnabas, then Jesus was hung on a cross.

Luke 23:44-46 tells us Jesus died at about the ninth hour. God’s time is reckoned as a night being from sunset to sunrise and daytime being from sunrise to sunset, with a 24-hour day determined as sunset-even to sunset-even. Therefore, if we assume the sun rose at about 6AM, then Christ’s death would have been on Friday afternoon, April 4th, at about 3PM. Luke additionally advises that Jesus was placed in the tomb before sunset, the onset of Sabbath, April 5th. This is reasonable considering that criminals were not allowed to hang until sunset: it was against the law for a body to hang overnight. Christ died at about 3PM, at which time counsellor Joseph obtained permission to claim Christ’s body.

With this data, comprehend that Christ obeyed the Sabbath even in death, for He remained in His grave until dawn of the first day of the week: Sunday, April 6th AD 31.  Jesus then arose and was seen by at least 500 people over the next 40 days, after which He ascended to heaven. His ascension would have occurred on or about May (Sivan) 15th, AD 31. In each date citation, a Hebrew calendar is used specifically: it is the only one to agree Biblically. For instance: the Gregorian fifth month is May, which equates to the Hebrew ninth month of Sivan.

Compare the two calendars below, excusing the lines and dots needed to keep the comparison aligned in web-format. Note: only religious holidays show with each month appropriate to the calendar. One reflects God’s festivals for His people and the Gregorian reflects pagan holidays adopted by Christian-professing Sunday-keeping denominations:

RESULTS:

1) Mary conceived Jesus sometime in February BC 4;

2) Jesus was born approximately early to late October BC 3 (based on typical gestation)

3) Christ began His ministry on or about His 30th birthday, or October AD 27;

4) Jesus was crucified on Friday, April 3rd, AD 31, pronounced dead at about 3PM at the age of 33 years and 7 months;

5) Before sunset April 3rd, AD 31 Jesus was placed in a rich man’s tomb where He remained through Saturday Sabbath, April 5th and Sunday night April 6th AD 31;

6) At dawn on Sunday, April 6th, AD 31 Christ arose from the grave and was seen by many people for 40 days;

7) The 40th day, about May 15th AD 31 Jesus ascended to heaven with host of first fruits.

Since the whole Bible is about God, the Hebrews— Judah and Israel— Christ, and adopted Hebrews— pagan Gentiles— then it is most appropriate to discern these dates in accordance with ancient Hebrew calendars. After all, that is the time in which these records were written and events occurred. Biblically, there would have been no other calendar. Realistically? Yes, there were pagan calendars even then, but to use one of those would be to discern God’s Word by the world: instead of spiritually.

Note: Hebrew calendars are used today in Orthodox and Christian Jews observing Jewish festivals. It remains the same as from the beginning. Therefore, the Hebrew September is the same September we recognize. It just happens to be the Hebrew’s first month of the year, whereas a Gregorian calendar begins with January.

Using a Gregorian calendar to decipher God’s word causes interpretative error and no harmony will be found between verse and historical data. For instance, Mary would have conceived in June BC 4, based on a Gregorian calendar, therefore placing Christ’s birth sometime February BC 3. Unfortunately, this would skew all other dates set out above.

Passover is March 30 through April 1, according to ancient and modern practices. Using a Gregorian calendar would not place Jesus at the Passover festival leading to His arrest. At 31 years, 7 months at death, it would mean Christ died September 5th AD 33. The only Jewish festival in September is the Feast of Weeks. The gospels state clearly: Christ and His Apostles shared the Passover meal, then Jesus was arrested early next morning. As El might say: to use a Gregorian calendar is to corrupt clues He provided.

As Christians, adopted into God’s Jewish Tree, we are subject to the same obedience. This means avoiding anything even slightly resembling evil. Thus, we can eliminate all holidays shown in a Gregorian or other non-Hebrew calendar. As adopted children, we may also eliminate most other Jewish ordinance festivals shown.

The only ordinances Christ commands of Gentiles and Jews are:  1) confession of sins; 2) baptism by water; 3) faith of and belief in Jesus as our Redeemer and Son of God; 4) obedience to the Father’s Doctrine, the Ten Commandments that depend on the two Royal Laws of love; 5) baptism of the Holy Ghost— to those who obey. Additionally, 6) work good works as well as use gifts of the Spirit to benefit the brethren; and, 7) perform, as often as we choose, the Lord’s Supper—Passover—include washing our brethren’s feet as a symbol of service, instead of being served: in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.

To observe any other holidays as well as establishing a counterfeit birthday for Christ, is a wicked example of vanity, idolatry and pagan worship. Whatever excuse we use to justify such behavior is exactly why Jesus said, “You do me lip service and I never knew you.” For example, pagan artifacts used to decorate— i.e. Christmas tree— or observing a pagan holiday— i.e. Christmas and Easter— and dedicating it to the Lord. It is an abomination to God and is counted as “flattering lips” heavily couched in pagan idolatry.

One other note, Bethlehem is located in the hilly or mountainous region of Israel. In winter months, beginning in December, temperatures get as low as 42 degrees at night. This is not so for previous months, especially concerning October, which remains very warm. Additionally, the Gospels do not indicate freezing winter with snow on the ground at Christ’s birth—a familiar Christmas scene with which we’ve all grown up. All these little subtleties grouped together cause the world to believe lies and walk after Satan unaware, guilty by virtue of not checking out the facts for one’s self.

Also, consider portraits of Christ rendered by various artists over the centuries. They paint quite a beautiful being and tout Him as 6-feet tall, slender and blue-eyed: which might seem in keeping with Papal Rome’s Shroud of Turin, recently debunked. Might such beauty be a contributor to society’s obsession with physical beauty? Scriptures describe Jesus otherwise. Long before Christ’s birth, He was described as “marred (deformed, ugly) more than any man, small of stature, his body without form; nothing beautiful about him to cause people to follow him; people turned away from looking at his marred, deformed black body and disfigured face; a man of sorrows and grief and pain.

Read  “TODAY, JESUS SAID, LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF”. One might be surprised by what the Bible reveals compared to what preachers and theologians teach.

The irony of the facts presented hereinabove: Theologians throughout the ages always have maintained that Christ was born sometime in October. Christians need to ask themselves: Why, then, are we taught that no one knows when Jesus was born? Recall: God said, “One lie renders the whole a lie.” If Satan convinces the world of just one lie, he succeeded in achieving its damnation— IF we do not seek God’s Word personally.

Would you obey the laws of man or the laws of God? Surely, we ought to obey God.

You might want to read what Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas and Easter really are and why they insult the Lord as an abomination to Him. The website below points out clearly that pagan rituals are alive and well and they rejoice that professing Christians share their blasphemous festivals. * * * * *

Because of the length of text, only the Wiccan website URL is provided here. Christians strongly are urged to check out this website and others like it. Discover what happens if we keep pagan holidays in the name of Christ— “The Witches Voice presents…THE HOLIDAYS OF WITCHCRAFT” at http://www.witchvox.com/holidays/ostara.html

* * * * * How can true Christians observe these holidays while claiming honor to God and Jesus Christ? It is an abomination to our Father Creator. It is unacceptable to place the ONE TRUE GOD and HIS SON within a framework of false gods. This is exactly what Jesus meant by “flattering lips” and “creating images of God after corruptible men:” this and much more. Warning! He declared of those who do such things, “I do not know you.” Even the Christmas tree is of pagan origin and well described in: * * * * *

Jeremiah 10:2-4,~5,8—Thus saith the Lord, learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne [carried], because they cannot go [by themselves]. But they [the heathen] are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities [idolatry].

* * * * * Several years ago, a Sabbatarian youth minister spoke of a personal experience on his job. It was nearing Christmas and one employee— most verbal about her Wiccan beliefs and Druid ties and very much aware of the minister’s Christian faith— asked him: “If you believe in God and in Christ, then why do you celebrate our festivals?”

Now, she assumed he did so because, like all the other employees, he did not work on those days. Of course, hers was an erroneous assumption. How could he work if the company was closed and locked for the holidays? Fortunately, the young man was able to reply, “I don’t celebrate any pagan festivals like Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, Easter or personal birthdays to honor any man.”

Thanksgiving? Yes, its origins are Celtic: originally an 8-day festival to honor harvest gods and brought to the United States by the first settlers. Nevertheless, the youth minister was ONE witness in God’s favour. Sadly, many of us might work with Wiccan and Druid followers unaware. It is by what we say and/or do that we witness for or against God to those who are paganism’s prey.

Several years ago, a well-known actress serving a short stint as a talk show host presented a program for Halloween: her guests a man and woman, both proud Wiccan members. Near the show’s end, the hostess asked, “What do you think about Christians observing your festivals?” She referenced not only Halloween but Christmas and Easter as well.

The woman said, “It proves to me that I’ve chosen the right religion because it’s obviously the world’s oldest religion. Else why would Christians share our rituals.” This applies to Sunday observance as well, a day dedicated to their sun god: venerable day of the sun.

The Wiccan witch revealed a multitude of Christians unwittingly witnessing against God. Alas, unaware or aware, each will be found just as guilty before our Father; His Truth is out there and in His Holy Bible. As for witchcraft being the oldest religion: this pen begs to differ. After all, worship of God the Creator began with Adam and Eve. The most important question to ask self: “What kind of witness for God and Christ am I, both in word and deed? And, what am I going to do about it?”

——Watch the clouds between mid-October to mid-November now but no later than 2011; it might be now. Hebrews says Jesus will not be late. If not fully converted, time is your enemy; total conversion must be instant, this day, TODAY: do not delay. Pray unceasing! Be watchful; stand fast even to death. WE HAVE GOD’S POWER. KEEP WALKING and TALKING, even when it seems useless: you might snatch one lost, lukewarm sheep from the flames. Saith the Lord, “Ye lukewarm await consuming fire.”
