Update Rhyli Mason: First, we must make corrections to the first two reports on Rhyli: she has dark brown eyes instead of blue; and, mother Brittany was ask to choose between CPS foster home or paternal grandfather Nick Mason, not in the past week, rather she was asked several days before they delivered Rhyli to Nick. Readers will recall that, between the two, she had said she preferred a foster home to Nick.
—— Brittany’s great aunt suggested CPS might use this against her, intimating she did not want Rhyli back at all or with María. This is a good point; so, we instructed Brittany: if CPS again asks limited contrary choices, she is to respond with only her true choice, “I prefer Rhyli be returned to me or my mother. I am against any other choices.”
—— This past week a video, “Justice for Rhyli,” was put together showing various outings, etc. with Rhyli and her family: it proves her to have been and is a happy, healthy child, plus a brief about what CPS has done to her and the family. It was posted to Face Book, where it generated over 8000 comments and untold hits: this is considered having gone viral on Face Book.
—— Rhyli’s paternal grandmother, Maxine, put together a series of videos taken over Rhyli’s four years. María will urge Maxine to post the video to YouTube. If it goes viral there, it not only might get a million or more hits, it also WOULD be picked up by major network news stations. YouTube viral videos usually end up being reported by those news agencies: exactly what we need to bring public pressure onto CPS.
—— Further, Rhyli’s maternal grandmother, María, has been made aware of a Juvenile Justice agency. As soon as she has the particulars on this resource, she will be giving them a call about possible legal representation. As for her client that was going to call her attorney brother, she has not heard back at this time.

Interesting Tidbit: The topic today provides definitions in the various ancient languages, including English, of the relevant subject words. Then, we noticed a scripture about doing “alms” (Matt. 6:1-4). Strictly out of curiosity, we looked up definitions as we did for this week’s topic words. The result was further proof of why we should refer to original Bible tongues on key words: carefully read the definitions from three available sources below:
—— Alms:
(MSWord Thesaurus) — a load, a long distance, a long time ago, all your own, almost certainly, and so forth
(Webster’s Dict.) — pity, money, food, clothes, etc. given to poor people, a deed of mercy
(Greek, ancient combo of two words) — compassionateness for the poor, beneficence or a benefaction (support, aid), compassion– human or divine, espec. active– tender mercy.
—— It is evident that the MSWord Thesaurus meanings, and there were many more than shown above, were clearly unrelated to the Bible’s intent and use. “All your own” and “Almost certainly” could suggest or imply that this might be a verse for Sunday’s use when preaching prosperity: combining scripture to say, “Earth’s riches are reserved for God’s people, for the riches are almost certainly all their own today.” One might say that some of the modern meanings would not apply, such as “a long way.” Well, that certainly did not stop Sunday from skewing God’s true intent for Sabbath.
—— Nevertheless, despite other scripture advising riches being reserved for us in the new earth, not here and now; and, despite Matthew’s implication of gifts or help for the poor– although the passage is not specific in itself but the word in Greek makes the verses specific– it would make no difference to Sunday. It never has bothered them to put man’s spin on God’s Word, either by the use of ancient or modern definitions or even using both in order to achieve Satan’s purpose.
—— RDK often refers to the Bible’s original languages in order to be certain of God’s intent, meaning and opinion, rather than man’s view that, more often than not, greatly differs with God. There absolutely are no circumstances in which God or His Words would ever change: that includes definitions and uses of specific, topical words. We have even heard Sunday say that definitions are different today than yesterday, in a manner implying that what matters is how the words are defined today.
——Wisdom: to use the modern to define the ancient will not always work toward God’s opinion and use; but it certainly makes it easy for Sunday to twist God’s Truth to fit what people “want to hear:” those smooth words allowing them to continue in sin as do the filthy of the world. Christ’s remnants are “in the world but not of it;” thus according to our Lord, we have an understanding of all things.
—— A prime, critical example of twisting to suit Satan’s goals was a point-in-fact delivered in a recent Extra Oil about God’s Sabbath: Sunday suddenly teaching it twisted today in order to justify uniting Saturday and Sunday, good with evil, God with Satan—  “Sabbath means rest only; so we are to gather for worship on Sunday. Even the Apostles met on Sunday.”
—— RDK research found in every case, except two, the Biblical use of “sabbath” meant far more than just “rest:” the two exceptions were how the holy Sabbath relates to the planet itself and the sick. Otherwise, “sabbath” includes all of the things God said were to be done on His seventh day: note “all,” for the word itself certainly does not limit this holy day exclusively for resting our flesh bodies.
—— As for the Apostles, they did NOT meet on Sunday for worship; they met to conduct church business, collect tithes– both of which were never done on Sabbath day– and to share a meal while socializing with one another; especially when one of the traveling Apostles happened to be in town. They always worshiped and taught, visited and healed, fed and clothed and housed the poor, and spent time with their families on God’s Sabbath: as God commanded and Jesus did, so must we.

Following Foolish Folly: Sabbath Topic, God’s meaningful use of the word fools
First, we provide definitions by ancient Hebrew-Chaldee (H/C) 16-words and Greek (G) 8-words – each word used to provide God’s intents, and modern English (E) — in some cases, the new does work with the old

—— Fool/Foolish/Foolishly:
—— H/C. – stupid or silly; derivative– fool (-ish), to be fat, i.e. (figuratively, such as fat in riches, ignorance or stupidity) silly: be foolish, perverse, folly, foolishly (-ness), hence (morally) impious, brutish (wild, violent), make a show, boast (of self), clamorous (-ly; noisy, loud & confused), rave, mad (against), rage, slack (careless, slow moving, lazy), wicked (especially impious), play the fool, make a fool, turn into a fool, sot, sottish, unsavoury, untempered, to smear, slimy, (by implication) sensual, unwise
—— G. – unintelligent, (by implication) wicked, without understanding, frothing or foaming (at the mouth while raging), mindless (i.e. stupid), (by implication) ignorant, (specifically) egotistic, rash or (morally) unbelieving, to become insipid, to make as a simpleton, make foolish, lose savour (righteous salt), foolish talking, buffoonery, silly talk, dull (as if shut up), i.e. heedless, (immoral) blockhead, absurd, (does or does not) consider – perceive – think – or understand; to misthink, i.e. be insane (silly): – as a fool, contrary to (God, Christ), absurdity; nobody’s fool: shrewd and capable

—— H/C. Fool/foolish inspired man: prophecy, that prophesy, prophet: Prov. 30:21-22 – “For three things the earth is disquieted (shaken, as an earthquake), and for four which it cannot bear: 1. for a servant when he reigneth; and 2. (an inspired man, a prophet) a fool when he is filled with food. (the first 2 of 3; the four begin with verse 24)

—— Related Words: from above– silly, folly, impious, imprudent, insipid, sot/sottish: modern English only, corresponds well with Hebrew/Chaldee and Greek —
—— Silly: (in a mental or moral sense) be (causative, make) roomy; simple or (in a sinister way) delude: allure, deceive, (enhance or) enlarge (upon, i.e. enhance truth with lies to deceive a person or people), entice, flatter (insincerely), persuade, silly (one)

—— Sot/Sottish: stupid, habitual drunkard. Stupid or foolish from or as from too much drinking
—— Stupid/Stupidity: lacks normal intelligence or understanding; slow-witted; foolish; irrational; boring; tiresome; stupid implies lack of intelligence or incapacity for perceiving, learning, etc. as might be shown by one in a mental stupor; dull, dense, slow, retarded; stupidity– the quality or condition of being stupid; something stupid; foolish remark, irrational act, etc.

Topic: Paraphrased Summary–’Fools’ Verses – references follow text below
—— God’s Word has taught that we should call no man or woman a fool; with few exceptions, only God has that right based on His judgment. Scriptures below provide a few reasons why we should not yet, on the other hand, why the remnant may call themselves a fool, while God’s anointed prophets may do the same and call others a fool or foolish when warranted by what a person has done or said. After all, it is the prophets’ job to not only interpret and teach God’s prophecies but also to warn those in sin.
—— Some acts of calling someone a fool or foolish end up making the speaker a liar; such as when Laban accused Jacob of being both a thief and, as such, a fool for having stolen his images (icons) and fleeing. Laban then checked every tent, including the tent of Jacob’s wife Rachael; Laban’s daughter Rachel had taken the icons then hid them in the seat upon which she sat when he entered. To prevent Laban from checking her chair, she lied about being in the way of a woman  (menstrual). Jacob did not know she had the icons thus chastised Laban for falsely accusing him when Laban could find no proof  he had stolen anything of Laban’s. Not only was Laban a fool, but for the sin of lying, so was Rachael a fool.
—— In the case of Miriam and Aaron, who spoke against Moses because he married an Ethiopian, Miriam alone suffered God’s greater punishment; likely because women tend to be the gender that often gossips, sometimes malicious and other times outright lies. God healed Miriam of the leprosy He put upon her only after Aaron suffered the humiliation of having repeated the gossip and admitting their sin to Moses– instead of God– saying of themselves that they had done foolishly. Here a sinner called himself and Miriam and their sin foolish, which admission is a good thing before God; the sin was to speak ill of or lie about another person.
——God called the Jews a foolish people when they got deep into idolatry and possessed pagan idols and icons. As far as God was concerned, that was to put “strange gods” before, in front of, God’s face and follow their directives instead of God’s and/or mix their ways with His; like thumbing their nose at God, a mockery of their Creator who had set them free: a violation of His third and fourth Precepts.
—— We find, however, Samuel called king Saul foolish for not having followed the Lord’s command. Samuel was God’s anointed from birth to eventually become Israel’s anointed king, therefore Samuel had right to chastise the very king he had appointed then anointed to replace his rule over Israel; much like a parent can call their child foolish when they do or say things they should not do or say before God. Others we know are anointed would be God’s prophets in each age: these also may chastise and call a fool those who defy and/or deny God and/or Christ or God’s Law or for any of the reasons found in the scriptures listed below.

—— When Saul wanted David to return home, Saul called himself a fool for having been the cause of David leaving; calling David son because he was married to Saul’s daughter. We should heed God’s advice to parents, “Anger not thy child.” By this He meant do not anger by unfairness or false complaints or charges or unjust punishments.
—— We also should not anger our grown children by the same reasons or for attempting to tell them what to do and how to do it: once grown, our status becomes that of an advisor but only if asked. It is not a parent’s right to even check to learn if their child followed the advice: it should be given as a gift with no expectations. David had a wife, then took two more wives after marrying Saul’s daughter: that was not Saul’s issue.
— There is death also to consider: king David asked if Abner had died as a fool dies, likely meaning either having done something risky or criminal and against God. While Abner had killed Joab’s brother during a war, it was justified, but later was killed by Joab; whom king David did not justify. Instead, he instructed the people and Joab to mourn Abner whom he called a great man. The Bible later advises that to die in Christ is everlasting life; the other side of that coin being to die a fool is eternal death.
—— Jesus told us that to say to another, “You fool,” has put his- or her- self in danger of hell fire; which is beyond the danger of judgment or being taken before the council, something like a court of law with twelve jurors rendering judgment. Think of it like the board game Monopoly®: the loser passes go, does not collect $100 and goes straight to jail. In this case, the person skips judgment and sentencing to go straight to the first and second deaths simultaneously. “Hell fire” refers to the “pit of fire and brimstone,” the permanent grave from which one will never rise to live again, even for a brief period of time. Yes, a common grave that follows Revelation’s second resurrection.
—— We are shown Miriam and Aaron. While they did not call Moses a fool to his face, they were punished but not healed until they took the proper steps of repentance. The act was the same as saying to Moses’ face, “You fool.” They were healed, or saved from “hell fire,” because they humbled themselves: went to Moses and admitted their folly.
—— We may understand by this why Jesus said “in danger of,” which means “hell fire” can be avoided, if the proper atonement steps are taken in the proper order: admit the sin to its victim, ask for his or her forgiveness, then ask the Lord for His forgiveness. Christ confirmed hell fire when He said, “He who hears me but does not heed is a foolish man who will fall, and great his fall will be.”
—— The final step to avoiding hell fire is to “go and sin no more;” do not again call anyone a fool or the equivalent thereof indicated in the definitions of ‘fool’ or fail to heed Christ’s words; else the speaker might be the bigger fool facing God and in danger of hell fire. The exception is a person truly an anointed prophet of God. You will know them by God and Christ’s testimony they preach and prophecy they interpret and teach, plus God’s Law they live and teach others to do the same. There is no other way to identify God’s prophets, for they are not likely to say or write, “I am a prophet of God.” We recognize them by the Truth they live and teach: it is in perfect harmony with God’s Word. If you are compelled to ask him or her if a prophet, then he or she might be a prophet of God.
—— We have covered very little of the scripture bibliography below: God wants each reader to look up all of them that each might gain even more insight and understanding about saying of or calling someone a fool or foolish. Do not misunderstand, however. It is nothing to call an act or thing or place foolish but never a person: i.e. going out at night in this part of town is foolish; OR jumping off a cliff is foolishness, even if there is water at the bottom; OR deliberately drinking poison is about as foolhardy as it gets.
—— Notice in those examples two things are missing: 1. The word “you,” the proverbial smoking gun– the pointing finger; and, 2. A person’s name. Make it about the act, not a person; the location, not a person; the thing, not a person. Basically, God is saying “do not point fingers, and never use that smoking gun again.” Besides, point your finger at another and there will be three pointing back at you: i.e. call a fool, be a bigger fool.

Closing Words: We should be a fool; a fool for God and Christ only; a fool to keep proclaiming His Word, a fool spreading prophecy: either one or all is to be a fool only in the eyes of unbelievers, the wicked and filthy. Those gifted with prophecy should be the fool whose visions shake the world; no matter how crazy the Prophet’s words might seem to the wicked. We should never want to be the fool who is oblivious to God’s Word, His Law, and His prophecies; only believing what man teaches without studying on our own with the Spirit or, at the least knowing our teacher is truly anointed. Never be without His wisdom and knowledge, or considered stupid for not learning and living His Law to the letter, not missing the dot over each i and the cross of every T.
—— “Our God is bigger, Our God is able!” HE IS. Remember God’s promises– never forget–keep the faith in God’s assurances and obey Him from a heart of love. We are Satan’s prey, always have been; so do not fall into fear or deceit thus lose God’s Seal, thereby changing your Seal of Victory– blessed to have no part in the second resurrection– to that of Satan’s victim Marked Twice Dead for the second resurrection.
—— Share our Oils with everyone: none of us can instantly identify the wicked or the lukewarm or cold. We must speak to all who will hear yet, by instruction, must walk away from they who argue God’s Word or express no interest after a second warning. Pray unceasing for Rhyli Mason and her family: Our God is able!
——Keep the faith, Brethren, during this our final exam; stand strong, Obey God and Christ; harm no man or beast; and know Christ said of this era, “I come quickly.” If Sunday confronts you before then, spread your arms wide as you say, “Take your best shot then watch Jesus raise me up just as the Father raised Him. Be warned and repent, for my Lord and Savior comes quickly!”

Much love & prayers, Sister BonnieQ

Parental Rights Obliterated: eliminated by law and being enforced
Referencing and partial quotes from 05-13-11 “Extra Oil: No Parental Rights” as a lead-in to recent events further into this Extra Oil— “Across the country, judges are beginning to deny the vital role of parents in their children’s lives, instead inserting government into the “parental” role. This dangerous claim leads to severance of child-parent relationships in numerous instances— removals causing unnecessary pain to children and parents.”
—— Where it began was revealed by “Pope John Paul II when he called to (wanted) our children and young adults: on his deathbed, thousands of young people gathered in Vatican square. The Pope sent a message to them by the Cardinal caring for him, as RDK reported last year. The Pope said only, “I called and you came.” The Vatican is behind the loss of parental rights . . .” and now has total control of the world’s children by a few of the laws Sister Tammy located this past week while researching the matter after the loss of those rights hit right at home: “Who Is Your Child’s Daddy?”
—— The laws we reveal, after the prophetic verses below, are specific to the United States, though we suspect it is an endeavor by all nations and are abusing parents and children as we write this about power given Child Protective Services (CPS) and Child Welfare (CW): both part of Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). In some U.S. states they are known by altered names but are the same and classified as “private” agencies within Homeland Security; not a part of State or Federal yet controlled by same, though courts of law have no say at all over CPS, CW or DSHS decisions and actions.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Parental Prophecy:
—— “The brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be (arrested and/or) put to death . . . And, ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” {Matt. 10:21; Luke 13:12; children rise up lawless}
—— “The servant owed his master but could not pay the debt; so the master instructed that the servant and his wife and children as well as all he had be sold, the money to go toward the servant’s debt.” {Matt. 18:23-25, paraphrased; the selling of children will be revealed below in CW and CPS, arms of DSHS}
—— “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward . . . Except the Lord of hosts had left . . . a very small remnant, (the wicked) will be as Sodom and should have been like unto Gomorrah.” {Isaiah 1:4,9-10}
—— “(Angels) come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Howl ye; for the day of Lord is at hand; it shall come as a (sudden) destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt . . . Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.” {Isaiah 13:5-7,9}
—— “‘Woe to the rebellious children,’ saith the Lord, ‘that take counsel but not of me; and that cover with a covering but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin . . . This is a rebellious people, lying children that will not hear the law of the Lord; which say to the seers, ‘See not;’ and to the prophets, ‘Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.’ ‘Wherefore’ thus saith the Holy One of Israel, ‘Because ye despise this word, trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon, therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach (a crack) ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.'” {Isaiah 30:1,9-13}
—— RDK: The point of presenting only the above scriptures– when there are many more– is to reveal Satan’s main target in this Laodicea era about to end; his time of panic, desperation and rage: target our children, especially the very young. The majority of teens already are his by actions outside both God’s and man’s Laws; the very young are gained by deceit and theft for the purpose of profit by selling to others.
—— Only a few of the oldest kids do not accept Satan, preferring rather to die. Why the world’s children his prey? They are the easiest to influence and manipulate; that is, brainwash into doing Satan’s will: whether it be against righteous parents and/or siblings, causing imprisonment and/or death. The youngest are at risk of eventually fulfilling the same causes or they sell the kids for riches in CPS coffers: money, the root of all evil.
Who is Your Child’s Real Daddy?
——Readers might be surprised by “Daddy’s” identification and how far reaching is his arm as well as even more surprised by the entity designated to enforce only “Daddy’s” rights– your child’s distant uncle: as it were, incest an abomination.
—— Following the facts laid out in this section relate to the story of Rhyli Mason of Portland, Oregon; a ‘barely’ four-year old (4yo) whose “Daddy” stole her on Friday 07-29-11 at 5:00pm to prevent contact with an attorney or judge: taken without reason from her maternal Aunt babysitting Rhyli: lie upon lie resulting in slander and defamation of character that even a court judge could not override on Wednesday 08-03-11.
—— Please, a resounding public outcry is desperately needed against the injustice leveled upon this precious little girl so deeply loved by her entire family: we have only twelve (12) days to get Rhyli home by the court of public pressure. Rhyli’s tears will break every parent’s heart, as it has her great grandmother BonnieQ, grandmothers María and Maxine, grandfathers John and Nick, mother Brittany, aunt Danielle, uncle Will plus family and friends in Texas and aunt Tammy in Florida.
—— The sinister laws and who is “Daddy”? ~~
We already knew that children became wards of State as soon as they entered public schools; today, however, they are wards of the State the moment they are born. Readers might recall CPS cases where abused children were returned to abusive parents only later to die of abuse injuries. But for longer than we can determine, CPS has been taking children who live in happy, stable, safe and loving home environments: this is true in Rhyli Mason’s case, despite her parents making mistakes, they adore her and took excellent care of her; neglect was not even an issue.
—— There are too many laws, both federal and state, and so much legalese to wade through that it is impossible to list them all in this limited format. To summarize, neither Federal nor State laws place any limits on CPS and CW’s power; whatever they decide is the final word regarding any child, abused or neglected or not. Moreover, CPS can enter your home to remove your child without notice or reason and jail you if you attempt to prevent the removal of your child.
—— CPS even resorts to fabricating reasons for removals. We can think back some ten years ago or more to California: authorities and police converged upon a religious group, arrested all parents and put all children in foster care. The false charge? Sexual abuse of minors during religious rituals. Despite the children denying such allegations, the parents remained in jail until at least a year or more later when charges were inexplicably dropped; but it took the parents several more years to regain their children. Some five years or more were involved in this case.
—— If they unjustly remove your child, it is pointless to take the matter to court because no court has jurisdiction over CPS and CW: in essence, they are Federal Supreme Courts unto themselves. We all know from a recent RDK report that, once a case is tried in the Federal Supreme Court, there is no other recourse once it renders its decision. The only possible recourse parents might have, according to a Portland attorney, is to “do everything CPS tells you to do and hope they will eventually let your child return home.”
—— There, of course, is no guarantee that following CPS instructions will regain your child; only Federal incentives for CPS to keep the child in foster care plus incentives to revoke parental rights to later adopt him or her out to couples or a single person wanting children. “Uncle Sam” funds CPS, CW and DSHS plus has other programs that will pay CPS up to $8,000 per year for up to three years for each child brought into the CPS foster care program. “Uncle Sam,” your child’s “Daddy,” will also pay up to $12,000 per year for each child successfully adopted: this is in addition to standard adoption fees. Other incentives are a number of grants available exclusively to CPS, which grants cover a multitude of things or the monies can be used at the discretion of CPS: pay increases, whatever.
—— The third incentive is a massive number of people wanting to adopt blond-blue eyed children who are happy, healthy physically and emotionally as well as very intelligent. Remind you of Hitler’s Arian Nation? People also will adopt other children, as long as they are happy, healthy and intelligent. They do NOT want the emotionally damaged children; so, CPS keeps them drugged then puts them out on the streets at age 18: no ifs, ands or buts.
—— Point in fact: when BonnieQ had a ‘free’ in-resident counseling program for teens in her home, she approached Bremerton, Washington’s CPS about taking in as many of their teens as her home and the law would accommodate. CPS was impressed with the program, saying it was the best they had ever seen, and were prepared to send up to three teen girls at a time, with one exception: IF their psychiatrist said the kids had to be on heavy drugs, Bonnie had to comply.
—— Bonnie was not willing to have drugged teens in a program that included cleaning up internal bodies of all drugs and counseling to clean up minds: drugs would diminish, if not prevent, progression to employment and self-sufficiency by age 18. She even asked to meet with the CPS governing board in hopes of changing their minds: the meeting never happened. Money was running out for Bonnie and the program; after the last teen had successfully completed the program and financial supporters could not be found, she had to close it down and sell her home: she had been on disability with a tiny retirement fund during the three years she owned the home and conducted the program.
—— The three Federal incentives to CPS equate to CPS increasing its profit margin: just for kidnapping children for its numerous foster homes, which are paid for each child they take in; later CPS makes more money by adopting out the healthy ones: all with Uncle Sam’s approval.
—— Sam was reported saying, “We need a children’s army.” He should have added, “And we need to destroy the senior and elderly demographic;” because it is happening by having cut their social security income as well as health benefits: all of which recipients had paid for out of their hard earned wages over many years. As RDK reported many months ago, the senior and elderly demographic is the largest in the U.S. (in fact, in the world) and has become this planet’s disposable society.
Rhyli Mason Kidnapped: Portland, Oregon; Friday 07-29-11 at 5:00pm “Daddy” stole four-year old (4yo) girl, blond, blue eyes, about 3.0–feet tall of smiles and laughter:
—— It all began two years ago. Rhyli’s parents are Brittany and Ryan Mason. Rhyli was two at the time when her Dad got into minor trouble with the police, mainly because of using drugs: primarily marijuana. Then a theft at his Dad’s home occurred, for which Nick blamed Ryan and filed charges: later determined to have been a friend of Ryan’s.
—— Ultimately Ryan went to jail and Brittany struggled alone to raise Rhyli. Alas and despite a court order that she and Rhyli stay away from Ryan until he did all he was supposed to do, Brittany went back to him when he was released on probation. Alas, Ryan broke probation several times and never has lived up to CPS requirements, including having run to California with Rhyli. Ultimately and despite Brittany moving her and Rhyli out on their own and divorcing Ryan, CPS came in with false charges and took Rhyli illegally.
—— The details are not necessary in that Rhyli was not in the CPS system at that time; thus it was ruled that CPS had taken Rhyli illegally: custody of Rhyli then given to Brittany’s mother, María, a little over a year ago. Due to María’s job, the court also approved Brittany’s sister Danielle to care for Rhyli until a determination could be reached in Brittany’s case.
—— Now Rhyli was in the CPS system. Since that time, Brittany has jumped through the hoops of CPS in order to regain parental rights and custody of Rhyli. She has done everything they have demanded of her, plus went to school and graduated as a dental assistant and was about to be approved for return to custody when, last Friday 07-28-11, CPS struck without warning: social worker Jesse knocked on aunt Danielle’s door.
—— María was in Seattle, Washington to take her mother to the medical center and Brittany was at work, so Danielle was caring for Rhyli that day. Jesse stormed through the door and informed Danielle that she was taking custody of Rhyli and, in response to Danielle’s query, Jesse said she did not need a reason to take Rhyli.
—— Jesse then took Rhyli by the hand and told her, “We are going to go get a snack and have some fun, then we will meet your grandma at the CPS office around six o’clock!” Rhyli went with her a bit reluctantly. By this time, María was about an hour away from her Portland home when she received Danielle’s frantic call. María called her husband John as she drove straight to the CPS offices, where she arrived just a few minutes before six o’clock. John arrived a few minutes behind her.
—— When Jesse did not show up by seven o’clock, María called her and was stunned at Jesse’s response: “I never had any intentions of meeting you at the office. I’ve taken Rhyli to a foster home until this is settled. We received a call that you were doing drugs and not following our custody requirements and leaving Rhyli with a variety of unapproved people.” Not only had Jesse lied to Rhyli but the charges were false as well. Jesse’s timing was deliberate: the CPS office was closed, so no call to Jesse’s supervisor, and no judge would be in chambers. Rhyli would be in the foster home over the weekend and at least until Wednesday when a hearing for a different reason was to be convened.
—— María was devastated as she headed home and called her mother. She would not be able to talk with even an attorney until Monday morning; perhaps, Rhyli’s advocate attorney could help. Surely this was a case for wrongful something or other, slander and defamation of character and anything else a lawyer might suggest. None of these came to fruition when the CPS appointed attorney for Rhyli told her that CPS did not have to have a reason for taking her out of the home.
—— At nine-fifteen that night, Jesse called María saying that Rhyli was crying and wanted to go home to grandma’s: would María please calm her down? She obviously turned to Rhyli and asked, “Do you want to talk to your grandma?” Rhyli replied, “Is it time for me to go to bed?”  To Rhyli Jesse said, “No, no. You don’t have to go to bed.” María instantly said, “I do not appreciate you lying to my granddaughter.” It was, after all, Rhyli’s bedtime. Before handing the phone to Rhyli, Jesse retorted, “I can cut this call any time I want!” Then, Rhyli took the phone sobbing and begged María to come get her; she wanted to “come home.”
—— The number on María’s phone showed “blocked,” so it was suspected that Jesse had taken Rhyli home with her instead of a foster home. This was denied in court when Jesse claimed the call was from the foster home; and Jesse denied she lied to Rhyli and denied telling Danielle that she would meet María at the CPS office around six o’clock. Danielle brought six witnesses into court testifying to the contrary; to no avail.
—— It would be Saturday before María learned that Rhyli’s dad, Ryan, who had never done anything CPS required of him, had made the false claims to a female friend who then called it in to CPS. CPS had taken María’s granddaughter not only on false complaints but on hearsay as well! CPS did not attempt to investigate before deciding to take Rhyli out of María and Danielle’s care and despite the fact that Brittany had also been reinstated to care for Rhyli along with María and Danielle.
—— The hearing Wednesday, 08-03-11, resulted in the judge confirming what Rhyli’s attorney had told María, and the judge added that he could not rule either way in the case because his position is one of merely an arbitrator; no judge can rule in a CPS case or overrule a CPS decision: supported by earlier Federal laws and enforced under Homeland Security. Apparently, holding CPS hearings in a court of law is all for public show and nothing more.
—— Now, María and her girls must wait for the ‘permanent’ custody hearing previously scheduled for 08-17-11. It was then that Brittany had hoped to regain custody of her daughter; now, it is anyone’s guess how that will go, considering the CPS supervisor had told María that permanent custody would be determined between CPS or Brittany or Ryan. María would not even be considered; which would be fine if they return custody to Brittany.
——To the contrary, the CPS supervisor spoke with Brittany this Sabbath eve morning, and told her that they likely will give permanent custody to Nick Mason; Rhyli’s paternal grandfather, who is known to the courts as an alcohol and drug abuser, although he has been clean for the last several months. Nick also is an abuser, sober or drunk. She also informed Brittany that Rhyli is in a loving, million dollar mansion and is very happy, having fun playing with the other children. This is not to be believed: she does not like being separated from her loving family, who has done everything to keep Rhyli from becoming just another CPS number.
—— Based on the events so far and the CPS reputation, we feel that the supervisor’s statement is to steer Brittany and her family toward proving Nick as unfit instead of CPS: being a possible reality, they will attempt to prove both Nick and CPS unfit. The family’s concern is that CPS will take Rhyli permanently with the intent of adopting her out of the system: time to make another $12,000 for CPS coffers.
—— The insanity of all this is CPS returns children to abusive homes without fuss, only to see them killed, yet take happy children out of stable environments where they are well cared for, much loved and never neglected. CPS is destroying an otherwise happy, very intelligent little girl and other such children across this nation: all for the sake of the almighty dollar plus what people are willing to pay in adoption fees for these kids.
—— Please share this story with everyone you know. It would be most appreciated if you also complain to Fox News’ human interest reporter in your area, requesting that they urge their Oregon sister to air this case; mail complaints to the Child Protective Services in Portland, Oregon; and, contact your local newspaper human interest reporter and urge them to publish this case as front page news. The cruelty CPS levels against children must be stopped!
Closing Words: “Our God is bigger, Our God is able!” HE IS. Remember God’s promises– never forget–keep the faith in God’s assurances and obey Him from a heart of love. We are Satan’s prey, always have been; so do not fall into fear or deceit thus lose God’s Seal, thereby changing your Seal of Victory– blessed to have no part in the second resurrection– to that of Satan’s victim Marked Twice Dead for the second resurrection.
—— Share our Oils with everyone: none of us can instantly identify the wicked or the lukewarm or cold. We must speak to all who will hear yet, by instruction, must walk away from they who argue God’s Word or express no interest after a second warning. Pray unceasing for Rhyli Mason and her family: Our God is able!
——Keep the faith, Brethren, during this our final exam; stand strong, Obey God and Christ; harm no man or beast; and know Christ said of this era, “I come quickly.” If Sunday confronts you before then, spread your arms wide as you say, “Take your best shot then watch Jesus raise me up just as the Father raised Him. Be warned and repent, for my Lord and Savior comes quickly!”
Much love & prayers, Sister BonnieQ
Update from last week’s Sabbath Extra Oil and received one this Sabbath, which will be reproduced in next week’s Oil:
PEACE CONVOCATION OPENS WITH STRONG CALLS FROM GLOBAL VOICES
For immediate release: 19 May 2011
—— The International Ecumenical Peace Convocation (IEPC) formally opened on
Wednesday in Kingston, Jamaica, as theologians, faith leaders and the prime minister of Jamaica welcomed some 1,000 participants from more than 100 countries.
—— Keynote speaker Canon Dr Paul Oestreicher, a globally recognized peace activist, called for churches across all spiritual traditions to strengthen their position on peace, even while recognizing their own history of declaring war in the name of God.
—— “Under the sign of the cross, Christian nations conquered other nations,” he said. “In the crusades, they massacred the children of Islam. That has not been forgotten. We, just like our brothers and sisters in Islam, regard those who die in battle as certain of a place in heaven.”
—— Oestreicher acknowledged that the path to peace is obstructed by political complexities.
—— “At the moment war, once it starts, is held by most of our neighbors to be honorable, probably necessary, and sometimes noble. Language disguises the bloody, cruel reality,” he said.
—— The Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, general secretary of the World Council of Churches (WCC), moderated the convocation’s opening session, which included an opening prayer service, greetings, and stories of churches seeking peace and reconciliation.
——  “I believe that God has called us here from many parts of the world to carry from your countries your experiences,” he said. “Many of you carry with you the realities of the injustice of violence.”
—— Those from the Caribbean region and Jamaica welcomed IEPC participants, many of whom were visiting Jamaica for the first time. Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding acknowledged his own country’s history of violence and, at the same time, its ingenuity and resilience in coping over the decades.
——  “I genuinely believe that we were all created by the same God,” he said. “The challenge is: how can we transform our discussion into a shared set of values that are universally accepted and sustained.”
—— Theologians began asking the questions that IEPC participants will wrestle with during the next week. Archbishop Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the department of external church relations of the Russian Orthodox Church, spoke of Christians and others across the globe who are daily exposed to humiliation and threats.
—— “The principle question we have to answer is what we as Christians can do together in the face of growing violence, aggression, exploitation and terror,” he said.
—— The IEPC comes at the end of a Decade to Overcome Violence, an initiative of the WCC that strove to strengthen existing efforts and networks for preventing and overcoming violence, as well as inspire the creation of new ones.
—— The Rev. Dr Margot Kaessmann, a Lutheran theologian and minister in the Evangelical Church of Germany, said that IEPC participants are part of a long and complex journey that only begins this week.
—— “Our economies profit from violence and war that we lament,” she said. “Religion plays a vital role with regard to peace-making and overcoming violence. It is time that religion refuses to be misused by pouring oil into the fire of war and hatred.”
—— The opening plenary was preceded by an opening worship and prayer service filled with song and prayers for peace. The events of the afternoon were closed with a prayer from Jamaican Archbishop Donald Reece of the Roman Catholic Church.
—— Both events were broadcast live around the world through a video stream available through the IEPC website www.overcomingviolence.org (Link: http://www.oikoumene.org/index.php?RDCT=a9a041a49a7e2380ab34 ). The morning
plenary throughout the remainder of the IEPC will also be broadcast live through a video stream from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm local time (GMT – 5 hours).
—— The World Council of Churches promotes Christian unity in faith, witness and service for a just and peaceful world. An ecumenical fellowship of churches founded in 1948, today the WCC brings together 349 Protestant, Orthodox, Anglican and other churches (Islam, pagan, etc) representing more than 560 million Christians in over 110 countries, and works cooperatively with the Roman Catholic Church. The WCC general secretary is Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, from the [Lutheran] Church of Norway. Headquarters: Geneva, Switzerland.
RDK Note
:
Pope John Paul II called to (wanted) our children and young adults: on his deathbed, thousands of young people gathered in the Vatican square. The Pope sent a message to them by the Cardinal caring for him, as reported last year by RDK, “I called and you have come.” The Vatican is behind this and is determined to gain total control of the world’s children. We have advised that the moment our children enter public school instantly they become wards of the State; albeit, we still retained most parental rights. That is about to change according to Parental Rights Org. (PRO). The PRO quote below is verbatim, with exception of noted summarized parts for the sake of brevity, the intent remaining as intended:
Parental Rights, presented by the Parental Rights Organization, will be no rights at all.
—— “The right of parents to bring up and education of their children has been upheld for centuries. Today those rights are coming under assault from federal judges who deny or refuse them. Further danger to the child-parent relationship is international law seeking to undermine parental roles also is coming. Together, these threats converge to a “perfect storm” looming over child-parent relationships. (summary)
—— “In the early 1980s, a landmark parental rights case reached the Washington State Supreme Court; a case involving 13-yo Sheila Marie Sumey, whose parents were alarmed when they found evidence of her partaking in illegal drug doings and increasing sexual acts. They immediately grounded Sheila’s from negative influences. (summary)
—— “When Sheila went to school counselors about her parent’s actions, she was told she could be liberated from her parents due to “conflict between parent and child.” Sheila notified Child Protective Services (CPS) was subsequently removed from her home and placed in foster care. (summary)
—— “Her parents challenged social workers in court.
They lost. Even though the judge found Sheila’s parents had enforced reasonable rules in a proper manner, the State law still gave CPS authority to split the Sumey family and take Sheila away.” (summary) 1
DANGEROUS PRECEDENT: “Parental rights are under U.S. attack with the first threat originating in the federal court system. As this story shows, a growing disregard for parental rights is spreading in our nation’s courts. (summary)
—— “Across the country, judges are beginning to deny the vital role of parents in their children’s lives, instead inserting government into the “parental” role. This dangerous claim is leading to the severance of child-parent relationships in numerous instances—removals causing unnecessary pain to children and parents.
—— “A Washington State 13-year-old boy was removed from his parents after he complained to school counselors that his parents took him to church too often. His school counselors encouraged him to call Child Protective Services, which led to his removal and placement in foster care. It was only after the parents agreed to a judge’s decree of less frequent church attendance that they were able to get their son.” 2  (summary) HANGING BY A THREAD: “Not all judges hold a low view of parental rights. Some, like Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, believe parental rights are “inalienable rights” of Americans detailed in the Declaration of Independence but increasingly they are finding it difficult to rule in favor of parental rights when it is not explicitly included in the language of the Constitution. (summary)
—— “Troxel vs. Granville: the last major parental rights case heard by the Supreme Court, Scalia himself denied parental rights the status of an enforceable constitutional right. Other federal court judges are following in his footsteps, citing a belief that federal courts can protect no right unless explicitly stated in the Constitution. (summary)
—— “
The declining support of parental rights found on federal levels has opened the door to a blatant disregard of parental rights within our nation’s lower courts. Parental rights violations are increasing across the country as courts exchange parental rights for government control of U.S. children. The right of parents to raise and education their children hangs by a thread. (summary)
—— “A West Virginia mother was shocked when a circuit judge and a family court judge ordered her to share custody of her 4-year-old daughter with two of her babysitters. Referring to the sitters as “psychological co-parents,” the justices awarded full custody to them, only permitting the mother to visit her daughter four times a week at McDonalds. Eventually she was granted primary custody but forced to continue to share her daughter with the sitters. When her case finally reached West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals in October 2007, the stressed mother was relieved to be granted full custody of her daughter. (summary)
—— “In their October 25 opinion Supreme Court justices wrote they were “deeply troubled by the disregard” for the mother’s rights. One justice referred her right as a “paramount world right.” Chief Justice Robin Davis summed up the case in a simple question, “Why does a natural parent have to prove fitness when she has never been found unfit?'” 3
 (summary)
THE THREAT FROM INTERNATIONAL LAW
:
“The precarious state of parental rights in our nation is reason for serious concern. With cases like these filling courts, every parent should be concerned about protecting and preserving their rights. But another storm is rapidly forming. International law seeks to empower the government to intrude upon the child-parent relationship is an increasing threat. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), a seemingly harmless treaty with dangerous implications for U.S. families is nearing possible U.S. ratification. (summary)
—— “If this treaty becomes binding upon our country, the government will have the power to intrude in a child’s life by its definition of “the best interests of the child.” The scenarios that could and are occurring as a result of this perilous notion both manifold and frightening. (summary)
—— “Under UNCRC, instead of due process, government agencies would have the power to override your parental choices at their whim because they determine what is in “the best interest of the child.” In essence, UNCRC applies legal status of abusive parents to all parents. This means the burden of proof falls on parents to prove to the State they are good parents—it should fall on the State to prove their investigation is not without cause.” (summary)
A SHELTER IN THE STORM: “There is only one solution to this imminent storm: a constitutional amendment places current Supreme Court doctrine protecting parental rights into explicit language of the U.S. Constitution. This amendment will shelter the child-parent relationship from the coming storm, ensuring parents have the right to raise and educate their children. (summary)
—— “No government, regardless of good intentions, can replace a parent’s love and nurture in the child’s life. Parents care, not because their children are “wards” for whom they are responsible. Parents are willing to face danger, sacrifice, hardship and heartache to ensure the best for their kids. (summary)
—— “Learn about protecting parental rights through a constitutional amendment, and join the campaign now. We must not wait until it’s too late. Take the time to sign the petition to protect parental rights today.” (summary)
“2. This was not a reported decision and personal names are withheld in such cases as a matter of course. Our source for this information was Michael Farris, J.D., who advised the parents relative to this case.
“3. In Re: Visitation and Custody of Senturi N.S.V., 221 W.Va. 159, 652 S.E. 2d 490 (2007)
Summary of PROPOSED PARENTAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION:
—— “SECTION 1: “The liberty of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children is a fundamental right.”
—— SECTION 2: “Neither the United States nor any state shall infringe upon this right without demonstrating that its governmental interest as applied to the person is of the highest order and not otherwise served.”
—— SECTION 3: “No treaty may be adopted nor shall any source of international law be employed to supersede, modify, interpret, or apply to the rights guaranteed by this article.”
Ten things you need to know about the structure of the CRC: “It is a treaty that creates binding rules of law. It is no mere statement of altruism.1.  Its effect would be binding on U.S. families, courts and policy-makers.2. Children of other nations would not be impacted or helped in any direct way by our ratification.3.
—— “The CRC would automatically override almost all U.S. laws on children and families due the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause in Article VI.4. CRC has some elements that are self-executing, but others will require employing legislation.  Federal courts would have the power to determine which provisions are self-executing.5.  The courts would have the power to directly enforce provisions that are self-executing.6.  Congress would have the power to directly legislate on all subjects necessary to comply with the treaty. This would constitute the most massive shift of power from states to the federal government in U.S. history.7.  (summary)
—— “A committee of 18 experts from other nations, in Geneva, has authority to issue official interpretations of the treaty entitled to binding weight in U.S. courts and legislatures. This effectively transfers authority for all these policies to this foreign committee.8.  (summary)
—— “Under international law, the treaty overrides our Constitution.9. Reservations, declarations or understandings intended to modify our duty to comply with will be void if determined inconsistent with the object and purpose of the treaty.” 10. (summary)
Ten things you need to know about the substance of the CRC:Children would have the ability to choose their own religion but parents would have life by grounding her the authority to give their children advice about religion.13. The best interest of the child principle would give the government the ability to override every decision made by every parent if a government worker disagreed with the parent’s decision.14. (summary)
—— “A child’s “right to be heard” would allow him/her) to seek governmental review of every parental decision with which a child disagreed.15.  According to existing analysis, it would be illegal for a nation to spend more on national defense than on children’s welfare.16.  Children would acquire a legally enforceable right to leisure.17. (summary)
—— “Christian schools refusing to teach “alternative worldviews” and teach Christianity as the only true religion “fly in the face of article 29” of the treaty.18. Allowing parents to opt their children out of sex education has been held as out of compliance with CRC.19. Children would have the right to reproductive health information and services, including abortions, without parental knowledge or consent.20.  (summary)
—— “Parents would no longer administer reasonable spankings of their children.11. A murderer aged 17 years and 11 months and 29 days at the time of his crime could no longer be sentenced to life in prison.” 12.  (summary)
Robertson, 124 U.S. 190 (1888): “By the Constitution of the U.S., a treaty and a statute are placed on the same footing, and if the two are inconsistent, the one last in date will control, provided the stipulation of the treaty on the subject is self-executing.” (summary)
—— “Vienna Convention (supra) and Article 2 (g):  “‘party’ means a State which has consented to the treaty and for which the treaty is in force” United States Constitution, Article VI (supra, Note 1) (summary)
—— “U.S. Supreme Court, Medellin v. Texas, 552 U.S. ___ (2008), at 170 L.Ed. 2d 190, 219, “Whether the treaties underlying a judgment are self-executing so judgment is directly enforceable as domestic law in courts is a matter for Court to decide.” (summary)
—— “Inter-Agency Standing Committee Reference Group on Humanitarian Action and Human Rights, Frequently Asked Questions on International Humanitarian, Human Rights, and Refugee Law, (2002: “Human rights law contains provisions obliging states to implement its rules, whether immediately or progressively. The object and purpose of human rights conventions, it would seem, are to promote respect for human rights by having countries—mutually—assume legal obligations to respect and ensure recognized rights in accordance with international standards. Even friends of the U.S.  have objected that its reservations are incompatible with that object and purpose and are invalid . . . The end is fast coming and far too many are not prepared. Dear Remnant, be strong to the end, harming no one and fearing no person, have no need to defend Truth, do not debate or argue God’s Word; for those who argue and debate are determined that you accept lies thus die. Know that the worst will last an exceedingly short time, then Jesus will be in the clouds calling our names to take us up and escort us to the safe haven of heaven. To all parents, do not do as the above laws demand; raise your children as God says, not sparing the rod when your kids rebel against God by violating His Law.
Much love and prayers,
Extra Oil: Satan’s Artillery
Satan’ weapons; Healing flesh & mind; Vatican’s WCC Int’l Ecumenical Peace Conference 17 May 2011— what does it mean? COMING NEXT WEEK: No Parental Rights soon;
Extra Oil: Satan’s Artillery
—— There seems to be confusion about Satan’s firepower versus God’s weapons of war. Some believe “Satan controls earth’s elements and the catastrophes they cause resulting in death and destruction; that is, whenever God allows him to use His weapons.” However, RDK begs to differ with such a teaching. Our findings in the Old Testament are that God not only showed us but said the following make up His arsenal, which are all natural elements: snow, hail, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, tornados, tsunamis, landslides, etc. God uses the arsenal to demonstrate His wrath and for war; the former demonstrated in both the Old Testament and Revelation as well as this Laodicea era.
—— If Satan were allowed to use God’s weapons it would foster confusion: for instance, we would not be able to discern whether we were seeing God’s wrath or Satan’s cruelty. We could not discern the difference between punishment or test or annihilation. We would not be able to determine earth’s end close or far off.
—— At no time has God given Satan use of His weapons, any more than the U.S. would willingly allow its enemy-of-war the use of its armaments— discounting what it sells to ally nations and what is on the black market— and neither is there any statement anywhere in the Bible indicating God had or does allow such use. Proof offered was Job 1:10 and 12:19, neither of which imply that Satan uses the elements against us. Sodom, Gomorrah, and Babylon, as well as the entire world in Revelation, are perfect examples of God’s wrath by His weapons, which are random but will worsen beyond our finite imagination when Christ comes to retrieve His Remnant.
—— People always want someone to blame for all catastrophes that happen to them and/or others, whether it is by man or elements: “God does not do those things!” They prefer to believe God is a God of only Love, which Sunday teaches as one of its lies, despite the fact God declared Himself also a “God of war” and revealed His artillery; He also is a good parent who issues discipline and punishment as needed, and who feels every emotion: anger, joy, laughter, grief, vengeance; the latter of which we are denied.
—— Depression, on the other hand, is a body chemistry-induced mental disorder— which can be permanent or temporary depending on the person, as we learned about the man on the island where Jesus cured him of a legion of demons— thus God does not experience depression or burnout; the latter of which is due to one having endured too much on his or her plate for too long but God will take it away if the person is His: it has been determined that BonnieQ experienced burnout, for depression does not affect memory but burnout does.
—— Those are just two of Satan’s weapons against mankind as well as various diseases and other mental disorders, to name only a few: starvation, injuries, birth defects (God uses to test parents and child), bipolar, paranoia, psychopath, schizophrenia and more. God will allow diseases to remain but only as a thorn in our side, such as Paul experienced during his ministry life.
—— FYI: People also want to believe that, when a loved one dies, their beloved immediately goes to heaven to be with our Lord: another lie from Sunday’s ministers, when consoling a survivor and based on a single scripture, “the spirit returneth from whence it came.” A wealth of verses reveal that our personal spirit sleeps in the grave while, if the person died in Christ and they have the Holy Spirit upon them at the time, it is only the Holy Ghost who returns to heaven at the instant of death: He is no longer needed.
—— There is, however, a second understanding of that verse. First, we are reminded that God did not tell Adam he would instantly die if he ate of the forbidden fruit but, ultimately, he did die. So it is with our personal spirit: we were not told that upon death we instantly would go to heaven, but our spirit will go to heaven later— at the first resurrection. That is the Truth Sunday does not speak, just as the serpent did not speak the Truth of the first death appointed to Adam.
—— Another lie by one verse is that the Holy Spirit is God’s Seal, “whereby the Holy Spirit” (Eph 4:30); despite “whereby,” according to Webster’s Dictionary, means “administered by.” The Greek Dictionary defines it “who,” thus “who seals” a person, that being the Holy Ghost. The meanings are the same. A living entity, corporeal or spiritual, cannot be a Seal of Authority; only an inanimate thing can be a unique Seal, IF it meets all criteria for a seal, mark, token, sign. ~~ end FYI
—— Satan’s weapons are Biblically set out as a variety of illnesses both mental and physical: incurable diseases, insanity, lies, illusions, television, radio, computers and false doctrines by his false prophets (religions) that only appear Christian. He has the power to tempt with earth’s riches. He is armed with drugs and alcohol. On the other hand, Lucifer cannot kill or create a human and cannot forcibly take their soul: he can accept a soul IF the person is willing to give over to Satan his or her absolute devotion in exchange for a healing of whatever malady including financial. He certainly can remove whatever he has put upon a person, but then so can God.
——As God does use Satan’s artillery for chastisement, punishment, identifier, and tests, Satan is NOT allowed use of God’s weapons: confirms God’s promise, “I do not bring these ills upon you but, if you give them to me, I will turn them into blessings.” Satan cannot prevent God in any way or stop God’s weapons, but God can prevent Satan at any time He deems appropriate. It is true that God uses Satan as a rod of correction, chastisement, punishment or to test our faith, patience and to humble or identify; but, those come in forms of sickness, disease, financial loss and the like, which Satan delivers only when commanded by God and God determines the rod’s striking force— “Spare the rod, spoil the child:” which also applies to us as parents.
—— God using Satan: say a tornado strikes an area, some homes and businesses are destroyed and a few or many people die, yet others remain untouched, one being a loss and the other, only a few feet from the touched, is untouched. Those touched are God either saying, “You need to repent”, or if one of His died He is saying, “I am sparing you from the worst terrors to come,” or one of His is merely touched and He says, “This is a test of your faith and devotion to me.” To who loves the Lord but is not healed in the flesh His statement is, “My grace is sufficient for you.” Therefore, “financial, goods and/or emotional losses” are felt by whom God deemed worthy of correction, sparing or to test— in the latter case there are seven (7) reasons, any one or more of which applies to each individual: i.e. Paul was not healed for seven reasons, the same as BonnieQ, see “Are Christians Guaranteed Healing;” applicable to the above).
World Council of Churches – News:
—— RDK: Back 2000, after hearing on the news a report of the WCC having held a conference in another country and who attended, our first thought was the World Church of whom we had been looking for according to prophecy. We conducted a web search and found the WCC website which, at the time was fully accessible. We printed out a copy of its Charter but could not find a membership list.
—— We then sent an email suggesting membership but would like to know “who are the members.” They sent the list to us, which included all religions both pagan and denominational as well as leaders of all nations; a copy of which we believe is in our research hard-copy files.
—— Several months ago, the WCC began sending emails to us, stating that an inquiry had been made by “Bonnie Williamson,” her former married name. This was done in order to impede tracking us: forgot about the email address, which has not changed during the ensuing years.
—— We assume the WCC went into their historical email files to find our address; likely to determine “why” BonnieQ had not joined and, today, attempting to determine what she is doing with the information. Their first 3 emails were blank with no link to the subject line title. They must have read the Extra Oil in which we advised that they were now sending blank emails; then Thursday, 05/12, a second email was sent including the name Cardinal Koch and reference to Palestine, but the body was blank. The following is verbatim what was in the first email:
INTERNATIONAL ECUMENICAL PEACE CONVOCATION 17 MAY
For immediate release: 11 May 2011
—— With the voices of speakers including Martin Luther King III and German Lutheran pastor Dr Margot Kässmann, the International Ecumenical Peace Convocation (IEPC) will begin next week. This major ecumenical event organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) is to take place at the University of the West Indies (Link: http://www.oikoumene.org/index.php?RDCT=2dd6dd11d22126743aeb (UWI) in Kingston, Jamaica.
—— “Glory to God and Peace on Earth” will be the theme of the IEPC which aims at witnessing to the Peace of God as a gift and responsibility of the churches and the world. The convocation runs from 17-25 May.
—— The IEPC is the culmination of the Decade to Overcome Violence (DOV) programme authorized by the WCC at its 1998 Harare Assembly and initiated in 2001. The event will bring some 1,000 participants from around the globe, representing WCC member constituencies, ecumenical and civil society networks working in the area of peace and justice.
—— Hosted by the Jamaican Council of Churches and the Caribbean Council of Churches, the IEPC will be the major ecumenical event prior to the 10th Assembly of the WCC in 2013 in Busan, Korea.
—— “The IEPC comes at a time when the world is experiencing significant political paradigm shifts, and much of this is coming with violence and conflict,” said WCC general secretary Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit. “This event brings the peace movements and church leaders together and offers space and time to explore the role of the church and religion as peacemaker. We will ask one another what it means to follow Christ today and tomorrow.”
—— “But peace is not just about ending conflicts,” Tveit continued. “It is also about seeking justice and building sustainable conditions for peace. We find the need for just peace in the economy, peace among peoples and cultures and peace within communities and with the earth.”
—— A culture of just peace: [implies “ruled by law”]
—— The primary goal of the IEPC is to contribute to the efforts to create a Culture of just peace and to facilitate new networks that will focus on peace in communities and the world.
—— Four thematic foci of the IEPC will be on peace in the community, peace with the earth, peace in the marketplace and peace among the peoples. These themes will be addressed through various components of the convocation – spiritual life, Bible studies, plenary sessions, workshops and seminars.
—— “The IEPC will be an occasion to reaffirm the ecumenical family’s commitment to just peace by way of proclaiming a call to just peace,’’ said Dr Mathews George Chunakara, director of the Commission of the Churches on International Affairs  who is heading the IEPC preparation and planning team of the WCC.
—— “The IEPC will also be an occasion for seeking to assess and strengthen the church’s position on peace, provide new opportunities to establish networking and deepen our collective efforts and joint commitments to processes and avenues that will lead to a culture of just peace in a complex world situation,” Chunakara said.
—— On Sunday 22 May 2011, participants of the IEPC will join in a worldwide event when churches are invited to celebrate  (Link:
http://www.oikoumene.org/index.php?RDCT=6935600bd70acca360a4 ) God’s gift of peace. Those who take part will be together in spirit, song and prayer with the IEPC participants in Jamaica, united in the hope of peace.
—— Speakers at the convocation include King and Kässmann, the WCC general secretary Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, Rev. Dr Paul Gardner of Jamaica, Ernestina Lopez Bac of Guatemala, Metropolitan Dr Hilarion of Volokolamsk of the Russian Orthodox Church, Canon Paul Oestreicher of New Zealand and a dozen others from churches and religious communities around the world.
—— The daily plenary sessions and discussions will be broadcast live via webstreaming. To watch the sessions, go to the IEPC web page www.overcomingviolence.org (Link:
http://www.oikoumene.org/index.php?RDCT=d037db7764c25ede8e87 ).
—— On Friday 20 May, a peace concert will be held in Emancipation Park, Kingston, featuring a number of Jamaican acts including the Fab Five, one of the top bands in Jamaica.
—— The World Council of Churches promotes Christian unity in faith, witness and service for a just and peaceful world. An ecumenical fellowship of churches founded in 1948, today the WCC brings together 349 Protestant, Orthodox, Anglican and other churches representing more than 560 million Christians in over 110 countries, and works cooperatively with the Roman Catholic Church. The WCC general secretary is Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, from the [Lutheran] Church of Norway. Headquarters: Geneva, Switzerland.
—— RDK: Contrary to the Pope’s statement that all Christians need to unite, what is not included in that last paragraph is the fact WCC membership also includes all pagan religions, such as Wiccan and Druidism, as well as Buddhism, Islam, and all other false religions in the world. These are on the membership list received in 2000 A.D. We learned in the last year that the SDA General Conference also has been a longstanding member but had required the Vatican to NOT show them as a member: that has changed according to a Vatican finding included in a previous Extra Oil, this being one of the reasons a number of SDA members have left Conference churches.
—— It is the Vatican’s World Church, by way of its ruling body the WCC, who will very soon give the order to eradicate Christ’s Remnant church on the premise that we are “the cause of a lack of unity and peace, that cause having brought about God’s unmitigated wrath upon the planet.” Setting up the world for this direction was in a WCC mandate from the Pope last year directing all denominational leaders to urge their members to “civil disobedience” against the Remnant.
—— Those leaders fear no repercussions from police or the Federal Government since all denominational leaders, by way of President Bush the junior, were made an agency under Homeland Security with all the rights and powers thereof. The WCC premise is that if we do not repent and join them, either directly or indirectly through her daughters, they must annihilate us in order to stop God’s wrath to bring about world peace. It will be interesting to see if WCC sends an email to us regarding such a mandate by the Pope.
The end is fast coming and far too many are not prepared. Dear Remnant, be strong to the end, harming no one, feel no need to defend Truth, do not debate or argue God’s Word; for those who argue and debate are determined that you will accept lies and die. Know that the worst will last an exceedingly short time, then Jesus will be in the clouds calling our names as He takes us up to Him and He will escort us to the safe haven of heaven. To all parents, do not do as these laws demand; raise your children as God says, not sparing the rod when the kids rebel against God.
Reasoning God’s Word, ©2006 Bonita M Quesinberry:
How does one effectively reason God’s Word without ALL of God’s Word, or reason with man’s use of one or two scriptures to support purported beliefs; those same one or two scriptures that, ultimately, can bring about one’s own destruction? To use so few of God’s Word, regarding a specific subject, is to reveal one who has been taught in and lives by man’s way instead of God’s; and it reveals those who seek to justify self still in sin while contrarily claiming Christ’s sacrifice allows of it; and, he or she desires to be always right: as opposed to one who seeks only God’s Truth by the Holy Spirit, with an understanding that man’s way is totally unacceptable to God. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
Detractors commonly argue, “That isn’t what my church teaches!” Hear between the lines, “I believe what my denomination teaches and never bother to look it up or study it for myself and I’m not going to, because I like what they teach.” As God stated, “They who refuse the Truth, love death.” In the end they perish for denying His Truth when presented to them. (II Cor 4:3-7; Gala 1:6-7; II Tim 2:15; 4:3-4; II Peter 2:1-22)
An example for today is how various denominations, Saturday or Sunday, teach the subject of divorce— One scripture to justify any reason the person may have given for having divorced his or her spouse; one scripture to justify marrying again, one or two or even three times again. To understand God’s opinion of divorce, one must have ALL of His Word on the subject.
Alas, the majority of professing Christians do not want to hear His Truth and go on approving of divorce for a variety of reasons not of God as well as approving remarriage for a variety of justifications also not of God. Satan brings to his huge table what the people want to eat: he does not care that it is poison he feeds his guests, knowing they will eat it as if gourmet delicacies; little knowing they dine on Lucifer’s putrid vomit.
Those who seek God’s Truth via the Holy Spirit already know or, at the least, suspect they are either “lukewarm” or “cold,” yet not understanding the meaning of either condition in Revelation 3:15-18‘s Laodicea age; having been taught in error by men who preach according to man’s seminary ways. Jesus said, “Beware pastors and preachers and lawyers; for they speak not with God’s mouth but teach from the lusts of their hearts.”
Christ then defined “babes” as those who have not been tutored by man and revealed that only they deliver God’s Truth: the ones no longer “drinking milk,” rather eating solid food as “mature” in God’s Word by the Holy Spirit— they “perfect praise and truth.” He did not say this about a single educated religious leader. His laborers do not teach from corporate Christendom’s global pulpits but only because they are not welcome there.
It is not a sin to be wrong, IF a sin is committed in ignorance; but it is a sin to be wrong if one does not seek then implement what is right by God’s perfect standard. This is to say, look up all references provided in order to understand why man’s seminary teachings have fatal flaws and to comprehend the true nature of God that we are to emulate.
To read the Bible is an endeavor of moving through the Word from beginning to end; to study is quite another and requires God’s instructions on how and why and whom to trust as a teacher. Satan is clever, for he knows that people are to study God’s word topically— by subject as it were– so, yes, he even provides Topical Bibles of his own. But, check them out: they are grossly incomplete. For instance, look up the word “sabbath” in any Topical Bible found in Bible Book Stores. In one column might be, at most, six scriptures quoted then followed by a different subject word.
Because earth’s time is rapidly drawing to a close, in 2003 God provided the world’s only exhaustive AKJV Topical Bible of all critical-to-salvation subjects: “Truth Gathering.” To find the same topic as above, turn to c.12 “Saturday vs. Sunday.” Readers will find FIFTEEN pages (size 8.5 x 11) of God’s scriptures about only His and Christ’s Sabbath day. The person studying now can learn God’s opinion on this weighty matter. There is a chapter on “God’s Law” providing over 50 pages of text, another on “Husbands, Wives, Parents” that includes all of God’s Word on divorce.
Chapter 12 of “Truth Gathering” enlightens further— How many times over the years have people heard from their pulpit of choice, “Jesus gave two new commandments to replace the original Ten hung on the cross: the two royal laws of love.” No! First, the Ten Precepts were not hung on the cross, only the sacrificial Ordinances. Second, Christ gave only one “new” commandment as set out in John 13:34, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another: as I have loved you, also love one another.” He was instructing His followers, not the world of potential proselytes. God first spoke the two Royal Laws of love in the Old Testament. Jesus reiterated them because the Pharisees had failed to teach those two “weightier matters of God’s Law.” They withheld that the Statutes could not be obeyed without first loving God and mankind. But, we digress—
To reason is NOT to debate and/or argue; to reason is to provide ALL of God’s relevant scriptures concerning another person’s specific Bible question or belief error. Then, the one who asked, or was warned, must choose either to not read for self or look up verses provided by seeking Holy Spirit guidance and understanding during study. Praise the Lord, it is not our job to convince anyone of God’s Truth: it is God’s task alone, for He “chooses whom He will to follow His Son.” We are sent only to deliver His Truth.
To read without requesting Holy Spirit guidance is to unwittingly invite Satan to interpret God’s Word for the reader, a task in which he takes great delight: Lucifer’s explanation, in the end, takes the reader down with him into a pit of fire and brimstone. As God said, “Satan slays his own.” The Bible clearly reveals Beelzebub using God’s Word to achieve man’s destruction, as noted when Jesus was tempted by him in the wilderness for 40 days and nights. He continues to use God’s Word today in a twisted manner in order to deceive and lead astray as he delivers it from man’s corporate pulpits in the guise of Christian synagogues and through man’s wicked inventions of media. His time is critically short: in desperation, he twists and changes God’s meanings, even his own version, almost daily: as seen in TBN broadcasts by Jack Van Impe and many others that TBN airs.
Today, Satan’s minions encourage people to embrace common beliefs among all religions, including pagan, instead of focusing on the differences: “because all believe in the same God and Christ, and by embracing only this then world peace will reign”— straight out of the Vatican’s World Church, despite God’s Word saying there will be no peace in this old world. What have sheep to do with goats? There is only One God, One Truth, and One Way: Jesus exemplified it. All else comes straight out of the pits of hell.
To say, “I disagree with you” or “that is just your opinion” after another has effectively reasoned God’s Word, is not to disagree with the reasoner but to oppose the Holy Spirit; which puts the disgruntled in danger of damnation for the unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. To deny what the Spirit has given is perceived by God as calling the Spirit a liar. He cannot lie. This applies also to the word of prophecy given only to God’s few prophets: deny it and you deny the Holy Spirit.
If one disagrees after ALL of God’s Word is provided, it is wiser to keep one’s mouth shut; for by remaining silent, perhaps God in His mercy will allow His Spirit to reveal Truth to the one who disagreed but avoided debate. Only “a fool who loves death” argues God’s Word in order to justify living in sin while professing Christ: Jesus accused these of “flattering lips” then stated that He does not know them.
Please understand: to violate even one of God’s Twelve Commandments is to continue in sin: be wise and consider the Fourth Statute of the Ten in Exodus 20:8-11. Far too many professing Christians are in blatant disobedience of this precept, if not one or more of the remaining nine and certainly the first three Statutes— following pagan holidays in Jesus’ name. God forbids us to argue and debate His Word that has been properly reasoned. It IS a good thing for the lukewarm and cold to ask questions and for Christ’s laborers to deliver only God’s Word in response. Proving God’s Word to an inquirer is NOT our power or job: it is God’s alone.
God’s Truth Speakers are instructed to reason “once or twice,” also considered a warning to an offender: we are to warn or have their blood on our hands. If the hearer rejects it after a second admonition, we are told, “It is because their mind is perverted. Walk away and never return to this person” (Titus 3:10-11). Once we have warned, as God said, their blood will be on their own hands if they do not repent. God goes on to say they condemn themselves by continuing in sin, despite having been warned.
There are so many sheep, in this end world of Laodicea, who are either lukewarm or cold and few laborers to reach them; thus, Truth Speakers don’t have time to argue with those who will never receive it: their rejection of the second admonition is God’s proof they will never accept and repent, else we would not have been instructed to move on after a second approach. To continue beyond a second warning is futile but, worse, it conveys a certain arrogant attitude of being wiser than God— “God chooses whom He will to follow His Son.” He made it abundantly clear that He never will choose those with perverted minds. They were given opportunity to accept but instead chose Satan’s way. Romans 9:15,18,21; Galatians 1:10-12; I Tim 6:3-5; II Tim 2:20,23-26; 3:1-5
Recently, a person who had never been baptized wanted to gain God’s Truth from one of Christ’s RDK sheep in order to become a true follower. A call to RDK voiced concern that, since salvation was taken off the table in 1991, the seeker might not be either lukewarm or cold thus bearing Satan’s mark. YES, salvation was taken away the moment we entered the Laodicea age, only the lukewarm and cold still have an option to repent; but do not let this trouble you, for there is a way for all others out there like this person, but only one way based on God’s Word and reflected in the findings below.
In learning about his/her childhood and as a young adult, it was found that he/she was raised on God’s Word but for so long had not understood thus strayed from God’s ways: despite actually believing in God and Christ— it is always during our youth that we stray. In this case, we can rely on God’s promise to parents who “raise up your children in the ways of the Lord, that when they are old they will not depart from it.” This person was “cold” but now sought Truth’s heat then came to it the instant heard. AMEN! All that remains is baptism to wash away his/her “past sins.” That too shall be done.
Dearest Sheep: keep your chins up, your eyes sharp and ears open, your back straight, speak and do only God’s Truth, seek out the lukewarm and cold, support and encourage and aid one another as well as pray unceasing for our Lord’s quick return. No matter whatsoever situation you might find yourself, at all times be as Jesus was: FEARLESS IN TRIALS, PERSECUTIONS AND/OR DEATH. Either or both confirm to whom you belong, so rejoice in your tribulations and thorny afflictions!
Much love in Christ,
Cinderella Syndrome
Cinderella Syndrome
©copyright 2007 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.
Cinderella Syndrome? Is this clinical terminology? It is and counselors use it as a diagnostic term to describe angry, out of control children who live with one parent and a stepparent or even abusive parents; kids who automatically assume that all stepparents and abusive parents are evil thus act out their confusion, sense of abandonment and rage. Several years ago, this issue was covered in a lesson about parenting; however, this syndrome also impacts marriages much more than people realize.
“The French Cendrillon,” penned by Charles Perrault in the 1690s, is believed to be the original “Cinderella;” of this latter, similar tales of wicked stepmothers and prince charming saving an abused princess are found in nearly all cultures. However, the originals were not written as children’s fairytales; they were novel length works intended for adults, which explains negatives in “Cinderella” that destructively impact children.
Tales such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty” create unrealistic, and often unfair, expectations of stepparents or abusive parents and future marriage partners. Many, but not all, children who grew up on these classic fairytales automatically assume stepparents are wicked and immediately will set out to derail that vile person who dared to disrupt their life: girls dreamed of being swept away by a strong Prince Charming, who saves their lives, loves them unconditionally, and gives them everything they want; and, our boys expect to become mesmerized by a beautiful, sweet, loving Princess, to whom they willingly would give the world on a silver platter. Both believe they will be saved from a wicked stepparent, or abusive parents, then go on to live happily ever after. In their world of make believe, life is sweet smelling roses void of thorns.
It’s irrelevant to have taught that these are just fairytales, not real life; especially if parental role models are less than examples of a godly union. A child is impacted at such a young age that he or she does not understand the explanation; and, if it be they also have a stepparent or later gain one or have an abusive parent, fairytales become all that much more of a realistic hope to him or her: an abusive stepparent or poor parental example transfers to a prince or princess with marriage being this child’s escape to perfect love, one that usually will fail miserably. When reality does not match the fairytale outcome, divorce courts open their doors and slam down a gavel with ominous finality on what only seems to have changed from wicked stepparents or vile parents to evil spouses.
Today, there are a number of excuses given courts of law to justify the abominable action of divorce: infidelity, abuse, abandonment, misrepresentation, going in different directions, no longer on the same emotional level, no longer “in love;” though the most popular excuse cited in legal petitions is irreconcilable differences: sounds better and neither party suffers public blame.
The point of divorcing: “I made a mistake. He isn’t my prince charming” or “she isn’t my beautiful princess;” albeit, the more popular phrase is, he or she “isn’t my soul mate.” And, they just KNOW that their soul mate is still out there somewhere patiently waiting for them; thus, adulterous remarriage becomes the solution.
Notice the word “excuses” above; for God considers not one of those excuses to be a valid reason for divorce. Although, He does allow a man to divorce, IF and only if his wife has committed adultery, but He does not allow a woman to divorce her husband for any reason. Jesus taught forgiveness; so even in cases of adultery, divorce is not God’s solution for troubled marriages.
It is sad that people are astounded when a couple reports having been married 40 or 50 years or, as the Quesinberry grandparents, married for 72 years when grandfather died at age 96. People instantly ask, “What’s your secret to staying married so long?” The Quesinberry’s would have said that, despite grandfather’s early infidelity and even abuse, God’s plan for marriage was the reason for longevity.
This Cinderella Syndrome defines marriage as it being all about “me, myself, and I:” what marriage can do for “me,” what the spouse can do for “me,” about how much the spouse loves “me.” To enter a marriage with such self-serving expectations is a sure ticket to divorce courts. On the other hand, God directs us to look outside self; therefore, marriage is supposed to be about loving the spouse and doing all we can for our spouse. It should not be about what the spouse can do for self.
Marriage also is about reflecting a oneness that mirrors our oneness with God; thus, marriage is all about pleasing God by our obedience to His earthly marriage rules. After all, marriage applies in this lifetime only; for in the eternal life there will be no one given in marriage. Our total focus then, as genderless spirit beings, will be our awesome Father and His Christ, our Lord and Saviour who is our future husband.
We, as parents, need to be aware of how fairytales might impact our children’s future behaviour; therefore, we need to be very cognizant of any negatives such stories might be forming in our kids’ minds. If negatives are there, then don’t allow those fairytales for young, impressionable children. Let them read them as adults who, hopefully, have been thoroughly taught God’s way by the time they read those fables.
And, of course, we need to be setting the very best possible examples for our children to follow. God’s Word provides everything we need to be great husbands and wives from the get go, to assure marital longevity void of becoming a national statistic. Being godly husbands and wives results in becoming the best parents. God’s Word tells each spouse what He expects of him and her, explains their respective duties designed for each— providing no room for focusing on whether or not the other spouse is doing what he or she should be doing— and God explains how to parent the children He loans to us.
The single biggest mistake couples make is to believe they must please their spouse or lose him or her. We never can fully please another human, not as long as we are in these finite bodies and Satan roams around looking for victims to devour with lies. But without any doubt, we can please God: we’ve only to follow His rules for husbands and wives, which directs us to focus on being the best self can be without any regard for what the other spouse is doing or not doing.
As with all things concerning our heavenly Father, we are judged solely on self-behaviour; so, in reality, it does not matter what our husband or wife is doing right or wrong. In fact, if we are committed and work at being a godly person, spouse and parent, odds are in our favor that, eventually, the noncompliant spouse will change his or her behaviour simply by what they see in us. The Word charges, “Who are you to say your mate will never change?” Refer to “Discipline Self.”
Wives and mothers, are you teaching your daughters how to be godly women and showing your sons how to recognize a godly woman so that, when it is time, he will make a wise choice in his choice of mate; your children seeing it in your behaviour and reinforced by your teaching of God’s Word on the topic? Husbands and fathers, are you raising your sons to be godly men and showing your daughters how to recognize a godly man so they will make a wise choice in husbands; showing them by your behaviour and instructing them according to God’s Word on the subject?
Every answer we need to this temporary life’s many issues is found only in God’s Word. So, don’t make the mistake of looking for happiness to come from another human, where it never will be found. God told us where to find happiness, “Happy is the person who obeys God’s Law.” At best, other people can only enhance our happiness, though we cannot always count on them to do so; but they never can take happiness away from us when God is the One to have given it.
World Needs More Self-Control
Self-Discipline
©copyright 2007 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.
To all who love the Lord: “God shows us our erroneous works amid humanity and our exceeding sins against Him. He opens our ears to discipline and commands that we turn from iniquity. If we disobey, then we will perish according to the sword of His Word, thus die without ever having gained God’s knowledge” (Job 36:9-10,12). God says much about learning to exercise self-discipline, self-control of our thoughts and actions— an obligatory feature sorely lacking in far too many professed Christians today.
First, review the definitions of this lesson’s key words, followed with God’s Word on this vital component to becoming one chosen for heaven and Christ’s kingdom thereafter:
DISCIPLINE: n. 2. training that develops self-control, character, or orderliness and efficiency. 3. the result of such training; self control; orderly conduct. 4. acceptance of or submission to authority and control. 5. a system of rules or methods, as for the conduct of members of a monastic order. 6. treatment that corrects or punishes. v.t. [Disciplined, Disciplining], 1. to subject to discipline; train; control. 2. to punish. –SYN. see punish. —Webster’s New World Dictionary, Collegiate Edition
PUNISH: v.t. 1. cause (a person) to undergo pain, loss, or suffering for a crime or wrongdoing. 2. impose a penalty on a wrongdoer for an offense. [‘discipline’ suggests punishment intended to control or establish habits of self-control; ‘correct’ suggests punishment for the purpose of overcoming faults; ‘chasten’ is to punish in order to correct or make better, to restrain from excess, subdue; and is used especially in a theological sense (“God chastens and hastens His will to be made known” [Webster’s quote, possibly paraphrased from Isaiah 16:5; nevertheless, this is a  logic found  throughout the Bible]). —Webster’s New World Dictionary, Collegiate Edition
Revelation 3:19 finds Father telling us that He reprimands and corrects those whom He loves; therefore, we should be adamantly determined to admit, then cease doing any and all sins He points out to us while growing up into His righteousness. I Corinthians 11:32 and Hebrews 12:6 reassures us that, when Father corrects us, it IS because He loves us; it is meant to protect us from being condemned with the world when Christ brings God’s sentencing phase of judgment.
The above verses refer to the fact that infant Christians might continue in sin unaware, due to not knowing or understanding the weightier matters of His Law; which Christ mentioned those ‘weightier matters’ as needing to be taught. Still, God will show us where and how we err, whether it be through His Written Word or by one of His teachers; after which He expects us to repent.
This is a growth process referred to scripturally as beginning with milk of salvation’s basics, when we first become a Christian, then maturing to the solid food of weightier matters. Thus, it is better to be corrected and/or punished now than to fall dead at the brightness of Christ’s coming; as will the wicked and filthy who continue to refuse sound doctrine when given to them, thus they also reject God’s correcting rod.
Right about now, there likely are many shouting, “Christ died for ALL of our sins— past, present and future— therefore we are not corrected or punished after accepting Jesus. Jesus did that for us on the cross!” There is a tremendous difference between correcting punishment and eternal deadly punishment. Romans 3:25 and Isaiah 53:5 clearly confirm that our Messiah died for ONLY our ‘past’ sins; those we had committed prior to accepting Christ as both God’s Son and our Saviour.
Therefore, God made provision for infant Christian’s who might continue in sin unaware; which is virtually every person who initially comes to the Lord. There is not one denomination teaching God’s Law, not as a necessary component to proving our love for the Lord and by which to learn and employ righteousness, muchless teaching the Law’s weightier matters. Thus, each infant should hope and pray for anointed, taught-by-no-man, teachers who have matured to solid food and from whom we can learn how to become pure before the Lord; that we might be presented as virgins to our perfect Groom.
How does God show us our works and sins? II Samuel 7:14-15 renders evidence using King David. “If you commit iniquity, I will punish you with the rod of men and with the stripes of the children of men: but my mercy shall not depart away from you.” Jeremiah 2:19 clarifies the rod and stripes, “Your own wickedness shall correct you and your backslidings shall accuse you when you wander and play the harlot.” Play the harlot? If, after claiming to love the Lord, thus supposedly becoming one with Him, then we thereafter violate God’s Law, in effect we have committed adultery against Him: thus, acting like a harlot.
Clearly, if we have been taught God’s Law of Righteousness, together with many passages teaching its weightier matters, and we nevertheless turn to unrighteous behaviour, our own sins should cause us to feel guilt and shame; thus, ultimately God punishes us through mankind, whether it be that another person brings adversity upon us and/or the laws of the land punish us.
Psalm 39:11 continues, “When God rebukes a man, it corrects his iniquity, and God makes his beauty to consume away like a moth.” Jeremiah 30:11, “I will correct you according to MY judgments and will not leave you unpunished; though I will not make a full end of you.” As Proverbs 22:15 points out, “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive foolishness from him.”
EXAMPLES: Say a Christian adult is not a good steward of money God has made available for him or her to earn and live on; this person will quickly become debt-ridden, perhaps lose a home or car or more. His or her own sin should correct them, if they truly love God and Christ, for such love will cause them to seek a way to overcome irresponsible behaviour. We are, after all, taught to be not only good stewards of what God gives us but to also be good stewards of our employer’s business.
God’s Commandment says, “Thou shalt not steal.” Even if it is something as simple as a pen from work that one has taken or a pen not returned to a cashier, it IS a violation of God’s Law. If this person is a Christian, they should become riddled with guilt thus fear retribution. AND, it just might be that God will send the “rod of man,” which could be someone who breaks into this Christian’s home and steals all of their valuables— in exchange for a ninety-nine cents pen? The punishment, however, could be one of a variety of events, such as the loss of one’s job; not just the example given here.
While drinking alcohol is not a sin in itself, God says the drunkard shall not enter heaven’s gates. If we look at the life of a person currently consumed by addictions— which does violate God’s admonition of moderation but most notable is that addictions cause the addicted to violate one or more of God’s Ten Precepts— we find all manner of afflictions in such a person’s life and body: loss of livelihood, loss of home and health, loss of spouse and family and friends; the addiction might even cause a car wreck that kills another or him or her to steal in order to support his or her addition: the addicted will go to jail.
Christ stated that it will be harder for a rich man to enter the gates of heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. If a wealthy person gained their riches through illicit and/or unethical means, or say they do not care for those less fortunate than themselves and/or they treat their employees poorly, the rich might ultimately lose all they have. According to prophecy, they will lose everything, IF they do not repent of unrighteous ways: Christ’s directive was “sell all you have and give it to the poor, then follow in My footsteps.” ~~end of examples, yet there are many, many more.
If we think back over our lives, look at sins we’ve committed, then review various adversities that followed our sins, it should be clear how God brings to our attention our erroneous works amid humanity and our sins against God and man. Once reviewed with brutal honesty, we then must make a choice.
God wants us to review our sins according to what God calls sin, confess each violation, then repent and thereafter sin no more. We should understand, however, that not all adversities and afflictions are necessarily for punishment to better us; rather, some events might occur to test of our faith in God, believe He will see us through, such as Job: review a previous lesson entitled “Is Healing of a Christian’s Body a Given,” which includes a treatise of Paul’s “thorn in the side,” among other key Bible figures.
Psalm 19:18,20-21 encourages us to “punish our children while there is hope for their salvation and not to despair over their crying when corrected. We are urged to hear this counsel and to receive this instruction, so we may be wise in our latter years; for, in the end, only the Lord’s counsel will stand.” God doesn’t speak to hear Himself heard; nay, He accepts and uses His own counsel when it comes to His children: chastising and correcting and, if necessary, even punishing us for wrong doings until we change. Notice “until” we change; thus, we should be with our children.
Daniel 10:12 points out that in disciplining ourselves before the Lord— which is to humbly confess our sins, repent, repay to those whom we have offended, as required, and to request His mercy upon us: reminiscent of the tax collector’s behaviour as he stood in the Holy Temple along with one of the Pharisees in Luke 18:9-14 — we are assured that our words are heard by God and He will send the Holy Spirit to us as we need Him. II Corinthians 6:2 confirms God saying, “I will hear you at the appropriate time, and in the day of salvation I will help you. Behold, now is the time and now is the day of salvation.”
II Corinthians 6:9 and Hebrews 12:10 verify that God does chasten His children but we are not killed by His punishment; rather, we are corrected to make us better, more righteous. Our Father does this for our profit that we might share in His holiness. The Lord is clear that, if we are not chastised, it is because we are not His son or daughter: therefore, we should rejoice in His correction; despite the fact that being punished is not a pleasant thing, rather a painful event, but it will yield the peaceful fruit of righteousness in those who are trained by God. Think on this when it comes to training and correcting our own children: as God said, “Spare the rod and ruin the child.”
Psalm 94:12 further reveals another benefit of being corrected by God, “Blessed is the person whom God chastens and teaches him from God’s Law.” Job 5:17 adds, “Happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore do not despise the Almighty’s discipline.”
Concerning God’s correction, Jeremiah 31:18 should urge us to take on Ephraim’s attitude: “The Lord has chastised me like taking a whip to a bull unaccustomed to a yoke; He has turned me and I shall be turned: for God is the Lord my God.” We should want God to correct us, for we might not recognize when we are offending His righteousness, despite the fact one of His prophets may have warned us; we should want Him to turn us away from sin, from all things that He finds abhorrent. If we don’t want God’s discipline and correction, then we do not love God and Christ; for only in perfect love do we truly wish to please our Father Creator and Lord Saviour, in perfect love begging to be shown our flaws and wayward behaviours so we might change them.
Warnings: indeed, God does warn us before punishing us. In properly training errant children, the first thing a parent should do is to adamantly state to the child what is acceptable behaviour followed by citing what punishment can be expected if he or she disobeys the rules. Therefore, the teaching serves as also a warning; punishment to come thereafter, if the child rebels the first time against those lessons: never should parents withhold discipline by allowing the child to commit the offense numerous times. To withhold is to teach a child that the parent is a liar and it becomes a game the kid uses against such parents while they teach the child to lie. “Spare the rod, ruin the child.” A first offense, following appropriate teaching, should result in punishment.
Thus it is that God sends His prophets to warn us when we err from a lack of knowledge; in other words, His prophet explains what God expects of us and what we can expect if we continue to disobey God. To continue in disobedience then cause God to punish us and continue to punish us in various ways UNTIL we repent of the error in our ways OR it becomes too late for repentence; which ever comes first. However, becoming too late is quickly approaching. Nevertheless, God performed in this manner throughout the ancient days and still does so today. God does not change and neither has His requirements of those He calls sons and daughters.
II Timothy 3:16-17 tells us how we can go about teaching and correcting self: “ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and it is profitable for doctrine, for criticism, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness; so that a person of God may become perfect, completely prepared to do all good works.” Therefore, Romans 15:14 declares that, by learning and using God’s Word, we become filled with goodness and knowledge:  thus able to teach, guide, and warn one another.
I Thessalonians 5:12-15 urges us to recognize and acknowledge those who do work among us as teachers, to treat them with respect and to love them for the work they do for our sake. And, we are further urged that there be peace among our brethren.
God’s teachers, or prophets as it were, are instructed to: warn any brethren that is disobedient; to comfort those who are indecisive; to support the weak in health; and, to be patient toward all of mankind, both good and bad. II Thessalonians 3:14-15 further instructs that, if a brother or sister disobeys God’s Word, the teacher is to not keep company with him or her as a way of shaming the brother or sister. Yet, the teacher is not to consider him or her an enemy; rather, warn him or her as a brother or sister.
However, in warning brothers and sisters in Christ, teachers also are directed to warn a brother or sister no more than twice; for if he or she does not amend his or her ways in accordance with the first or second warning; then, as Titus 3:10-11 advises, if this brother or sister continues in sin after being warned up to twice, it is because his or her mind is perverted.
No matter how many ways we might phrase God’s Truth, God’s teachers cannot convert a person with a perverted mind; thus after the second admonition, we are to reject this person as a brother or sister. It is in cases such as this that we must remind self that only “God chooses whom He will to follow His Son.” We cannot and must not ever attempt to make God’s choices: for He knows the heart of this person, which we cannot know. To continue beyond a second warning is to assume the role of God: idolatry the crime.
The only thing we can come to know about a person to whom we witness is whether or not his or her mind is perverted. Upon determining perversion, we simply must reject and walk away, based on the added fact that not all who appear to be sheep are truly sheep: many are wolves, or Satan’s goats as it were, masquerading in sheep’s clothing.
We should want to learn by instruction rather than by God’s correction; the former is painless while the latter can be very painful. Remember, as a child, Mom or Dad had to spank you for misbehaving? It hurt, whereas you would have suffered no pain if you had chosen to follow instructions. The same methods apply to our Almighty Father, except as an infinite Spirit being He applies discipline in a far different and much greater way.
We also should learn by Israel’s example, the things that happened to them for their disobedience against God, as stated in I Corinthians 10:11; for we are the ones upon whom the end of the world is about to occur. If we desire to be taken up to heaven when Christ arrives, then it definitely is in our best interest to be adamantly determined not to duplicate Israel’s sins against God; yet, this is precisely what man’s incorporated Christian denominations teach us to do by having changed God’s Law and incorporating into this flawed doctrine many pagan rituals and festivals. We should obey God, instead of man—  Acts 5:29.
The bottomline is that true Christians and teachers exercise self-control, as noted in II Timothy 3:1-9; those who lack self-control are spoken of in II Timothy 4:3-5 as not enduring sound doctrine, rather seeking teachers to satisfy their lusts of the flesh, easily turning from God’s Truth to teachers of fiction and who use very little scripture to validate their ways. God’s teachers prove their teachings by every word of God, as noted in verse 5, and they live by every word of God as an example to follow. Recall that Jesus said to follow Him and Paul followed Christ, then Paul said, “Follow me.” To follow Paul’s example is to follow Christ’s example.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 quite clearly states the heart of this thing called self-discipline: “Fear God and keep His Commandments, for this is the whole duty of mankind. For God shall bring every man’s work into judgment, determining whether it is good or whether it is evil.” I Thessalonians 4:4 clearly tells us that, if we have “The Mind of Christ,” we should be able to control our own vessels, the behaviour of our own bodies and the words we speak. These admonitions are confirmed in Revelation 12:17, 14:12, and 22:14, along with the added instruction of having the faith of and in Jesus Christ.
With “The Mind of Christ,” we can control our behaviour and reject the temptation of sin each time it pops up. However, an infant Christian does not yet have Christ’s mind; which is gained through consistent growth in God’s Word. Albeit, a true infant Christian should possess perfect love within, which initially motivates obedience-by-choice that, ultimately, reaps “The Mind of Christ.” This Christian will be eager to heed the teachings and warnings of those mature in God’s Word. Be aware, however, that there is a huge difference between being mature in God’s Word— via anointing of the Holy Spirit, thus having been taught by no man— and that of having been taught in men’s seminaries to learn man’s commandments and traditions: the two are miles apart, an unfathomable distance between truth and lies, between eternal life and twice dead.
The opposite is true of those who, by rejecting God’s teachers, also do not have “The Mind of Christ:” instead, they tend to seek out teachers who say what they want to hear in support of their chosen lifestyle and who teach that man cannot become perfect; thus these continue in myriad sins while accusing others and excusing themselves in Christ’s name as well as going about persecuting the Lord’s teachers, just as the ancients did to Christ. What does the Bible say is sin? According to I John 3:4-6, sin is to transgress, violate, disobey God’s Ten Commandments, as set out by God’s own finger upon stone in Exodus 20:3-17 then given again in Deuteronomy 5:7-14,16-21.
Those who continue in sin have neither the motivation of perfect love within, thus are riddled with fears, nor do they possess “The Mind of Christ.” Where do you stand in obedience; and, who have you chosen for teachers? Continuing in sin is to declare one’s own death sentence. Accepting godly instruction coupled with self-discipline represent the comfortable route to heaven.
How has your way been working for you; and, what does your future promise to date? If it doesn’t look good, then discipline your self to God’s way.
Prepare and Prepare the Way
Prepare and Prepare the Way
©copyright 2007 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.
“Prepare” and “prepare the way” are two phrases found in abundance throughout the Bible; the former given as instructions and the latter as encouragement and reassurance. “Where there is a will, there is a way.” And, we know that God’s way and His timing always are perfect; while our way is full of potholes and pitfalls and our timing leaves much to be desired.
Two of the five greatest expenders of man’s energy are fear and worry, both of which go hand in hand; for what one fears, one worries about. To experience just one hour of either of these emotions utilizes the equivalent of eight hours of hard, physical labor: hours that, instead, could have been used to find solutions to problems: worry about how bills will get paid; a place to live; present dangers in this world; our children; worry about fidelity; about losing and/or finding a job; ongoing and/or potential wars; paying taxes; worry about affording food; gas prices; what others think of us; worry about what others have done to us; salvation; earth’s coming end; worry—worry—worry. These and more cause one to become riddled with fear; and, where fear exists, perfect love does not reside.
If we use our God-given free will to choose God’s instructions as well as exercise our faith, trust as it were, that He has prepared the way for us, there is no need for fear and worry: in fact, God guarantees that, if we make these two choices among several others, we will not experience fear or worry. Review what God says about how to “prepare.”
PREPARE
I Samuel 7:3 tells us to prepare our hearts for the Lord and remove all strange gods from our midst, as noted in II Chronicles 19:3; then I Chronicles 29:18 confirms that God is the One who prepares our hearts, if He is our true desire. And, by preparing our heart to seek the Lord, He states in II Chronicles 30:19 that He will pardon and purge them of sin; but, not according to the ordinance ritual of sacrifice and oblations. In other words, God purged then and Christ purges today by their holy Word, not by what we do in ritual.
Isaiah 40:3, Matthew 3:3 and 11:10 instruct that we prepare the way for the Lord, a highway as it were, for our God. While this was John the Baptist’s assignment ahead of and on behalf of Christ, it also is our instruction. In an aside, all key figures of the Old Testament are noted as having prepared their hearts to receive God: in short, they actively sought God, just as we should actively seek Him through Christ.
By preparing our hearts to receive God and Christ, which today we prepare by sincerely accepting Christ as God’s Son, being baptized of our past sins, followed by obeying God’s Doctrine, as Jesus instructed; then Christ and the Holy Spirit come to reside as permanent residents who give us perfect hearts; which means we will be filled with God’s love and Christ’s mind: to love as truly as God loves and to think as well as behave as righteously as Christ thinks and behaves: which is to have a heart to obey God’s Precepts and do all things He requires; the works by which we are judged. Then we are fit to receive God’s wisdom, knowledge, even His mysteries and secrets.
However, until we remove from our life all things offensive to the Lord, He will not enter our lives; as confirmed in II Chronicles 12:14, which states that when people do not prepare their hearts for the Lord, they will do evil. So, it behooves us to know and understand what evil it is that God “hates with a perfect hate.” In many cases, we have made self, things we have and/or things we do, and people in our lives, as those “strange gods.” Then, we compound these sins by following denominations teaching “man’s commandments and traditions” and a vow of prosperity, thereby accepting them as our “strange gods:” Satan’s synagogues, as the Bible describes them. We have only to study God’s Ten Precepts, in fact all of His word, to understand that He hates any and all violation of His Statutes of Life, His Law of Righteousness: disobedience reaps unrighteousness and evil ways.
Proverbs 16:1-5 reveals that the desire to prepare our hearts and the desire to gain answers come only from the Lord, which validates “God chooses whom He will to follow His Son, Jesus Christ;” therefore, we are instructed to commit our works TO the Lord, then our thoughts will be established BY the Lord. Proverbs goes on to say that one of the sins God hates is pride, which is the “weightier” sin of idolatry; but, if we fear the Lord thus are obedient, by His mercy and truth this sin will be purged from our hearts, if we first acknowledge this sin in us. All sin in us is purged by God’s mercy and Truth, for by His Truth are we able to recognize sin within us and, if we choose Christ, we also choose to sin no more.
Ephesians 6:15 tells us to prepare ourselves for the gospel of peace; to receive it and, wherever we go, we go peacefully and speak peace in the Lord. This means that, no matter what or who might come up against us, we are not to fight back: as Jesus directed and demonstrated with His own life, we ARE to turn the other check as many times as it takes for that person or persons to comprehend us as a people of God and thereby a people of peace, not war. Consider that it was when Christ died that one of the guards declared Him the Son of God, not before. So it might be that, by our own death, there could be a few who then acknowledge that we spoke God’s Truth. II Chronicles 35:6 then instructs that we also prepare our brethren, which goes hand in hand with Christ’s admonition to go out into the world and teach God’s Truth, both by example and word.
Please do not misunderstand: we cannot make a nation be one of peace, for God orchestrates all wars for His specific purposes; and, wars will not end until God says they end or He ends this earth as known today. The peace Christ’s sheep bring is peace within us, which should shine before each individual encountered. No matter how loud some might scream for world peace, it will not happen; thus these are seen as fanatics who do not support their governments or troops. It is a sin to speak ill of governing leaders of any nation, including one’s own; for as God said, He sets up kings and takes down kings according to His purpose. Possibly a sin to remove before God and Christ reside in you?
Job 11:13-20 states again that we are to prepare our hearts, and if there be any sin there, we are to put it far from us and not let it dwell in either our bodies or our minds. In doing so, we will forget misery’s pain; remembering each without pain, more like water that flows away. By this preparation, we are assured that we will become secure in hope, rest in safety, and nothing or no one will cause us fear. This is further confirmed in II Timothy 2:19-26, adding that by purging self of sin, we will become a vessel of honor, sanctified and appropriate for God’s use, thus prepared for every good work.
Psalm 10:17 says the Lord hears the desire of the humble and will prepare their hearts; one cannot be humble and at the same time possess pride: for they are diametrically opposed to each other. Humility is to acknowledge that we are nothing and do nothing except by the grace of God; whereas pride is to give one’s self credit for any and all accomplishments, whether they be of the world or of the Spirit. Psalm 61:7 enlightens that a humble people will abide before God forever, for God “prepares mercy and truth to preserve them.” By Psalm 119:142, and other like scriptures, we know that Truth is defined as God’s Ten Commandments: one piece of God’s Armour we must wear, yet not one piece missing. Alas, the majority of professing Christians are missing Truth.
The final message from God is found in Amos 4:12, “Prepare to meet your God!” Here, however, the message goes out to both the righteous and wicked, inasmuch as God created all that there is; for all people will face God and He will judge their works, that they are righteous or unrighteous: the latter partially noted in Malachi 3:55 as well as Psalm 9:7-10, Proverbs 19:16,27-29, and Matthew 25:41-46.
The final message from Christ is to the righteous in John 14:2-4 and Matthew 25:34,46, saying He prepares for them a place with Him where He is in heaven with the Father, and that they will inherit a restored earthly kingdom to come thereafter; where they shall live eternal life. Hebrews 11:16 states that God has even prepared a city for those not ashamed to call Him their God: we view this city in Revelation c.21 as New Jerusalem coming down from heaven.
More over, I Corinthians 2:9-12 assures those, who have prepared their hearts for God, that the Holy Spirit reveals all these things to them; for as a mere human or one who has not prepared his or her heart to receive God and Christ, we could not and will not know by our own devises. II Timothy 3:7 reveals that man’s devises are steeped in ever studying but never coming to the knowledge of Truth; for they are mired in “man’s commandments and traditions,” therefore they do not receive God’s Holy Spirit.
PREPARE THE WAY:
In responding to the admonition to “prepare our hearts,” we find that God not only purges us of sin but He also prepares the way for us in all our works for the Lord and in our daily living needs. We are assured and reassured that we will not go without our basic needs and neither will we fall short of meeting a work that God wants us to accomplish. There are many Old Testament situations where one of the key figures was instructed to go to another place and, each time, God stated that His angel— the Holy Spirit— would prepare the way ahead of the person being instructed to go.
We have only to remember that we can do all things in God and for God, as long as we have prepared our heart to receive God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. So, what is there to worry about? What is there to fear?
JUST PREPARE YOUR HEART!
Pop Goes the Balloon ~~ of LOVE
Pop Goes the Balloon! ~~ of LOVE
©copyright 2007 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.
If we stretch a rubber band far enough, it breaks, then uselessly and painfully snaps back into our face or the face of another; or, if we put too much hot air into a balloon, it pops and shrivels to a wrinkled, useless mess of thin rubber no longer resembling its former glory, never again to smoothly float heavenward. These analogies applied to the times we live in should cause us to consider how we over use the word LOVE: abused until it now has no significant meaning.
The word “love” is used every day to convey a tremendous number of likes and desires; none of which relate to love as God defines it: “I love . . .  my life; limousines; Armani clothes; the color purple; Leonardo D’Caprio; acting; horror movies; rock ‘n roll; Tim McGraw; to sing and dance; Mexican food; custom houses; fancy décor; diamonds; Madonna; my job; video games; money; I would love to do .  . . or love to have .  . . or love to be . . . or love to go to . . .” The list goes on and, somewhere in this unholy mix, love for spouse or child or God and Christ might be expressed on rare occasions. As Jesus said, “If you love your life and this world more than me, you are not worthy of me.”
Love spoken, as above, seems to come from flattering lips instead of a heart reflecting God’s love IN BEHAVIOUR. If we never again spoke or wrote the word love, all would know and recognize our love, or lack thereof, by the things we do for or against self and others. God and Christ said, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If we are out of control and our behaviour is not Christ-like, we do not love self or mankind. It is that simple.
Is it any wonder our young, and even most adults, have no concept of what truly is love, would not recognize true love if it bit them? We all are or have been guilty of blowing up love’s balloon until it pops then deflates into a totally ineffectual, meaningless word. Many months ago the Holy Spirit pointed out the abuse of love’s true meaning, then directed that the findings be shared with others as a Sabbath lesson for the Lord’s Day.
In misusing and abusing the true, heartfelt use of this word, we have conditioned our minds to accept a reduction of its meaning to nothing more than an indifferent “like” for something or someone; thus, our words and behaviour convey this flawed definition to other people’s minds as well as the minds of our children. Our subconscious brain affects and controls exhibited behaviour in all things, and it does so based on words we either think or speak or have heard: both negative and positive.
We have blown up the concept of love until, today, it has popped into only the act of sex; and, when this wanes in a relationship, as it was meant to do as a godly form of birth control, a couple assumes they no longer love each another. So, they decide it is time to divorce then seek a new love interest; not necessarily in that order. Therefore, adultery reigns supreme in this nation, justified by Christian denominations with a variety of unjustified excuses in twisting God’s Word: “There is a way that seems right to a man but it is the way to destruction.”
This nation is known globally for its immorality flamed by fornication and adultery. So, it comes as no surprise that the United States has the highest divorce rate than any other country. Why? Because according to Christ, in Matthew 24:12, “Sin abounds, the love of many has become cold [indifferent].” Certainly the majority are unconcerned, despite profuse professions of love, inasmuch as, Christ explained in John 5:40, “The love of God is not in you.” If the love of God is not in a person, then he or she is marked for a pit of fire and brimstone; unless he or she chooses to repent. It is this simple.
We have only to look to God for examples demonstrating love; to begin, I John 4:16 states, “God IS love.” In fact, the entire Bible speaks of God’s loving, merciful and righteous character; love and mercy reflected in His Royal Law of Love thus His righteous and just nature reflected in His Ten Statutes of Life; of which, according to God and Christ, love and righteousness and justice also must become our own character traits. Such a personality, if you will, has nothing to do with either this world’s things or man’s wicked inventions and vile behaviours: it has everything to do with our relationship with God as well as mankind. God’s love is again cited in Romans 5:5,8; II Corinthians 13:11,14; and I John 3:16
God IS Love; however, He further defines His love in Galatians 5:22-26 as:
1. joy;
2. peace;
3. longsuffering, which is patience;
4. gentleness;
5. goodness;
6. faith;
7. meekness;
8. temperance, which is self-control.
Additionally, we are shown love is:
1) to speak Truth, Ephesians 4:15, which Truth Psalm 119:142,151 states is God’s Ten Commandments;
2) to sacrifice our flesh and spirit being to God, Ephesians 5:2, as Christ gave Himself for us;
3) to follow after righteousness (God’s Ten Precepts), godliness and gentleness by faith and love with longsuffering patience, I Timothy 6:10; and,
4) to have no fear, for perfect love casts out fear, I John 4:18; and,
5) to obey God’s Commandments, I John 5:3-5 and II John v. 6
In addition to God’s hatred of wickedness mentioned in Zechariah 8:17 and Proverbs 8:13 plus hatred of man’s wicked inventions, things, in II Chronicles 26:15-16; Psalm 99:8; 106:29,39; Proverbs 8:12; Ecclesiastes 7:29; and Romans 1:28-32; God’s Word further cites what is NOT LOVE:
1) love of money, I Timothy 6:10-11;
2) loving the world and its things, I John 2:15-17;
3) love by word instead of by deed, I John 3:18;
4) and a lack of love violates God’s Law, I John 3:4-11, the same Law written by God’s own finger in the beginning, cited in Exodus 20:3-17 and Deuteronomy 5:7-14,16-21
True love has no heart for disobeying even one of those righteous, liberating Statutes; but, feigned love will pick and choose which to disobey and justify same by twisting God’s Word to suit one’s lifestyle: partial obedience according to convenience and a desire to fit into society, instead of total obedience from an all-consuming love that sets us apart from society and the world.
The vast majority of professing Christians easily say God is Love but truly do not know or understand all the ins and outs of how He exhibits love; the same exhibition we are instructed to show the world: the operative word being “show, don’t tell.” God’s Love is shown, not only in the beautiful world He created for us or the fact His Son loved us so much that He willingly died a horrible death, so our past sins might be forgiven; but, God also revealed His love when He set out exactly and plainly what He expects of us, showed us how to do it by His Son’s living example; then, God told us exactly what the rewards would be IF we obey or disobey: life or death. Now, how fair is that? FAIR!
More importantly, God shows His love by correcting and/or punishing His children in the here and now, when or if we disobey: better now than in the end; for while the wicked and filthy are not punished now, they will be utterly destroyed in the end for their lack of repentence.
God IS the perfect parent, one every parent should copy yet so few do. Many parents today let others raise their children— schools, television, video games, the Internet, daycare and so forth— then complain when their child goes astray. These parents fail to teach, train and guide their kids from the cradle up; worse, many parents fail to discipline when necessary.
Such parents “show” a lack of true love for their kids, then they wonder why that son or daughter one day shouts, “You don’t love me!” of “I hate you!” When children act out, are unruly, out of control, even destructive and easily lie, it is a child’s way of demonstrating a silent scream: “Love me enough to make me do what I’m supposed to do, because I don’t know what to do!” Thus, God our Father disciplines us when we are unruly, out of control, disobedient.
God IS Love. He loves us so much that, when He corrects and/or punishes, our tears do not deter Him; and, He advises that we not be deterred by our kids’ tears. If only parents realized that, by withholding teaching and training and guidance as well as corrective punishment, they are enabling and even encouraging worse behaviour in the child.
A child who is out of control clearly reflects parents who are out of control: it is as if they wear on their backs, for the whole world to see and all do see, a huge red neon sign saying, “I’M OUT OF CONTROL.” People and parents such as these are often called “control freaks,” because they attempt to control petty issues in everything and everyone around them, except self and their children. In their mind, sadly, they think this means they are in control. God deems them out of control.
We are told in II Corinthians 2:8 and 8:8,24 to confirm and to prove, which is to provide evidence of, our love for God, Christ, and our fellow humans. Then, II Corinthians 5:14 explains that, when we truly love, we do not live for ourselves; rather, we live for God, Christ, spouses and children, and for serving our brethren. In not living for self, we make better witnesses for God, better husbands and wives, and become much better parents. Bear in mind: it is NEVER TOO LATE TO BECOME A BETTER PARENT and A BETTER CHRISTIAN. It is a matter of life and death, theirs and ours.
I John 2:3, 3:22-24, and 5:2-3 tell us how to confirm, prove and provide evidence of our love: obeying God’s Precepts is the evidence that reveals we both know as well as love God, Christ and mankind. Revelation 12:17, 14:12, and 22:14 then confirm that the evidence we must present, to both God and mankind, is also the keys that open to us the gates of heaven thus giving us access to God’s tree of life therein.
Once becoming aware of how we humans have destroyed the true meaning of love, we then should choose to closely monitor when and how we use this very important word: a word so vital that it literally means everlasting life or eternal death. We should no longer use it carelessly, using it only when we MEAN love in its truest sense, LOVE by God’s definition and by His standard that we demonstrate His character.
Otherwise, we LIKE many things and people but should not covet them. Then, when we say we love God or Christ or all people, there are no gray clouds; veils that cause others to doubt or question our sincerity; for our total behaviour should match what we say and write, IF our expression of love is in Truth. This is to love even those who sin against us: love the sinner, hate the sin. This is God’s way.
Everyone is urged to analyze and monitor their use of this awesome word spelled L—O—V—E; a word possessed of incredible power. Choose to eliminate its use, except where love really should apply. Confirm and prove your love first, by giving evidence of it to God and Christ, according to the evidence God requires by our behaviour; and thereby, the evidence of our love for mankind. Then we can know and feel what is truly love: how it looks and acts and speaks.
As pointed out in the Sabbath lesson of 20 January 2007, “Talk the Walk, Walk the Talk.” Let the world see, without doubt, that you mean exactly what you speak and/or write; for love speaks only Truth, God’s Truth, and acts only in Truth.
Love is gentle and patient; love does not beat around the bush and never lies or is deceitful in any manner; love paints our kettle as black as it is, then it is up to us to clean up the mess we have made of our lives; love heals and saves our spirit being within; and most of all, love within us has the power to heal and save others whom God has called: the wayward sinner, out of control children and their enabling, out of control parents.
A Royal Wedding ~~ poetic heritage
©copyright 2004 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.
One of my grandfathers, thrice great or more,
came from Britain to America’s shore.
British aristocrats, he and his wife,
quickly gained rich ground without any strife.
They were English, this Questinbury clan,
whose own slaves worked their Quesinberry land.
Soon there were daughters catching young men’s eyes,
and handsome sons: tall, strong, ready to ride.
The youngest set out to see this nation,
slave driving not to be his vocation.
He rode rugged, wild southwest trails;
weathered hardships and never got frail.
Then one day, he met the girl of his dreams—
and, he must have been made for her, it seems—
for with her father it soon was agreed:
“A royal wedding to be,” was decreed.
She was a princess with long silken hair,
graceful in stride with features fine and fair.
Young Quesinberry started his new life,
wrote that he would bring home his special wife.
Slaves rushed to clean and dust the plantation,
planning many gala celebrations.
That royal bride must see them at their best,
and it’s highly polished family crest.
The long awaited day at last arrived:
two riders rode up the long, tree-lined drive.
Rejoicing turned to dismay and alarm:
there was an Indian on this son’s arm.
They never would receive a Cherokee:
forgot Questinburgs had fled Germany.
Thus, this his youngest son, father disowned;
 him and her sent from family and home.
The name’s spelling again would get a change,
Cherokee blood would subtly rearrange.
There are only a few Quesinberry’s,
and some of those spell it Quisenberry.
My staunch grandfather asked about my thoughts
concerning this tree his forefathers wrought.
Fearing my boldness, my aunt held her breath;
sure I’d anger him, even cause his death.
“They were a bunch of snobs,” I bluntly said.
His laughter roared as his face turned bright red.
So, I’m a little Cherokee princess,
Then another bit of German empress,
And a wee bonnie lass of Irish cream,
together with some French and Brit, it seems.
Oh, and a Castilian Spanish quarter.
All these should just about set the mortar.
Of course, they did have that big plantation;
so who can say who are my relations?
Who and whatever, I do love them all.
They were a bunch of snobs! That is my call.
Perhaps, she’s why I love nature’s features:
trees and flowers, and all of God’s creatures.
